The Blackmail of Rachel's Tears
"Ah. No. Uh. No. I'm good. Ta be honest I came in here because I was lost. This place is still a maze to me. Maybe ya can show me around, or we could go ya your favorite spot? Up ta ya Mia Alexander."
The girl-Lu-took a step back and opened the cracked and chipped door. Mia smiled. She was beginning to like this Lu even more. She seemed a bit tough, but really nice.
"I was always lost when I first came here too. Now I've learned a bit."
Mia smiled and stepped out side the door.
"Thanks for holding the door."
Mia started walking, leaving Lu to catch up with her. Her feet slapped the wooden ground harshly and paintings turned to stare. Mia kept walking.
"Where do you want to go? One of my favorite places to go is the corridors on the second floor, or the trophy room on the third floor."
Mia looked at her watch, thinking of whether the corridors would be empty now. It was mid day, and many people were in class. While she was thinking, Mia stopped walking, partially so that she wouldn't trip, and partially to let Lu catch up.

The Blackmail of Rachel's Tears
Lu couldn't really imagine Mia getting lost here. She assumed that anyone who grew up with magic had some sort of homing sense, like pigeons.
Lu silently laughed at the mental imagine. Wizard pigeons.
'No prob!' She said, letting the door swig closed behind them. Vaguely Lu wondered if all Wizard bathrooms looked so grand. Maybe Mia would know.
Speaking of Mia, that girl could go fast. Lu almost tripped over herself trying to catch up. The painting they walked back stared and Lu wanted to shutter. Moving paintings were still a bit creepy. It reminded her of Scooby Doo, but in a not as fun as she thought it would be way.
'Where do you want to go? One of my favorite places to go is the corridors on the second floor, or the trophy room on the third floor.' Mia asked, glancing at her watch and finaly stopping her mini marathon.
Lu made a show of seriously considering it, but there was no doubt she'd agree. If Lu wanted to become a big part of Mia's life, she'd have to let Mia take the reigns most of the time.
Lu could play the sidekick role well.
'Sure!' She nodded, standing as close to Mia as she could do without seeming weird. 'Ya seemed ta have good taste.'

"Sure! Ya seemed ta have good taste."
The girl nodded and stepped closer to Mia, not abnormally close, but too close for Mia's comfort level. Mia stepped back and smiled at her, trying to tell her: You did nothing wrong but I'm just really awkward and I dont like people standing too close to me its not your fault please don't run away. That was a lot to say in a gaze. Mia hoped Lu would understand.
"Not a decisive one. Don't worry, I'm not either."
Mia shrugged and pulled a coin out of her pocket. Running her finger over it, she changed the silver side to say trophy room and the gold side to say corridors. Then remembering the girl was Muggle born, Mia explained herself.
"I linked part of my frontal lobe-part of my brain-and this coin with a Protean Charm. I'm extremely indecisive so this was an obvious choice for me."
Mia shrugged and flipped the coin. It landed in the center and rolled for a bit, before stopping, still in an upright position. Mia bent down to retrieve the coin.
"That means that it wants you to choose another location."-Mia sighed and adjusted her hair-"It's getting so tempermental now!"
Mia gazed up at Lu.
"So, pick a room. Any room in the castle."
