Forest Exploration PV Slytherin & Ravenclaw Cl

Gabriel was a bit upset about having not been given enough time to find a suitable partner, he would have to enter the Forbidden Forest as a group and not be able to go his own way. Otherwise, he was excited, as it would most likely be loads of fun and a learning experience and probably filled with adventure. After all, this was the Forbidden Forest that they were entering, and it was Forbidden for a reason. Gabriel wanted to find out why, but not fully on their little expedition.

After rechecking their bags to ensure the organization and composure of their supplies, the group of Ravenclaws mixed with Slytherins started walking into the Forbidden Forest.

Gabriel strode up towards one of his fellow Ravenclaws. It turned out to be Kient, a guy who he had seen passing in the common room before. “Hey there, umm, Knent - no! Kient... um, Want to be partners on this trip?” Gabriel said to Kient while walking beside him. All of a sudden, Gabriel felt the cold air that wafted throughout the forest ominously hit him. The ground was no longer just damp and soggy, as it had just become rocky-ish and covered in tree roots. The group huddled closer towards each other, but some people still managed to trip on some nearby roots, including Gabriel. Falling down with a thud that sounded painful but really wasn’t, He got up and quickly “dusted” himself off. He then continued forwards, but only doing so after giving a hateful look towards the guilty root.

Action: Talk with Kient in the hopes of gaining a partner for the expedition

Cel looked up sharply with a swift motion of her neck, surprised that someone approached her so soon. Oh, this was a... slightly familiar face, was it not? She'd seen the blonde boy in the Trophy Room, but he'd left pretty quickly.
"Oh, no, I haven't gotten one yet." she replied, doing her best attempt at a smile. She was fairly sure it had succeeded, it was just hard to smile in such a dreary place.
Also, she was still really book-fatigued.
If it had failed, well, Cel hoped her effort would be recognized.. Adam seemed amiable enough... why not? "I'm Celynne-- Cel-- by the way. I guess... we could pair up?" Cel added, slightly more softly, with the shadow of inquiry on her last note.
The young girl noticed the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor coming by out of the corner of her eyes, giving a little oomph as the ivory-haired woman passed and gently pushed her back forward, towards the person she was conversing with. Slightly bewildered, she paused to watch curiously as Professor Scheinberg did the same to another pair, then turned back to Adam. "If you want, anyway," she muttered, barely audible.
He'd asked, at least. That probably meant he wanted to become partners. Hmm... that last sentence was kind of pointless.

As the group entered the Forbidden Forest, Cel felt the familiar prickling sensation of cold goosebumps crawling up her arm. The place was uncanny, not natural... then again, nothing was natural in this blasted magic world. Nevertheless, she would acknowledge the evident beauty of the Forest-- deadly, perhaps, but with an exotic allure that she'd never quite seen before. She cringed as a dried leaf crunched beneath her foot, though the sound was far from prominent in the cacophony of the footsteps in the forest's harmonious silence.

Action: Pair up with Adam Harringtom and enter the Forest.

Marcus nodded with a slight smile to Delilah "Sure we can partner up ,my name is Marcus by the way, shouldn't be to long until we begin" he said then shrugged "Hopefully something interesting happens." He added on to what he said as he looks around into the forest.

"This is going to be pretty creepy, why are we doing this again?" He mumbled looking around as he waited for everyone to start, looking over to his partner "So, while we wait to start, how about we get to know each other a bit more, since we are teaming up and all." He said to his partner, glancing around he decides to get a closer look into the forest, flicking his wrist to summon his wand to his hand from his holster. He looks around, "Lumos" he muttered as a light shines from his wand, taking a few steps forward as he tries to see if anything is watching them from within the forest.

Squinting slightly as he tries to focus and see what is in the forest 'Wouldn't be surprised to see a werewolf or something like that' he thought sliding a hand through his silky black locks with a slight frown.

A strong blast of wind hit Natasha in surprise. She stumbled forward a bit and bumped into someone in front of her. The girl mumbled an apology to the person in front of her and slowly moved back. Her hair was tied up in a loose bun on the top of her head, and her outfit looked like she just went to a funeral - everything was black. Her sweater, her leggings, even her handbag was black. She saw the Slytherin professor pair up a couple of student. Natasha noticed she was one of the only ones without a partner. She looked around and found a small redhead standing alone. They’d never met, so the blonde hoped they could become friends. 

