A cruel laugh left the boy's arched face. He got an Ouija board from his twin when he arrived at Hogwarts after Christmas Break. Mentally thanking Freddy, and not physically, Cody took the ouija board, and went to the Rehersal Room. Knowing that he probably would've been caught, the young Part Goblin ran as fast as he could run, just to get to the room. Even if it was huge. He opened the doors, and looked around, wishing the room was darker, as if it was pitch black. Cody closed the drapes, set up a small table, small enough to fit the ouija board upon, and sent out owls to one person. Henry Knight. In other words, he was basically alone, and was very unsure whether Henry would come to something that could be considered demonic by muggles.

The owl simply said, "Come down to the Rehersal Room, and explore the great mysteries we have laying here. Let your questions be answered in a ghoulish way. It's time for some haunting. If you're in, then come on down. - Anonymous."

He pulled out two chairs, one was a toddler sized chair, and without even admitting it, he knew it was smaller than the others, and a lot shorter, but it at least gave him a seat. The others were by a window, whereas the ouija board, two chairs, the table, were in the middle of the Rehearsal Room.

He had a rulebook that came with it, six rules it contained.

With her belly filled with food, Samantha had left the Great Hall. There was still enough time before curfew and she had already finished all her homework. In her dorm, there was a lovely book that she wanted to read later that evening, but the brunette didn't want to go back to her dorm just yet. It was too early to curl up at the fireplace and read the book. There were so many other things she could do right now.

Hoping to come across another student in the hallway, Samantha wandered around the castle. She didn't have a specific place she wanted to be, so she just went wherever her journey lead her. If one of the stairs decided to move, she would just go with it.

Maybe it was fate, or maybe it was just a coincidence (probably the latter), but Samantha ended up in front of the rehearsal room. At first, she had just wanted to pass the room, but then she saw it was darker than usual. It looked like somebody had closed the curtains, which was quite odd. For most performing arts you needed light, at least those Samantha was familiar with.

Her curiosity had been sparked and now she wanted to know what was going on. She peeked from behind the door, showing only her head to anyone who may be inside. It was hard to see the inside of the room, which was only lit by the candles, but Samantha did notice some movement in the middle of the rehearsal room. It was a small figure that was moving, and it took Samantha a while to figure out it was Cody.

Samantha quietly watched, as the boy she had dueled against pulled out two chairs and place them in the middle of the room. If Cody would look her way, he would only see her head peeking in the room. "Hey, what are you doing? Are you going to perform something?" she asked loudly as she slowly walked to the door. She was still standing in the hallway, but now the boy would be able to see more than just her head.

The brunette wondered if the boy would recognize her, after all, they had only seen each other a couple of times and she was still wearing her school uniform. With her hair in a low ponytail, she looked like every other student when you looked at first.

The teen skipped out on dinner, choosing to hear Rose's words later on eating then actually eating that night.

Tucked away in a corner of the library, a stacks of books covering the table. Surrounding the third year. Loki stretched out, laying ontop of the table watching his onwer with amber eyes. Henry's blue gaze scanning each word, soft fingers turning each page. The read in silence, the lack of sound brought him peace.

"Excuse me, are you Henry Knight?"

The teen looked up, distracted from the bool he was reading on transfiguration. Anxiety thundering above with being bothered as he read. Loki let out a low hiss to the student who stood in front of the pair holding a note, a student that neither of them have seen before. Henry nodded softly.

"This is for you, a owl brought it. Bye!"

The student dropped the note onto his open book then ran off, Henry found the interaction strange. Placing the book down to pick up the note, Henry read. The words sounded strange as his mind swelled with who couls have worte it to him. He didn't think he had that many friends but the lad would be wrong with that fact since he does have a few.

The teen decided that it was from one of the boom members. The wording of the note soudned cloest to one of the following group members.

Rising from his chair, Henry started to put the books away. His memory severing well in the action. Having put all the books away in their correct area after 30 minutes, the teen whistled once. Loki came running toward his onwer, jumped then crawl up to Henry's right shoulder where the feline sat.

The pair walked through the library then through the numerous corriors and up a few stairs.

Getting closer to the rehearsal room, the teen found that it is rather dim than usual. Sniffing for a moment, reorganizing Cody's scent and another one. Strangely familiar but still unknown.

Rounding the corner, the teen entered the rehearsal room to find Cody at a table with a muggle ouija board and Sam standing in the room. Henry softly smiled to each as he spoke"Hey mates," eyes flickering toward the board as he spoke"why do you have the muggle board, mate? Is that what the note was about?"

