Is your friend alright? From the rosters but at least you got to see the chicks. That must have been wicked and you have a bull? That is brilliant! Your lucky, Dakota.

Wicked so Josh can be described as a big brother to you at time since he's older than your eldest cousin who is nearly nine years older than you. Its jaws for some to imagine their siblings or family at Hogwarts, it's a strange sensation but also a welcoming one. I'm glad your a part of my choosen family to, Dakota.

I'll always be by your side whenever your ready to talk about your father, Dakota.

That still is a wicked gesture that your brother does with his hair to keep your father alive even if it upsets your mom. That's cool you guys play in the ditch and do competitions with the hurdles? Wait creatures hide out in your grandparents ditch? That's wicked! Maybe not the sneak part...

I left for Europe the 22nd which is why this letter is rather wait, apologies but now we can use owls again! Apollo will be delivering this letter and remeber he bites occasionally...

That would be brilliant if you visited to! I'll love to show you all the creatures and Godric Hollow before the summer is over but if you don't make it then there's the Christmas holiday!

For squibs, being born magical is quite complicated. Alright so when a muggleborn is born with magic then usually somewhere deep into their family, almost always forgotten is a magical family or connection to a magical family where they get their magic genes from.

For sequins being born in a pureblood family without magic then the simple explanation is the magic genes skipped them but they will lead to having a magical heir somewhere.

Dear Henry,

Ah, it wasn’t my friend who got chased by the rooster, I did. The rooster jus wasn’t happy with the fact that I was snatching up some eggs and entered his “domain”. We’ve had our bull for years, he’s a old boy but super sweet to mostly everyone, unless he’s merely in a bad mood and decides to take it out on you.
I remember one time, me and my cousins had rode out to the barn on the forewheeler. It was this big black and red one and I was sitting between them. I didn’t want to go out into the pasture because I was scared of the bull, but the two boys were dead set on going in there. Turns out the old boy must’ve been in a bad mood as I’ve never seen him flip that forewheeler until then nor had I ever seen the two boys scamper off it so quickly.
Yeah, I guess you could say that. Josh has helped them not lose me take care of me multiple times. There’s a whole story behind how I ended up meeting him when I was a toddler, scared my eldest cousin half to death that day. Dad also..wasn’t too happy with him or me.
I suppose it would feel odd if Lynn got a letter to Hogwarts. She’s never had anything odd happen with her, not that couldn’t be explained anyway, so I highly doubt she will be receiving a letter as I don’t believe she’s exhibited any magical behavior.

Yeah, it is. We’ve always kinda played outside, they taught me how to climb trees and we snuck into the woods once to explore. We may not be the smartest tools in the shed when we’re grouped together..but we definitely have our fun. The pole had been in the ditch for years, I was always too afraid to use it when I was younger but now I know how to and do it all the time instead of walking down the road, since it helps me get to the pool quicker.
Yeah! There’s always been little things hiding out in the ditch at my grandparents, it’s kinda deep, but once my dads cousin and brother shoved him in there. Dad ended up getting in trouble for it. But the snakes down there are terrible, they even get into the house sometimes.
No worries! Thanks for the reminder, kinda need a bandaid now, but I’m fine. I just..need to find the notes i wrote down.
I’d love to come! I won’t be back in Scotland till August, so if I came during the summer it’s be sometime after that. I’ll have to add that to my planner, if I can ever find it.
Tucker is..Tucker, he’s my little cousin, he’s got that golden-brown hair like all of us, but his eyes are brown, so he also got our..personalities. I’m glad it was a little quieter when I called you this time though, kinda stepped outside and sat on the swinging bench.

Yes, exactly. My cousins never truly understand why I enjoy animals so much, there’s been plenty of times where a family barbecue happens and I’m just hanging out with the dogs. People are too hard sometimes, then you find the good ones that fit with you.

Dear Dakota,

You sound like you have a great life. A adventure almost, I was smiling and thinking of you as I read this. You have a large family, don't you?

You should feel lucky to have so many people who you can rely on and who care for you, having family is a blessing or something that doesn't happen to everyone... uh ingored that anyway this letter will be arriving late since I'm back in England! Godric Hollow to be specific!

And it's amazing, the house and the forest is just as I remembered. I wish I could show you and the family of bowtruckles, they remembered me... it's been a strange past month but being back here is different but in a good way.

My brother is a auror and has a annoying preppy girlfriend, I share a room with my step sister, and Loki is doing alright. I look forward to see you again and miss you, Dakota.

I better go, the others keep bothering me about different topics and debates. It's chaos here anyway write later and I look forward to your reply.

Dear Henry,

Ah, you could say it’s kinda like a adventure, I suppose. We do a lot of exploring when we’re on the farm because there’s a large forest behind the brick house, so we’re never too bored! Yes, I do have a rather large family. On my dads side alone, I’ve met seven people so far that are apart of our family in some way.

I defiantly know I’m lucky, Henry. That’s great! I hope you’re enjoying you’re time there. You seem really fond of Godric Hollow from what I can tell.

It sounds wonderful to be honest, kinda like a land from a fairytale or fantasy story, ya know? I’m glad it’s different in a good way, it’s understandable for certain things to be different in a certain way, even if you’ve been there before. Things age and change, so almost nothing will ever feel the same if you leave and then come back. Plus the bowtruckles remember you? That’s interesting! Have they came out and greeted you yet?

An auror..that’s a career in the wizard in world, correct? Ah, it can be hard to deal with someone who seems to be annoying, hopefully she won’t be that way for too long, or hopefully you’ll get use to her. Well, I’m glad you and Loki are doing alright at least. I miss you too, Henry, I can’t wait to be able to start looking at magical creatures again together.

