She smiled when he offered to help. ”Backstage is a lot of fun and I’m glad you are coming to my show!”She said brightly, handing him a violet ticket with her name on it. When he mentioned the lift, she immediately nodded. “The main highlight to this show is a move that is incredibly hard to do, the Fouette. It’s throwing your other leg around your working leg as you spin.” She said, describing the movement.
Since it was a pretty hard move and she wanted Simon to know what she was doing, she decided to demonstrate it. Moving back a few steps, she bent slightly and turned, a leg rooted to the ground as the other whipped around. Her hands stayed in front of her body. She had executed a perfect fouette, something that some professional dancers cannot do all the time.
She steadied herself and turned back to Simon. ”Yes, it’s a lot of fun/ You get to express yourself with dancing.” She explained. She loved dancing more than anything in the world, she wouldn’t even be able to survive one day without dancing! She was thinking about the free style she had to do at the end of the dance. It has to be something that shows her skills, it must be something big and bold. ”She is pretty strict but she is extremely talented at dancing and has a passion for it.” Even though Shanelle does not necessarily like the way Madam Curtis teaches but she can see that Madam Curtis is good at ballet.
She formed a routine in her mind but bits of it was falling apart. She sighed. It is not going to work like that.

Let's talk some more @Shanelle Meza
He watched and was more impressed with her dancing ability, if that were possible. Simon smiled, "I can see why you're pushed as hard as you are. You've got incredible talent. Don't let it become all work and no play though. No one wants to lose their passion." He was like that with music. If he was working on a new song and got frustrated, he'd stop and come back to it later. He didn't ever want it to feel like a chore.
"So uh, you up for taking a break?" he asked her. They were there in the Rehearsal Room and if she liked the piano, they could play that, or they could do some regular dancing since he didn't know ballet. There was also a gramophone with some records to play where you cranked the side for it to play. Or maybe they could just talk and get to know more about one another.
"I mean, I think you should take a break. There's this Hufflepuff and he's sort of here. Me. And well, it'd be cool if you two, we two, got to know each other a little more." He smiled to her. Oy, he was making this awkward and he was trying NOT to make this awkward. This is what pretty girls did to him.
