Lillian nodded along with Bloom’s statement about Transfiguration. Transfiguration was very hard, but also very interesting. Of course she had only had a few classes, so her opinion wasn’t very stable yet. Lillian had also heard about Care of Magical Creatures, it sounded cool. She loved the idea of learning about magic animals. Regular animals were cool, and then add magic and they were even cooler. Lillian blinked at Bloom’s question, before a wide smile appeared on her face, “I love pets! Well, really animals in general. Especially the big cats, like lions and leopards. My favorite animal is the clouded leopards. Did you know they can hang upside down from trees? I’ve never had a pet before but I really want a cat.” Lillian blushed as she realized she was rambling. Wow, she was really starting to get comfortable around Bloom. Just then the snowball fighters began to yell at each other, Lillian turned around to see a group of people were standing and arguing about rules or something. Wow, people could even find ways to argue about snowball fighting. “Um…okay then…I’m not going to get in the middle of that. Anyway, uh, do you have any pets?” Lillian questioned.

It was obvious that her favorite animals were all muggle-related. Once she sees more of the magical world and takes on Care of Magical Creatures her third year, she will probably change her favorite animals being big cats to something else. Lillian had mentioned that she had always wanted a cat. Bloom nodded, knowing some of her classmates who have pets of their own at school. Some have rats, toads, owls and even cats.

"You can always adopt a cat and bring them to school. You'd have to get it signed off by your Head of House, but it is doable. A friend of mine has a pet rat that she has with her all the time," she said, shrugging. She hoped that this would help Lillian in bringing a cat to school. Bloom wished she could be able to have a pet with her at school. Unfortunately, she was unable to afford one from the Magical Menagerie. Her parents were not the richest and the money that they make was just to be financially stable.

"Oh no," she said, shaking her head. "I don't have any pets at all." Bloom paused and smirked. "But if I were to have a pet, I'd love a Pygmy Puff. Another friend of mine has one and they are adorable!" she said, thinking of the cute balls of fur.
