When you get a letter telling you you are a witch and that you are going to a school of magic, your first thought is probably not about stress, homesickness, or anxiety. Yet, that was exactly how Lizzy was feeling in that moment. She had never been away from home for this long, and she barely had a moment to think about that with the schoolwork that was steadily piling up in her dormitory.

This was all muddling her mind and she needed a second to just let it all go. To forget about all of that, even if she'd have to come back to reality sooner or later. Even thinking about it was making Lizzy want to run away from it. So she did. Her idea of getting away from it was going to the Great Hall for some reason, unbeknownst to her.

The Great Hall was interesting to the young Gryffindor because of what you could see if you stopped moving when the rest of the world around continued on. Here she was, sitting alone against one of the walls, putting her life on halt and taking the free time to watch other people's lives go on busily.

A cluster of Ravenclaws passed just then, talking in a tight knit circle. Across the room from Lizzy, there was a Slytherin looking intensely at a notice tacked up on the wall. A few Hufflepuffs and Gryffindors were clustered about, talking to their friends about their days. Lizzy just sat there silently observing each group.

This was mildly ridiculous though. Lizzy had gotten stressed out plenty of times, but every time had a reoccurring pattern. She ended up convincing herself that she didn't have the time nor energy to become stressed. It was odd, but it worked. So why was this time any different? Why couldn't she convince herself that she was fine?

Anna was getting very much busy nowadays, yes that's tough. Majority says, she can be seen moving from the library to the girl's dormitory or vice versa. She wasn't good at practicals either, which made her practice for around 16 hours or more!
One day, Anna was in the similar situation. But this time she was running from place to place.
"What the hell! I can't do it anymore." Anna said, irritated plus exhausted.
"Need a break." Anna mumbled to herself.
She went out of the library and started moving here and there, expecting to find someone to spend her time with. Suddenly, she came to a hault. She was in the Small Hall, but it wasn't the hall which distracted her, something else did.
She saw Lizzy, one of her friends, observing the other students doing their work.
"She must be also taking a break." Anna thought.
She made her way to Lizzy.
"Hello Lizzy!" Anna said, with a friendly smile, her cheeks turning light pink. This thing always happened with her, whenever she wanted to start a conversation.
Normally, she looked pale, when bored and scared.
Her cheeks gets red whenever angry.
And, her cheeks turn pink whenever shy or happy.

"Hello Lizzy!" a voice came from above her. She looked up to see a friend of hers, Anna Washington, standing above her. Anna was a Hufflepuff, and very friendly as far as Lizzy could tell. "Hey Anna," she replied. "Why don't you sit down?" It had been making her feel a bit awkward having Anna stand over her like that.

Lizzy had never been very good at letting people know when she needed help or if she was hurting. Right now, she probably could have used a friend's help, but she was too stubborn to ask for it. Instead, she just smiled at Anna and hoped that she wouldn't notice Lizzy's inner troubles.

She decided to start a conversation to divert the attention from her troubles. "So, how are you doing today?" In her view, it was a rather weak attempt, but still an attempt. Lizzy let her head fall back to rest on the wall she was leaning up against. She closed her eyes for a moment and then reopened them, turning her full attention to Anna.

Perhaps the conversation alone would be enough to distract Lizzy. Either way, it would be nice to let go of her stress if only for a little while. She wondered vaguely how Anna was managing her classes, extracurriculars (if any), and other things like hanging out with friends. No matter, there was a conversation to pay attention to. Lizzy was determined not to let her mind run wild right now.
