It’s a cold day and it’s lightly snowing. It’s early afternoon and their are a bunch of students outside to enjoy the snow. You can hear laughter and shouting, everyone outside looks happy. There’s a few students attempting to have a snowball fight and a group of students are surrounding the snowball fighters. The spectators are laughing at the fighters trying and failing to make snowballs out of the light snow. Lillian has her winter cloak over her regular school clothes and she steps outside and heads to the Great Lake. She smiles and enjoys the fresh air. When she reaches the Great Hall it only takes her a few moments for the snowball fight to attract her attention. She laughs softly to herself and decides to draw the scene. She sits down on the snow and pulls out her notepad and a pencil and starts to sketch the fighters and the spectators. After a few minutes of drawing, you notice Lillian drawing you and decide to walk over to her. When you reach her, Lillian doesn’t notice you immediately, she’s too absorbed in her drawing. When Lillian looks up to imprint the next person in the scene in her mind, she is greeted by the sight of you standing right in front of her. She jumps, not expecting someone to be in front of her. “H-hi. Can I help you?” She asks softly, looking at some point over your shoulder. It’s a little hard to hear her over the laughing and shouting of the other students and her soft tone doesn’t help. Her right hand immediately goes to the heart dangle on her black choker and gently squeezes it, as she always does when she is nervous. You smile and respond…

Although a cold day, Bloom felt it was a good time to go outside and enjoy the cool weather. Lightly snowing from the heavy clouds, Bloom made sure she was prepared by wearing a snow hat, gloves and a scarf along with her uniform. As she made her way outside on the courtyard, she thought it a better idea to head on over to the Great Lake area where there were other peers taking in the entertainment and fun of the weather.

Bloom was looking around until she saw a girl sitting on the snowy ground and drawing. Curious, Bloom walked over to the girl to see what she could be drawing. It wasn't as though there would be a lot of coloring considering that most of the environment around them was white from snow.

Bloom walked closely to the girl until it seemed that she caught her attention with her presence. She listened to the soft voice of the girl and gave a small laugh in embarrassment. She did not mean to bother the girl, she was just interested in seeing what she was drawing.

"Sorry, I was just so curious to see what you were drawing here," she said, and then looked at her sitting on the ground. "Also, with you sitting on the snow, wouldn't your tush get wet?" she asked, giving a slight giggle. Sitting on a rock or log made sense, but sitting on the snow itself just made for a numb butt.
Hi! Hopefully I can RP with you. Just a heads up on saying what the other person will do. This is a form of godmodding which is frowned upon in the RP community. Just focus on managing your own character and have them interact with mine. Just a friendly heads up and reminder! :)

Lillian was surprised with the girl’s question. She looked at the girl’s eyes and let out a small blush before replying, “I don’t mind sacrificing my dryness for a good angle.” Lillian spoke this a little louder than she did her first question. After replying she looked down at her drawing. It was far from finished, she had managed to get a basic sketch of the fighters and some of the spectators. The girl was on the page, Lillian could pick her out from the other people on the page. The sketch wasn’t impressive, which made Lillian consider not showing the girl. She paused for a moment before deciding that this girl hadn’t walked away yet, so she must really be interested. Lillian flipped around her sketchbook to show the girl. She looked the ground as she spoke again, “I was drawing the snowball fight.” She looked up at the girl again and realized she was still sitting on the ground and it made it really awkward for a conversation with someone who was standing, She quickly got up and blushed lightly before looking at the ground, she then asked, “So, um, by the way, my name is Lillian. I’m sorry if I made you uncomfortable with my drawing.” Lillian was talking fast and her eyes widened as she looked up at the girl and asked, “Did I make you uncomfortable?”

Thank you for letting me know about the godmodding!

Bloom realized that it was a bit surprising for someone many years older than them to ask about their tush like that. Perhaps even more on the inappropriate side of things, but the girl seemed to take on rather okay. Bloom remembered how intimidating the older kids were when she was so young. She remembered looking to them as being adults when they were just as young and stupid as she was.

Bloom's interest in the drawing peeked when she was given a chance to look at it. To Bloom, who doesn't draw at all, it was beautiful. Perhaps she was right about sacrificing her dryness for the angle that she drew. It took in the entire environment from what Bloom was seeing. She looked over to the people in the snowball fight and even the people spectating and back to the drawing. It was dead-on.

The girl was rising from the ground and Bloom gave her some space to do so. She then heard the girl introduce herself as Lillian. "I'm Bloom," she started and Bloom waved her hands in front of her as if motioning the girl to stop. "Oh no, not at all. Your drawing is wonderful," she said, wondering why she would feel uncomfortable with the drawing. "Was there something in that drawing that would make me feel uncomfortable?" she joked, wondering.

Lillian listened to Bloom introduce herself and though about how pretty of a name Bloom was. Lillian then blushed at Bloom’s praise. No one had ever complimented her drawings. Well, Lillian didn’t usually show people her drawings and people never asked to see them. The only person who had shown Lillian constant support was Micheal, and he didn’t attend Hogwarts. Lillian smiled at Bloom’s reassurance, Lillian didn’t like when people were uncomfortable or unhappy. Lillian then responded to Bloom’s question, “Well, I didn’t go up and ask if I could draw you all, and some people don’t like being watched or drawn, which is totally understandable. So basically I thought that just the fact that I was drawing you might have made you uncomfortable.” Lillian’s voice got a little lower at the end of her statement, and her eyes looked back to the ground. Would Bloom think her reasoning was stupid? Probably not, but Lillian couldn’t help but worry a little. But, also, Bloom was still here! She had introduced herself to Lillian! That means she had to at least tolerate Lillian, and she had complimented Lillian’s drawing. Lillian was fairly certain that Bloom was a good person, after all, good people gave compliments. So Lillian smiled a little and looked back up at Bloom as she waited for her reply.