Hildegard was trying some shortcuts to go back the her common room, this one time after diner she tried a shortcut that went near the Rehearsal Room.
She had never went inside of the Rehearsal Room so when she got near it she decided to enter the room.
It was just curiosity, but what made her stay was not curiosity, it was love of boards games.
Hilda loved them, she often played them with Vale Ashwood on her free time, and seeing this one game exposed at the center was enough to make her stay.
She looked around her, seeing Cody, Samantha and Henry, thinking it was a rather strange group of friend.
Were they friends that were ashamed of their friendship ? Ashamed of their love of this game ? Or maybe were they part of a club ?
The young girl puzzled asked them :

-What are you guys doing here ?

-Is this a broad game ? Can I play too ? I love them ! She added.

The disabled girl got closer and putted her hand on one of the chairs waiting their approval before sitting.
Of course she was not the best of friend with any of them, but like with Vale she just needed them to play with her.
Maybe playing it regularly would allow Hildegard to form some deep bond with people ? In a way she would finally be able to call someone a friend ?

In the midst of his... moving things around... Cody finally got a chance to settle down. To take a breather. To calm his nerves once and for all. and he heard a voice, someone familiar? Yes? No? Was it a ghost that Hogwarts had? It was a rather old school after all.

It was Samantha! Not that Cody knew her too well, as they met once or twice, the only time Cody recalled meeting her was at the Talent Show.

"Of course, well, I mean, Come in! I'm not getting ready for a performance... so to speak... but more of a performance of craziness." Cody had to say that, with a dumb smart-alecky look on his face that probably could've made his height resemble one of a toddler in a distance.

His friend came in, and at this point, Cody realized he wasn't allergic to cats, due to what happened with @Eliza Corrid outside, when a cat came by. He realized Freddy lied to Cody.

"Hey Henry! And to answer both of yer questions, this is something called an Ouija board. Doesn't it look simple? Well- before w-" Cody started, but cut himself off midsentence, when he saw the girl who wanted Cody to harm a so called bully, when the bully was really just a victim, at least due to Cody's opinion of @Avery Chen

"I'll let you join in Hildy, if you promise not to slaughter us!"

Samantha hesitantly entered the room after Cody invited her. "Craziness, you say?" She hoped that didn't equal any rule-breaking. In the few interactions she had with Cody, he seemed like a chaotic boy that wasn't afraid to break any rules. Samantha could clearly remember Cody asking somebody to duel him in the great hall. "Nothing bad, right?"

The two students were soon joined by a third. "Hi Henry," the brunette said with a little smile. Samantha hadn't even noticed the board until Henry mentioned it. "What note?" she asked curiously. She was a very curious kid and always wanted to know everything that was going on.

Cody started to explain about the Ouija board, which Samantha had heard of but never used before, when he cut himself off. The young girl followed the Hufflepuff's gaze, which lead her to Hildegard. When the girl Samantha had dueled against asked what they were doing, Samantha wasn't sure how to answer. Luckily for her, Cody responded saying something about no slaughtering.

Samantha wanted to sit down, but she noticed that there were only two chairs at the little table, one normal-sized and one toddler-sized chair. "I am going to get two chairs for me and Hildegard, after that you can explain the game further," she told Cody as she walked away. Samantha got two chairs from the window and walked back with them to the table in the middle of the room. She placed the two chairs around the table and sat down on one of them, leaving the other for Hildegard.

Henry offered a soft smile toward Sam as he spoke"hey," then heard her question as he continued"someone gave me a note in the library from someone else asking me to come here," sending Cody a look to let the first year know that Henry knew he sent the note before listening to the game and rules of the game explained.

Loki flick his tail, staying high on his onwer's right shoulder. Henry cast a look toward Sam before back at Cody, wondering if the hufflepuff is aware there are ghosts that wander the corridors nearly everday to talk to making the board not really helpful.... keeping his thoughts to himself when he heard a voice and turned to face the door.

Slytherin first year, Hildegard Schneider stood there asking to join. Cody reponsed first and as Sam went to get extta chair, Henry walked over to Hildegard with a soft smile as he spoke"I know you and Avery don't have the best relationship
and Avery is very dear to me but I don't let others dertmine my own relationships,"
the third year understands that one makes mistakes in their first year bur thise times shouldn't define them as a whole.

