Cody Stevenson, a young part goblin who has a ton of brothers and struggles to show respect towards others, has no idea why he became a Hufflepuff. It was a confusing time for him, and he still managed to stick with it. He tries to prove himself worthy, not that it ever does him any good. He joined Dueling and plans on getting revenge. A cruel Hufflepuff, isn’t the only type there is out there. I invite you to explore and make your own type of character. Make your own story!

But first, we kindly suggest that you read through some IMPORTANT pages, before your adventure begins! Let’s begin with the Basic Site Rules, as it condenses our expectations both on HiO and on Discord, should you join it.

The second thing I’ll ask you to read is our Site Rating. It gives our expectations of roleplaying onsite, especially since not all of our users are thirty something years old, some of us are under eighteen, and we don’t want to read about stuff that exceeds our rating. That does end up with your post being deleted. If not banned, according to the Site Rating. We want to have fun onsite, and that is our basic guide!

Ok, I'm sure you were anticipating this! This is one of our most populated questions people ask, "When do we start classes? How do we start classes?" I say, good question.

When do we start classes? How do we start classes?
---1) You start in ten days OOC should you want to do homework, and you also have to have 20 posts. Posting in the Game Room doesn't provide posts, but posting in OOC Lets Chat! provides a post, rping provides a post.
---2) Once your report card is unlocked, homework is PURELY OOC, and by doing it before you graduate, you might earn the spells, as long as you don't make a "T".
---3) You could instead, learn the spells and potions, or even just the lessons, and see what Professors might want to RP with you, giving you an IC lesson and you learn the spell.
---4) You could have a Prodigal Charms | Prodigal DADA | Prodigal Transfiguration | Prodigal Potions (I might be forgetting some, but uh- ) and learn spells a year ahead of you. IE, you could be a first year, with the Prodigal DADA ability, and on top of first year DADA spells you learn (Periculum, Verdimillious, Fumos, Flipendo, and Mucus Ad Nausuem) you could write a rp for DADA where you learn second year DADA spells (Mimblewimble, Bluebell Flames, Obscuro, Expelliarmus) making you slightly more able to do things, even in dueling or our new sport, Broom Racing.
