This thread is a detention thread that is private to @Habib Acropolis and @Hildegard Schneider .

Location: Hogwarts OwleryIt had been difficult for the fourteen-year-old to come up with an idea for a detention. She didn't usually give out detentions aside for those disciplining extreme offences - she was beginning to care less, for instance, if someone was out past curfew, since then it was their fault if something happened to them - but she couldn't have let those kids keep fighting. So she had stood in the owlery for a while a week ago, actually, thinking about owling her family, when she'd tripped over a disgusting-looking ball on the ground, and then an idea had come to mind.
They would be cleaning up owl pellets. Koko was nice enough to not make them dissect them and report their findings - there were certainly prefects who would make them do that - but it would not be easy. Koko figured they needed to learn something from their detention, so she formulated a plan.
Her owl read as written below:
Dear Miss Schneider and Mr Acropolis,
On the 9th of January at 15:00, you'll have a detention in the owlery. You'll be cleaning up owl pellets, but you will both need to work together to do so. No magic will be used, so I will collect your wands when you enter. I will further explain everything when you arrive.
I hope you both learn something from this experience.

She meant to have them devise a plan together. She'd brought parchment, quills and ink up to the owlery, as well as a spare folding table she'd found in an unused classroom. She set it up quickly, knowing that one of the students might arrive early, and once it was all set up, it really did look quite nice - but hopefully not intimidating.
Koko sat on a windowsill and glanced out of the paneless windows. Perhaps this wasn't the best spot after all. She'd have to keep a close eye on these windows - they were really very dangerous.
If they got any ideas, Koko would... She would... Well, she would give them a very stern talking-to. And maybe find a way to glue them together so that neither could push the other out the window.
She sighed to herself and glanced at her watch - it was fifteen till.
When they arrived, Koko would stand from her seat on the window and smile at them. 'Nice to see you both today,' she would say, and then she would tilt her head and her smile would fade just a bit. 'I'll get to the point. Both of you are going to formulate a plan to pick up owl pellets. I do not want one of you doing all the work - you are going to evenly split it using this paper -' She pointed. '- over here. Once you've made a plan, bring the paper to me, and then I'll approve it so you can get started.'
She paused for a moment and then smiled. It was still genuine. 'Please try to get along.'OOC:

Hilda had cried a lot after getting her detention, because she thought of it as unfair.
She believed she did nothing wrong, she was minding her own business until one of her classmate came to annoy her for some unknown reason, ending up punching her.
What if she hated her mother ? What if she insulted her ? It was a family matter so the rude one was this Greek guy who got mad about it.
Hildegard came to the Owlery already tired, with all those stairs and a disability no wonder.
The girl barely listened to Koko's instruction as she was recovering,
-Did she ask us to come here of all place on purpose ? It's a pain ! Why not the library or something like that ? No, it had to be the hightest place of Hogwarts ! Have some compassion for me by Merlin's beard ! She complained internally.
- Get along with him ? Someone who has no issue attacking a disable ? Hell no !, She then thought when the Amber eyed girl finished.
She looked at the piece of paper, then switched to her partner's face with disgust.
She knew it, she would have to play pretend, but it did not mean she would have to interact a lot with Habib, she refused to do so.
Hildegard ignored whatever Habib was doing and got on the ground, putting her crutches behind her and started to write down a plan to complete this stain that only an house-elf should be doing, planning to write down only her part and wait for the monster boy to complete with his part.

Habib was livid detention, for what showing that brat her place. Habib wanted to voice his thoughts but he decided to be cunning about it and graciously accept his punishment saying things like "I sincerely apologize, " and how he understood what he had done wrong. Of course, Habib had no such feelings but he would let the prefect believe that he did. Habib smiled discreetly when he heard the girl gripe about having to come all the way up here, oh if only she knew what was in store for her. Habib of course pretended that he had every intention of working and cooperating with Hildegard. While he already had devised a plan and an alibi. Once Perfect Riddle had left Habib turned to Hildegard and proposed a plan to her he said "Listen, Schneider, neither of us wants to be here so I have an idea. Here's the plan we cover you in bird seeds I let out an owl mating call to attract them this way they all come in and eat all of the seeds without us having to lift a finger. And before you deny this will work owls are intelligent enough to realize that you are there and these are Hogwarts owls I have credible proof that they have been trained to never harm a student all we have to do is make sure your Slytherin crest is visible." Habib, of course, was making most of this up he had no idea whether Hogwarts trained their owl or not Habib also had never done a mating call for an owl he had seen his mother do it but never done it himself. Habib planned that he would be able to get some evidence of this situation to hold over Schneiders head he was also kind of hoping that she would get pecked like crazy and with his experiences as a child those beaks were SHARP not to mention all the wings flapping in her face and the claws, either way, this could only end well.

