Both Richard's parents are muggles. Edward Coulter was the military cadet, when he met Louisa Melcher, at 24. Louisa was pursuing doctor career when she met Edward, however, after a year and half of courtship, she put it on hold and focused on preparations for a wedding day and the future with Edward.

Alas, soon after Edward graduated military academy he got an offer to be an ambassador in foreign country, Serbia, and despite Louisa's resistance he accepted the offer. Plans for the wedding and settling were drastically changed and rushed, also it cause a family feud between their families and tension between them.

Richard was born in a small town, Novi Sad, where his parents settled in after moving overseas. No one was aware that Richard has magic blood flowing through him, or prescribed mysterious things that were happening around the boy to him. Raised in extremely religious family, he was led to believe it's the signs or miracle from the god. Richard also was distinctively looking compare to everyone in the family, including his six younger sister.

His father was always suspecting he is not his son, since the feud between families and the distance between him and Louise was at its worse when Richard was born, but he never pressed with accusations or put real effort to find out. In fact, when the letter reached from Hogwarts reached their home Edward was the one who was supportive the most and encouraged Richard to embrace his destiny.



Richard is underweight for his age and shorter than everyone of his age. No matter what he tried, even get involved with sports that helped other kids develop, didn't have any visible effect on him. He has a brown hair and eyes that shift color from green to grey/brown, often raising the question if he is wearing contacts.



Richard was from the small age quiet and shy boy. Most of the days he would spend running across the open fields, chasing small wild life, playing with himself, rather than with other kids. In the company he would always stick out no matter how much he wanted to be invisible in the crowds.

Also, he was a slow bloomer, where his generation would move with a flow of the modern society he preferred to remain kid longer. That said, he is many ways more advanced compared to the people of same age and it made his childhood really difficult. Being unable to blend in or find the common ground, not just with kids, but also always misunderstood by his family, he found the rescue in the books and his own fantasy.

Over the time he discovered that there is something different about him than others but he couldn't explain or point exactly what. As he grew older his devotion to find out what is that feeling has developed withing him a great sense for adventure and curiosity.

History: She wasn't happy to follow Edward overseas. Before they move out, after the wedding ceremony, the hell broke loose between two families and Louisa was in center of the havoc. After Ann was born, the relationship between her and Richard really degenerate to ruin over the time.

History: She came to this world after Richard constant mentioning he would want a sibling. As it came to be Ann was born, with a decent age gap between them. Unfortunately, with her arrival, his already lonely and not so great life, became much worse