“Hey, I’m Natasha. Do you have a partner? We should be partners. You’re Ravenclaw, right? I don’t think we’ve met! I’m Natasha. Oh wait, I already said that. Oops, sorry.” Natasha rambled on and smiled shyly, her cheeks turning red. 

The trees were unnaturally big, everything was extremely big. Then again, this was the Forbidden Forest. When she first heard about the trek, she though it would be a light and fun walk. Not an uncomfortable trek, in 10 degree weather. She heard a rustle in the wind, but it was just a trick of her mind. Everything around her was dark, and it wasn’t just her outfit. The trees above covered the whole sky with their large branches, and their leaves did not help. Natasha noticed the group had started to move forward, so Natasha started to follow them.

ACTION: Ask Evianna to be partners, then start to move forwards. 

Aravis turned to the blonde boy that had asked to be partners before feeling someone slightly shove her forward. She turned around seeing that it was the Head of Slytherin. She saw her doing the same to others, she figured she was getting impatient. Aravis turned back towards the blonde haired boy in front of her. "Sure! I'm Aravis Escanora, pleasure to meet you!" She chirped with a smile. She was more eager to enter the forest than talk about introductions and formal things. She cast a simple Lumos spell to help her see for when they entered the forest. 

She headed into the Forbidden Forest with a smile. She couldn't wait to see if they could find anything lurking in the shadows. "You know, I heard that some evil creatures live in this forest, feeding on unicorns blood and children that enter it. My Uncle told me it was filled with sorts of things like that! They probably live deeper in the forest, I hope we see something." Aravis said with a much too excited tone while turning towards Alexander. She wondered if he got scared easy. Aravis had seen far too much of the darkness of the world to be afraid of it. She figured the wouldn't see anything within the first bit of the trip, after all they had only just entered. 

Action: Partner up with Alexander and head into the forest.

"Aye, hopefully." She said to his statement on something interesting. And laughing a little when he said it was gonna be creepy, she was a little scared but she hoped it was going to be fun at the same time. She nodded at Marcus when he suggested getting to know eachother. "Yeah sure, umm... What's your favourite class so far? Mine is Charms but I'm not very good at it." She said with a nervous laugh as they looked around the forest around them, but she didn't look too closely so she just watched him mainly, or then others. She didn't have too much to do at that specific moment in time.

"Is it weird that I'm a little scared for this whole exploration? I've heard multiple stories, none of which good, about this forest." She said to Marcus, hoping he didn't think she was strange or something like that. She would rather they got along for the moment. "I mean it's kinda forbidden for a reason." Delilah said with a small laugh, as she took another step into the forest she tripped, but thankfully didn't fall, she managed to regain her balance. She waited quietly a moment for her heartbeat to calm back down again after almost falling over as Marcus checked out the forest with his Lumos spell.

ACTION: Enter the forest

He was going to die. He was going to die here in the forest because professors were incompetent. They were supposed to protect the students, right? They had let in two death witches at various times. They had tried their hardest to turn a blind eye to anything that they had tried to do. Some of the older students had hunted him down, still nothing. And now they paired him up with the most obvious and hard to miss girl in the group? He was going to be found by something and devoured. He couldn't hide like this, not with all these people around. His eyes twitched whenever one of the other students stepped on a branch or let their foot down heavily.
They heard that one and that one and that one and that one... his mind conjured up images of horrific beasts ready to shred them to pieces, conjured an image of the professors apparating away with a wicked grin on their faces. The same beasts that he had hidden from all these years would find him, not because he slipped up but because the people he was with were incompetent, if not purposefully trying to end him.
Kaegen's eyes were speeding up in nervous anxiety, twitching whenever he heard sound, which was often. But his eyes did not seem to translate to the rest of his body, which moved smoothly, not making any jerky motions, making no sound as he moved. He had lived in places like this, albeit with less trees. He had survived by being quiet and unseen, a little boy lurking in the grass and reeds. Could he just go ahead and leave the group? What's the worst thing that could happen if he just up and left? The professors would probably not do anything about it, they never did anything about things like that. Would the professors even care if he didn't stay with his partner?
Kaegen stopped this train of thought, and all the little sub lines connected with it. He would give her and them a honest shot at his. Maybe she had spells he didn't, maybe the professor were going to actually do their jobs for once. Assuming that they were supposed to protect them, anyway.
"Are we bound together?"

