Sweetness Surrounds PV, Tagged

Simon looked up from their book to see Youssuf, a cool Gryffindor he had met during the snowball fight, approach them with a book and sit down to read. Simon flashed him a smile and returned the one sent by Vicky.
"Oh, a Dhamphir? Makes sense. I though you had some kind of eye disease. Phew." He pretended to wipe sweat from his forehead. "I agree with Vicky. I would kill to have an eye color other than brown or blue that occurs naturally."
Simon grinned when Winter showed her fangs. "Crazy cool! And cupcakes? Yum!" They took one and took a bite. It was delish! This girl should consider becoming a baker. "These are great! Thanks!"
Than someone else arrived- Lily from the snowball fight. Ew. Simon rolled their eyes at her dumb comment and returned to their book.
"Not good friends?" Winter asked them, to which Simon replied, "You could say that." and gave a simple nod to Vicky's question. Simon hoped that Lily didn't stick around for long.
Simon was so caught up in their book that they did not notice the other girl who had arrived- another Ravenclaw they did not know. They gave them a friendly little wave and said, "Hi!"
After waiting for their response, they returned to their book.
Simon perked their head up when they heard 'ice skating'. "I'd be down for that!" he said, then tapped their chin. "But how big is their feet? My feet are rather small. I want something small enough to fit me." They had never gone ice skating before, but when they were fitted for shoes they's always have to go to the kid's section.
"Choose whatever outfit that makes you look and feel good." Simon told Vicky. "Make sure to shield yourself from the cold too. I'll go change now, byeeeee! And with that, Simon rushed to their dorm to get some skates.

Youssuf had returned to his book for a while, before he suddenly became aware that other people were talking to him! He raised his head from the pages it was buried in, and listened to Winter's response to his query. "That's a good idea, Winter. Just let's finish our cupcakes and then we'll all go. Simon and I will be going in the same direction, though not the same dorm, of course."
He observed the rather unfriendly dynamic between Lily and Simon. Well, 'Lame' and 'Stupid' was what they called each other respectively. He didn't even remember why, it was so dumb a reason.
Youssuf listened to Victoria's question, grinning. It was the first time anyone had asked him about being a duellist (aside from Cody, and he was weird anyway). "It's going well enough, I suppose. Cody's been giving me some practice." he said, his eyes glinting at the remembrance of their Great Hall duelling 'practice'. Hehehe.
He gulped down the remnants of his rather good cupcake and carefully marked the page he was reading, before closing the book. He stood up and said, "Well, I'm gonna go change, eh? See y'all later." He grinned at the girls.
Youssuf followed Simon to the Gryffindor Dorms. The Phoenix Pen, to be exact.

Winter had nodded to Victoria to confirm she had made the cupcakes "I'm glad you like them!" There was now an awfully large group of people who would all be joining in to go to the amazing frozen lake! As everyone began to finish their cupcakes winter stood and stretched before wiping herself off from what snow had stuck to her clothes.

She smiled at Vicky "Alright!" though that was one less pair of skates needed she still was going to bring them all just in case, you can never play it too safe! People little by little broke apart from the group to go and get changed into a better skating wardrobe as winter was soon to do herself! "cya!"

Winter had been glad that everyone was excited and that they agreed, she assured everyone that the skates would fit and waved bye before heading to her dorm room to get everything together before heading to the lake where everyone would be meeting up once more! She was so excited and it showed as she skipped off into the castle.

"Well, you're in luck then Lily! I'm not a fan of sweets so here you are!"

Lily looked at Winter with the biggest smile as she took one of the cupcakes. She had to resist shoving the entire cupcake into her mouth but she still finished it pretty quickly. "That was delicious", she told the girl who had baked them.

The group of friends began to chat lightly. Victoria asked Youssuf how the duels were going, which told Lily that the Gryffindor was on her house's duelling team. Winter asked Lily and Simon why they didn't look happy to see each other and Stupid Simon replied with an elusive phrase. The Ravenclaw had nothing to add, so she forced herself to smile, praying inwardly that Simon would not stay long.

Then the group was joined by another Ravenclaw who looked to be their age and a friend of Youssuf's. The newcomer was introduced as Celeste and Victoria remarked that it was a pretty name.

Winter then suggested that the group go skating on the lake. Lily was surprised by the idea, she herself would never have thought of it. Most of the First Years looked excited and she replied: "Well, I've never skated before... but if you think you can teach me, I'd love to come!" Then it was agreed that everyone would go back to the dormitories to change before meeting at the lake. Lily was very excited!
