Yeah, they are working on revamping the dorms and adding descriptions to the non-binary dorms too at the moment
People will be able to change, as far as I know. I'm sure a lot of people will be moving around once it's done.

EDIT: I found out that I'm paired with Lizzy Solace against Pei and Dmitri, the strongest duo in the Slytherin Duelling team! We have like a sixteenth of the spells they have! We're sacrificing ourselves for the good of the team
