"That is wonderful! I will make sure to tell my future pet about how amazing Loki is! Oh, and my favourite classes are potions, transfiguration, history of magic and flying! You can help me out with your favorite subjects and I can help you out with mine, that would be so great!"
She was a nerd also, just as much as Henry if not more, but she didn't see anything wrong with it so she smiled at Henry without a single sign of awkwardness. She was glad to talk to another person with a passion for knowledge.
Then she accepted her piece of cake from Henry, shaking her head at his question.
"No, I think I forgot forks and spoons too, I wanted to bring them but then I totally forgot to buy plastic forks and I didn't want to bring iron ones because they would clatter and I was running here after curfew and couldn't make too much noise! So we'll have to eat with our hands if you guys are okay with it! I brought tissues to wipe our hands afterwards though!"
She grinned at the boys when they both accepted her offer to play two truths and a lie and her face went thoughtful for a second.
"Okay, I'll start us off then! I was on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, my mom is a muggle and both my siblings are Hogwarts students! Guess which one is a lie! That's a simple one really, I don't think it will be a challenge at all to you so it's more like a warm up"
That was an easy one, she thought at least one of them would guess correctly.

Henry replied with a soft smile glad that Nicky didn't mind his awkwardness or nerdy self. The teen always enjoyed having friends who have a interest in knowledge and their classes like him, a part of him didn't mind the house he was in. Since one's house doesn't define them. It their choices and actions that do and those are what matter, not what house someone is in.
Henry nodded toward Nicky's words, passing out a few more tissues to the each of them since they would be using their hands. The teen didn't mind and looked forward to it in fact, having little opportunity before hogwarts to be messy or eat with one's hands. The teen loss that experience as a child si he smiled at the possibility of doing it now.
Picking up the cake in left hand, Henry rose it to his mouth then took a large bite. Smiling through chewing as he placed the cake back on the plate. Wipeing his hands off as he swallowed then spoke"the cake is brillant, Nick," smiling a lottle then listening to the gryffindor as the game started.
Quidditch. Siblings. Mother. The teen thought for a moment, remembering their first meeting last year in the great hall with the book. Henry thought he remembered her saying that her mother was a translator and Nicky is a halfblood so the mother part should be true. Remembering the girl mention her quidditch spot and team quite a bit, the teen found his answer.
"Are the truths that your mother is a muggle and was on the gryffindor quidditch team? Then the lie would be that both your siblings are at hogwarts, right?"

"I agree with Henry," Simon spoke up. "The lie is both of your siblings are here at Hogwarts." She had mentioned her older sister, but he didn't think there was another sibling and she said siblings, thus plural.
He looked down to the cake and tore off the smallest little bit of it and brought it to his mouth. Sweet tasting things were never his thing - but then again nothing ever seemed to be. Still, he didn't want to be rude in front of the birthday girl and he appreciated her thoughtfulness.
It was his hope that after this round, maybe Henry would go. He had a hard time coming up with his three statements. Part of it was because he didn't like having to think up a lie but mostly it was because he didn't want to talk about himself. He loved his life and liked the person he was, but there was just something about being boastful it would sound like. Beside,s he was a people person and would much rather spend his time getting to know a friend than the other way around. He didn't mind people getting to know him, but he wanted to share in their interests and passions in life.