Habib's plan sounded genuinely fishy, it sounded like a plan from one of those muggle cartoon that Hilda never watched and therefore could not point her finger at.
It did not surprise the disable girl that much, it was a circusy plan from a circus boy.
-Still did not get it Frog eyes ? I am disable, something like that is too risky for me ! You cover yourself with bird seed not me ! She whispered to him with her little German accent.
Hildegard really started to get desperate on how kids of her age never had any consideration for people like her, even with all the fishiness of that plan.
However the disable kid had listened to Koko and knew that they would have to present her the plan before trying it out anyway.
So she wrote down the plan while still going to complain about it and refusing it in front of her prefect, only to annoy Habib.
It was not like she had anything to lose anyway since she was already in detention and by complaining she did nothing wrong.
The Slytherin girl sighed as she had to take her crutches again, and went to Koko's location, at least close enough so she could hear her.
-Miss Riddle ! Habib is trying to get way less work than me ! And his plan is fishy ! the mean girl complained with her whiny voice, after which she explained Habib's plan.

She wasn't entirely sure what to believe, so as she lurked near a candle, she made sure to keep an eye on both of them - she didn't want any more fighting, no matter who started it.
She was passively observing when she noticed Hildegard turning. Koko quickly lifted her head, trying to look more alert, and she smiled warmly at the girl on crutches. A pang of guilt struck her chest for making her travel so far for the detention, but if anything, she hoped that the memory would remind Hildegard that duelling wasn't always the answer.
(Koko did wonder about the full story, though.)
'"Way less work", huh?' Koko frowned. That definitely wasn't okay. Koko nodded for Hildegard to go on and listened intently.
A fishy plan didn't sound good even at first, but as Hildegard explained, Koko's frown deepened. It wasn't that difficult to have basic human decency, right? Sending birds after anyone was mean. Koko bit back a shudder at the thought of having hungry owls pecking at her.
'I'm going to veto that plan if you two decide to go through with it,' she said, this time mostly speaking to Habib. 'Please try to find one that does not involve possible risk of bodily harm. I can't guarantee that the owls won't turn vicious, and I also don't think that possibly spilling bird seed all over the floor is "cleaning".' Koko's frown twisted into a wry grin at that.
'If you want help,' she added, now addressing both of them, 'I'm here. This is meant to help you two get along, not necessarily punish you.'
There. Sometimes Koko was too honest, but she felt honesty was warranted in this instance. They deserved to know she didn't really mean to punish them and that detention could be used for other purposes. As disgusting as owl pellets were, it would take working together to come up with the least-disgusting plan... And from what Koko had seen and heard, these two really needed to learn how to work together.

Habib finally got it into his head that oh perhaps holding a continuous grudge wasn't a good idea. He turned to Hildegard his face a mask of calm and control. "Schneider I apologize for trying to get you pecked by birds." He then turned to the Prefect "Can you give us some hints on what we should use as a plan. Because at this rate we'll be here for a very long time." Habib decided that he would just have to clean the muggle way he picked up a broom and began to sweep this was tedious it seemed the only way to do this working with Hildegard couldn't happen he may have stopped trying to harm her now but that didn't mean they were on good terms more of an unofficial truce was what Habib was trying to say with his prior statement. Habib was hoping Hildegard got the message that no he didn't want to fight her right now but with Hildegard, you could never tell where she understood what you were saying and just didn't care or she was just ignoring you. Habib continued to clean silent and subdued, while thinking of ways he could make the chamber of secrets more homey like it had the right ambience all you have to do was get a sofa and some calamari and the place could be real hideout he looked up to see what hildegard was doing.