Chaos is fun in my book, most of the time at least. This letter is arriving a little later than I expected since were back in Dundee! We’re all kinda settling back into the place, but my grandparents gave us some chocolate covered pretzels before we left.

Dear Dakota,

A adventure is always fun. I hope you took some pictures or will tell me about them when we get back hogwarts, speakimg of school will you be attending the summer camp this year?

Do you like having a large family? I won't say you lucky if you don't believe it yourself, first.

I am rather fond of Godric Hollow I guess, I haven't thought of it that way but it is the place where I was born and my first memories are here but all I end up thinking about is... your right, thing's change. Grow and age. They become something better, right or for better or worse. It is like a fairy tale now that you mentioned it, I'll send you skme photos in my next letter so you can see the 'stroy book' place yourself.

The bowtruckles did remember me! It was bloody brilliant! They sat on my arms and I felt like I understood them when they looked into my eyes if thats makes sense.

A auror is someone who cacthws dsrk wizards and witches. They work for the ministry.

It won't be long now, soon we'll be together once more. Looking for and reading about magical creatures and animals, I'll tell Loki you miss him and I can't wait to see you again!

How does it feel to be home in Scotland?are the pretzels good? I was going to send you some chocolate but since you already have some does that mean you don't need more?

Dear Henry,

While an adventure is always fun, I certainly need some more wind down time every once and awhile. And of course I took photos! My aunt let me borrow her camera and print out the photos, so I’ll attach some to this letter if you’d like to see the farmland and animals. I’m honestly unsure, I don’t think we’re going back to Oklahoma next summer, so possibly? I also didn’t go this year simply because I wasn’t so sure about it.

Having a large family can be..tiring at times. I mean, I love each and every one of them, but sometimes being woken up at two in the morning because one of your cousins climbing into bed with you can be annoying, other times cute though. Other times I get chased around with sparklers in the front yard by my two older cousins because they think it’s funny. Then again I use to do the same so..

Well, being fond of a place is always good. Hopefully you also have a sense of belonging there, that’s always important too. You’ll have to show me some of your favorite places there if I ever visit. Having memories in a place is always important, I hope they’re good ones though, you deserve good memories. I’d love some photos! The place does sound really pretty, Henry. Also glad you think of it kinda like a fairytale land too.

Oh wow! That’s awesome! What did it feel like while they were sitting on your arms? I think they kinda look like green stick bugs, but much cuter, and that makes total sense to me. Bonds are strong and hard to break. Also, an auror sounds kinda cool, does he do you think it’s kinda cool?

Definitely! I’m so excited to be able to be back in Hogwarts with my friends. Though I’ll have to tug along another tote back with little mementos in it, and some clothes, but it’s worth it!!

It feels a lot different compared to America, especially the accent. In Dundee, almost everyone has a Scottish accent, but in Oklahoma a lot of people have more southern accents, which I kinda picked up on, so have fun dealing with that once you can hear me again! Well, if the fact that my baggie is mostly empty and I’ve been stealing some from Mel show anything..they are pretty good! Momma enjoys making things like these. Hey, I’d never turn down a offer of chocolate if you want to send it.

Dear Dakota,

The pictures were amzaing, the place looks so beautiful. I hope you gey to go back next summer, it sounds like you are close to it.

Your family sounds like chaos, if having a larage family means chaos then I don't think i want a large family anymore.... although it hasn't been total chaos here, some of my steo siblings are annoying and obnoxious while others I like to be around.

You have to visit and when you do, I'll show you the bowtruckles and every where else around godric hollow! Maybe I could even visit you... sometime

It feels amzaing! The bowtruckles trickle a little but it feels amazing when their on you! Their eyes say so much and definitely, everything as a story and bonds. It takes one to see what they are.

Are you going to the camp? I can't wait to see you at school, wirting and phone calls are cool but it isn't the same. Right?

Dear Henry,

I am rather close to it. My dad and his sister grew up here, and my grandparents own it still, so it has family roots. The brick house, while old, is really cozy too.

Eh, it all depends. Sometimes most of them are sweethearts, and most of the older people are protective of the younger ones. My cousins kinda go by the “we can mess with her but you can’t”. It’s quiet sometimes, especially when we’re all watching a movie together and eating snacks on the couch, other times it can be a little loud and headache inducing. That’s good that you’re liking being around come of them!

You visiting would be fun! Perhaps sometime around the summer and you could tag along back to the farm. We’ve got quite a few animals around and a lot of the time I end up helping with those or helping my grandma garden.

That’s so cool! I guess it would make sense it kinda tickles, since they’re walking on you and such, and I’m sure they’re a little leafy. That’s awesome, the bond you have with them seems so cool, especially when you can almost understand a animal without them even having to say anything.

I might this year. Last year I didn’t mainly because it seemed a little overwhelming, too many people ya know? I’m excited to see you back at school as well! It certainly isn’t the same to me, as much as I love the hot chocolate my grandparents give me I’d much prefer to be back at Hogwarts with my friends.

Sounds like a deal! I can’t wait to hear your voice again. It feels better when it’s verbal speech.

Dear Dakota,

Big families have their good and bad it seems. At times there is chaos and at other times there is quiet, I think all older siblings are like your cousins. They mess with their yoinger siblings but protect them. I'm not like that, I protect my younger step siblings but don't mess with. Maybe one I mess with but thats it...

In famalies you go through good and bad but in the end all you remember is the good.

That would be brillant if I visited you in Scotland and the farm! I'll love to see and help you gelp your grandmother. Sounds fun and in return you can come to godric hollow and I can show you around and the bowtruckles. Next holiday you should visit then after I visit you...

I'm going to the camp next year as well, maybe but I'm not completely sure. I might stay at home, have to see but maybe we'll both be at cmap next year.
