Tiny fluff of the moon Pet Solo

The cheerful girl known as Maria had entered the Magical Menagerie with her parents, because today is a special day for her. Today was the day Maria was going to get a pet for her to keep in Hogwarts. However, trying to convince her parents to get her a new pet wasn't easy. Not only were they already taking care of Maria's white cat: Mr. Fluffy at their house. They didn't want to spend more money on getting another pet for Maria.
After sending her parents a lot of begging letters from the Owlery, they gave up to Maria's request.

While in the Magical Menagerie, Maria was looking around at all the cute pets with pure excitement. "Hey mommy. Look at the cute Pygmy Puffs." said Maria.
Maria's mom: Amy just sighed from this, because she knew her daughter is always like this when they see something cute. "I know you think the Pygmy Puffs are cute, Maria. However, remember what we told you in that letter of yours. We are going to get a pet that is around 12 galleons." said Amy.
Maria frowned a bit after her mom reminded her of the money's budget, but she gave her mother a nod of approval.
As that was going on, Maria's father: Damon was staring at the spider section, and then looked at Maria and his wife. "I found the scary giant spider, my little princess. But don't worry, your dad is here to protect you from them." said Damon.
Upon hearing what her dad said, Maria's face blushed from her embarrassment, and covered her face with her hands. "Daddy no!" said Maria.
Maria's mom shook her head in their disappointment when she heard what her husband said. "Please don't tease Maria, Damon, because you know she doesn't like bugs." said Amy.
Maria's dad: Damon walked over to his daughter, and gave her a hug. "I apologize for saying that, but I couldn't help myself with the dad joke." said Damon.
"I forgive you, Daddy, and can we go back to looking for my new pet?" said Maria.
The hugging stopped after Maria said that, and Maria's dad: Damon gave his daughter a pat on the head. "Alright, my little princess." said Damon.

It took a while for Maria and her parents to get to the bunny section, because Maria wouldn't stop looking at the ferrets and the cats. In fact, she tried to get the ferrets' and cats' attention, so they can try to play with her in their cages by trying to get them to follow her hand.
Maria looked at all the bunnies in the bunny section, because she couldn't help herself. "Oh my gosh. They are so cute."said Maria.
As she was walking around, Maria noticed a small black rabbit, so they carefully walked up to that one. This adorable little bunny hopped over to her, and the two of them were staring at each other. "I want this one." said Maria.
Maria's mom: Amy stared at her husband, because she finds this situation kind of ironic. They know about their daughter having a white cat, after all. "What are you going to name them?" said Damon.
"Moonlight if it is a girl, or Shadow if it is a boy." said Maria.
Her father nodded at his daughter, so he went over to the counter with his wife to pay for the rabbit.