At the response of saying that she was drawn, Bloom looked back at the drawing and believe it or not, she saw herself in the drawing. To Bloom, she saw herself drawn relaxed and somber. If anything, it made her feel better about herself that she wasn't hunched over or depressed looking, although that is how she had been feeling for years. But luckily, she did not give off that vibe to someone who is all about drawing what they see.

"I actually like the way you drew me," she said, still looking at herself in the drawing. She tore her eyes away from the paper and back at Lillian who seemed to meet her at the same level by getting up from the ground.

"So you are a first year?" she asked, wanting to make sure that the young demeanor of the person in front of her was that year. Some people looked young for years, and she did not want to offend her. Perhaps Lillian was a second year. Who knew? She wondered how her experience was so far, but did not know how to ask. Perhaps she did not have a great experience yet and did not want to be reminded. "Have you done anything fun so far?" she asked, trying to change the question ever so slightly.

Lillian smiled when Bloom said that she liked the way Lillian drew her, Lillian liked to think that drawings were ways of letting people see how other people saw them, of letting people see the best of themselves. Lillian knew very well how hard it was to see the best in yourself. That’s why friends were so important, they reminded their friends of why they were awesome and amazing. “Yep! I’m a first year. And I tried ice skating and that was pretty fun. And of course I’m in a literal magic school so that’s amazing all in itself. Learning charms and transfiguration and potions are so much more fun than math and science and learning and even though we still have history it’s history of magic so even that’s interesting.” Lillian blushed as she realized she was starting to ramble. “Anyway, enough about me. So, what year are you? You seem to be older than me, so you must have spent a lot more time at Hogwarts which means you must have had a lot of fun and interesting experiences.” Lillian stated. She was very curious about what the older years got to do, she had heard something about a ‘Hogsmeade’ and considered asking Bloom about that. Bloom was nice, maybe they could be friends? Lillian quickly snapped back to reality as Bloom began to reply.

"That sounds like a lot of fun," she said, listening to how the girl tried ice skating for the first time and how excited the girl was about it all.

Bloom forgot what it was like prior to Hogwarts. Granted, she was a Half-Blood and was always around magic, and from the sound of Lillian sharing her experience so far, she was definitely a Muggle-Born. But it did give Bloom some food for thought. Although a Half-Blood, Bloom was so excited to take classes and be in the school her father went attended. It was like a whole new world opened up. But now... With so much that happened on the grounds, it was hard to see that optimism again. She was glad, however, to see it in Lillian.

"Yes, much older than you. I'm a fifth year. As for fun...," Bloom paused. Why ruin Lillian's experience already? She was a bright light in all of this darkness. She had yet to witness anything negative at Hogwarts. Why spoon-feed her the terribleness of Hogwarts? Maybe... Just maybe it will change and be better for her and her generation. "... there's a lot of that! Though I'd more call it interesting," she said, ignoring the details. Bloom felt good with the decision. She did not need to know about hags, deaths, mirrors, slugs... Nothing of the kind. Plus, it was all over as far as Bloom knew since the Fall Ball.

"I went to public school before Hogwarts, and I can't agree with you more about how cool the classes here are in comparison. I find potions and charms to be one of the hardest classes for me. But that's because I did not focus as much my first year. So be sure to keep up with your studies!" she said, giving her some friendly advice.

Lillian listened as Bloom told her that she was a fifth year. Wow, thought Lillian, Bloom must have done a lot, a lot of years of experience. Bloom seemed like she was a good student. She smiled widely when Bloom said there was a lot of fun. Lillian loved fun things. And interesting things too. Interesting things made life more, well, interesting. When Bloom told her to keep up her studies she responded with an enthusiastic, “I will!” Lillian then added, “I really like Hogwarts. I mean, I miss my dad and Micheal, but everyone at Hogwarts is really nice.” Lillian remembered all the time she had spent making sure Micheal didn’t get in trouble for all of his pranks and she smiled. It was disappointing that he wasn’t magic, she could definitely use the constant support that came from him. Lillian thought for a moment before saying, “I think Charms is my best class, definitely my favorite class. Defense Against the Dark Arts is my hardest class though. You told me that potions and charms were your hardest classes, but what are your best?” Lillian paused for a moment before adding, “Or your favorite! Favorite things are good.” Lillian nodded to emphasize her statement. She then listened attentively to Bloom’s reply.

Bloom meant to listen to the little girl, but as she was explaining about missing her family, her eyes were stuck on watching the kids throw snowballs back and forth. It seemed heated from what Bloom was witnessing. Someone had gotten hit on the head (which would have hurt) and they were all discussing the rules and what makes a fowl to set the score back.

She tore her gaze away from the group and back to Lillian who was sharing her favorite and difficult classes. She could see how Defense Against the Dark Arts could be difficult. It was always hard to know what spells to use when you're dueling. The question then backfired back and Bloom gulped to herself. Classes that she was good at? She couldn't help but to laugh and cry at the same time. There were none as far as she knew. Bloom did not even know what she wanted to be when she got older.

I am just going to skip my best classes, Bloom thought, thinking she would slyly ignore that question and jump into which one was her favorite. "My favorite class is probably Transfiguration," she said, shrugging. "I don't get it most of the time, but when I do, it is a treat to understand something in that class," she said, chuckling ever so slightly.

"I also kind of like Care of Magical Creatures," she added, "but you won't be taking that class for awhile." Bloom, for the first time, realized that maybe she did find a class that she could like. There was something about animals. Granted, she never grew up with animals in the past, but maybe there was something new she could learn from the class about herself.

"Do you like pets?" she randomly asked.