Jake was rejected by the Head of House and was sent to be next to Bloom he didn't know her at all but he just knew she was in her classes. He was put next to her by the Head of House, he was really comfortable he never had to pair up with a girl on a adventure through a deadly forest he just thought that it wasn't gonna end well. He looked at her, "Hey I think were partners now if you didn't know already my name is Jake Grimstone I'm a Slytherin as you can see (he pointed at a Snake icon on his clothing). And you must be Bloom Silverton nice to meet you." He stood with his hand's behind his back and his face was looking as confident as the time that he had to do Quidditch Try-outs. 

He stood and looked around the Slytherin Head of House was getting people really close together which looked really uncomfortable for many of the kids. He spaced himself a bit from Bloom so she could have some personal space and breathing room as well. He took his wand out as so many others did, " I think we might need are wand you never know what's in the Forbidden Forest." He saw Sergei talking then said to go in he looked straight and started walking next to Bloom, he looked nervous but he was ready to face anything in there whatever was in there.

ACTION: Pair up with Bloom (Forcefully) and walk in to the Forbidden Forest.

 

Walking into the outskirts of the Forbidden Forest with both classes, Bloom was feeling much more comfortable with the fact that she was going somewhere dangerous next to her Head of House. Staying quiet and not saying much of a word, she began to people watch and see how there were some Slytherins and Ravenclaws acting awkward in which they would not find themselves partners or they stuck to their own. A thought had crossed Bloom's mind, thank goodness I'm not with a Slytherin. Unfortunately, she spoke too soon.

Bloom, staring at the ground as she was walking, looked up to find Professor Scheinberg heading her way with a Slytherin boy. Knocking him against her, she found her footing and brushed off her arm in annoyance. Bloom was definitely not a fan of the new Slytherin Head of House. She was much more forceful and she heard a lot more difficult in class than Sawyer ever was.

Bloom looked at the boy with glasses and looked at his robes that he pointed out when he introduced himself. Great... she said, looking at the snake emblem on his robes. Oddly enough, he seemed to know who she was without her introducing herself. She shrugged the thought of how he knew of her and decided it was best that they kept walking with the group before they fall behind or get lost.

"I've seen an acromantula. Well, not in the forest but near it in the Herbology area. I bet it came from the forest," she said, trying to act cool, but slowly losing it remembering her accident with the acromantula and Reid Kovacs a few months back. It still felt as though it was a dream. Bloom nodded at the fact that wands should be at the ready. She took out her 31.7 cm cherry wood and unicorn haired wand and held it as if her life depended on it.

She noticed that the Slytherin had given her some space when walking into the forest. Perhaps he had more empathy than the other Slytherins she had gotten to know in the past. She decided it could be best to get to know him a little better-- they both were partners after all and for who knows how long.

"So... Grimstone, what do you like to do for fun?" she asked, breaking the ice.

ACTION: Forcefully pair up with Jake Grimstone and walks into the Forbidden Forest.

Alexander would shake the hand of Aravis if she extended any and would say with a smile "Alexander Varellion and it is a pleasure to meet you too." He would also go a bit forward and would look back a little annoyed to see who had shoved him but would then soon see that it was professor Scheinberg. Seeing Aravis cast a Lumos spell herself Alexander kept his wand inside his wrist holder seeing as Aravis was already creating enough light for the both of them.

Alexander would then get excited and a little scared as Aravis told him a few stories about the forest and could start to feel his heart beat harder as adrenaline was pumped into his veins. When she finished speaking Alexander nodded "I also heard that there were Werewolves, vampires and even giant spiders in the forests. Maybe even some centaurs and giants too. Incredible how many different creatures live inside of this forest isn't it ? And I do hope to see something cool. Otherwise this trip would just be a regular trip around the woods and wouldn't be really exciting would it ?"

Alexander would also sometimes look around the forest trying to see if he could discern anything that might be of intrest to him or a threat. It never hurt to be prepared after all and even when he sometimes felt a little scared when he felt his wand inside his wand holder he was comforted a little more.

Action: partner up with Aravis Escanora and to see if he can perceive anything dangerous or interesting