Holding out a hand toward the girl as he spoke"so what do you say, friends?" A part of him did want to help the girl, he saw something within her that wasn't completely bad and knew in only time her moment will come. Loki however thought different, leaping from his onwers shoulder and going for his chair.

Loki sat up in Henry's chair in-between Cody and Hildegard. However, Henry showed no emotion on his face but within he is concern for the slytherin first year using crutches. Eyeing the girl, looking for a way to help as he spoke"is there anyway I can help you?"

Hildegard had a cramped laugh at Cody's comment, as she always believed her side to be the justified one.

-I will only slaughter those who cheats, the spirit might tho? she replied with a teasing tone.

After listening to the rules, Hildegard sat down the chair that Samantha had taken for both of them, giving a head sign and a smile to the Ravenclaw.

-Thanks, she whispered.

Immediately after she placed her finger on the planchette prepared to start the game.
She was however interrupted by Henry who she listened carefully.
In her eyes Henry was definitely Avery's friend, even if she did not know to which extend their friendship went to.
What he said required the girl to think quite a lot, she knew about the saying "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" but what about an enemy's friend ?
Making every friends of an enemy an enemy would probably lead her to make only enemies. But making Henry a friend ? Wouldn't it eventually lead to some drama in the long run because of Avery?

She made her mind and replied :

-Screw Avery, he is not going to dictate who I can be friend with ! But friend... I don't know, how about we ask the spirit's opinion about it ?

She was trying to evade taking responsibility for her answer so instead of shaking the Slytherin's hand she invited him to put his finger on the planchette.

-Spirit I know that you are here ! Do you think Henry and I should be friend ? She asked waiting the other to put their finger on the planchette too.

Henry kindly answered Samantha's question. The answer contained a lot of someone's and didn't make the situation clear for her. "Well, that's still pretty vague if you haven't noticed that already. I mean someone could be anybody, but I assume one of those someones is Cody?" she said with a little smile.

As soon as she noticed Henry's cat the smile disappeared again. Why did that cat always have to be there? She had a pet, but she didn't take Amenadiel everywhere. Samantha quickly took a step away from the cat and Henry. "Do you really bring that thing, I mean, cat everywhere?" she asked, clearly not in the best mood. Samantha was completely honest if something was on her mind, but she never means to hurt people.

After Hildegard thanked her for the chair, Samantha followed the girl's lead and placed her finger on the planchette. The brunette listened to the conversation between the first and third year and just had to join in and give her opinion. "How can one not have a good relationship with Avery? He is really nice!" she said indignantly. The first time they had met, she had thought he was a bit weird, just running off after she saved him, but he turned out to be a nice kid. "I mean, yeah, it wasn't the nicest that he ran away when we first met, but he is very funny and he even helped me catch a pumpkin! There also was this other guy who helped with the pumpkin, I think it was his friend, Matt something, Matthew it was!" Samantha was completely sidetracked and her mind wandered off to the pumpkin chase.

Only when Hildegard asked the spirit if she and Henry should be friends, Samantha paid attention to the game again.

Henry couldn't help a smile toward Hildegard's comment about the spirits, it was a bit humorous even he had to admit it.

The teen nodded toward Sam's comment as he watched Cody bid his farewells then leave, Henry pulled at his sleeve. Uncomfortable a little but took a breath and went over to take a seat between the two students. Loki sitting up on the fourth, was empty chair with his amber eyes peering over at the table and board.

Henry heard Sam's comment about Loki, looking down at his feline as he softly smile before speaking"Loki usually goes everywhere with me," the teen never thought much on the following fact. Loki went most places with the third year which usually helped increased his own confidence.

Listening to Hildegard, the teen nodded gald that there wasn't anything between them because of Avery as he spoke"if not friends than maybe study partners? I hear your a prodigy in charms to," it wasn't everday that the third met another who enjoyed learning charms a year ahead of them so he took the moment as he saw it. The teen smilwd softly at lettinf the spirits decide ans went over to the table. Taking a seat between the two others as Loki jumped up and sat in thr empty chair, watching the scene with amber eyes.

Henry heard Sam's voice, his eyes found hers as he lightly shook his head. The teen found it better not to mention it, letting the air clear and for a interaction to emerge not based off of another person.

Henry listened to Hildegard's question then read over the rules as he spoke"it says that we all need to have our hands on the glass piece and move it in a circle," Henry looked questioning at the two girls but would placed his hands on the piece and move it in a circle around the board with the others.

Carefully the teen would lightly push it toward the word 'yes' on the board.
