Interesting Reads
It was just a couple of hours before supper was to be served in the great hall, but as per usual Quinn found herself gravitating towards the library in search of an interesting read or two. She may or may not gravitate towards dinner time or better yet skip her meal altogether in favour of something interesting currently housed on one of the shelves she gently ran her fingers over.
She just so happened to be more interested in a dusty section of the library that clearly had not been touched recently and after looking at the titles, she wasn't all too surprised. They seemed strange or uninteresting for the most part, but a particular title tickled her curiosity.
Hairy Snout, Human Heart.
Pulling the book off of the shelf, it clearly did not see nearly as much use as most of the other's around here but she didn't ponder on why and began reading the first page. The words werewolf and human immediately jumped out on her and she was already hooked, closing the blue covered book carefully she quickly found her favourite spot in a window nook. The Ravenclaw wasn't entirely convinced she was supposed to sit there, but no one ever said anything to her so she curled up on the rather large, flat sill and opened the book eagerly, diving in almost immediately.

Interesting Reads
Kiara had just finished exploring some of the places in the castle when she stopped abruptly. There was a big door with beautiful patterns etched into it. Library! It was the only place she hadn't seen and the door looked entirely unfamiliar to her. She was never one to just go to libraries to just read but there could always be a first for everything.
She walked inside and her breath was just taken away. There were many many shelves of books that had hundreds of books on them. She noticed that not many people were in the library right now except for a couple of people. Once person caught her attention because she looked as though she could be Kiara's age. Kiara admired how curly and red the girl's hair is, made Kiara wish she wasn't so boring.
Kiara put her hair behind her ear and walked up to the girl sitting on her own. She sat across from her and looked at the book she was reading. "Oh that's neat, what are you reading there?" She hoped the young girl didn't think she was crazy for interrupting her while reading. Kiara was just looking for friends and she hoped that the girl could be one.

Interesting Reads
The girl's words pulled Quinn out of her book and she looked up at the newcomer. She seemed to be a first year as well and she was a bit taller than Quinn with pretty long brown hair. "Its called Hairy Snouts, Human Hearts. It's about werewolves and treating them the same as other people. They arent monsters, they are just... afflicted with a peculiar transformation." The redhead explained the book quickly and in a rushed, excited tone. Something about it was altogether interesting and engrossing and the girl could not quite put her finger on what that something was.
It took her a moment to realize she had goj3 practically into complete nerd mode and an all too familir warm feeling crept up her neck, grabbing hold of her ears and dusting over her cheeks.
"Ah, sorry. I got a little carried away for a moment... My name is Quinn. I'm a first year ravenclaw." She trailed off slightly at the end, still somewhat in disablief and disappointed at the house she was sorted into. Sure, the people were nice and she could always count on them for an interesting conversation but she could not shake the desire to have been in her mother's house.
