Nerds and Chaos go well together pv Henry K.

Henry found his days taken up with dueling practices, club meetings, wolf united, reading ahead in classes, learning fourth year charms, and now boom meetings. With all these new activities, the third year is able to be more socially active and make new friends but spend less time in his favorite place at Hogwarts. The library.

Henry found a little bit of free time after classes and a boom meeting one day, choosing not meet with friends and instead ahead toward the library. He still kept his goal in reading every book in the place before the last day of his seventh year.

Pushing the doors open and walking through, Loki by his side as usual. Henry took a breath, a sensation of comfort and warmth washed over him. It was perfect.

Henry started to walk through the library, bringing his blue gaze to the shelves looking for a book. The teen already finished his homework for all of his classes early and learned quite a bit of fourth year charms for dueling that now he can relax and choose a book that he desires to read.

Finding the aisle that contains books on ancient ruins, the third slipped into the row of books not noticing his fellow boom member and friend. Cody Stevenson. The hufflepuff who has a mischievous and cruel side about him at the library as well. Henry ran a hand along the spines of the book, looking for one as Loko at the front of the row. The feline spotted Cody and flick his tail.

Looking at the books, running his hand along the spine until stopping at inr and pulling it out.

The third year crack the book open, breathing in the smell as he read the first few pages when a voice distracted him.

Looking up, his boue gaze landed on Cody who seemed to apology? Or apologied about being rude to him but not being rude? The firsy year is a strange one.

Loki hissed a little at Cody when the hufflepuff walked by, the feline never did like loud noises. Loki ran to his onwer, jumping up then crawling up his oant leg to sit on Henry's right shoulder as he listened to the hufflepuff.

"I can help you, I finishes my ages ago and don't have much to do," Henry replied with a soft smile. The third year aleays did enjoy helping his friends, especially when it came to homework since he found classes and thr assignments easy at times.

Henry listened to Cody, the third year didnt know much about the short boy. He met him from BOOM and hasn't spent much time around him unlike the rest of the members who he seen quite a lot. Henry nodded toward Cody, decideing to walk back to the hufflepuffs table with him as he replied"I'll help you and we'll have your work done in no time, mate," finding a seat next to Cody at the table.

Henry placed his book in front of him, Loki jumped off his right shoulder and sat on top of the book. Henry starched his feline's ears as he spoke"you have a twin?" Giving Cody enough time to answer before he would continue"I'm a twin to," the words burned hus tongue. Henry felr awlful saying- admitting that. His twin was missing. And Henry was no where near close to finding her.... or the Knights.

Henry held the book underneath on arm, ears catching Cody's words as he asked"is that gobbledegook?" However wpild he caught off guard by Cody's remark, Loki swiping at the short boy's leg as he walked toward Henry. Jumping up and landing on his right shoulder, where he sat out of reach of Cody.

"It's only Loki, mate," Henry replied calmly as he followed Cody toward the table. Taking a seat besides the boy, Loki remained on Henry shoulder as he placed the book in front of himself on the table.

Henry listened to Cody's concerns, smiling toward his friend as Loki hoped off his owners shoulder and sat in the chair besides Henry bit away from Cody.

Henry waited for the hufflepuff to finish before he spoke"calm down, Code. I'll help you, if you want to start with the levitating charm than let's start with that. We won't cast it on a living person, instead we'll practice on books but I think maybe we should start without wands so then you'll cast it better later," the teen enjoysd helping his friends, usually offering to teach them new spells and give them assignment tips or offer to resd over thier essays.

At mention of his twin, Henry thought of Annabeth. It's been a while since he talked about her, most wouldn't have known that the boy was a twin since he hardly spoke about her and she is also missing.

The thought of her allowed Henry to breath, turing toward Cody as he spoke"that's alright, will you like to talk about your twin?" the topci changed to studying and spell practicing, Henry kept his eyes on Cody as he spoke"We'll practice on the books but first wand down so we can practice the pronunciation and incantation so nothing does explode."

"Your twin gets on your nerves to then, uh?"

Henry asked smiling a little, flashes of memories pass by his mind's eye. Annabeth knew exactly how to get a reaction out of Henry and he knew how ti make her tick. The two constantly bickered and engaged in fights. Smiling at those days, Henry remembered how much he wished them to end but now he wanted nothing more than to bicker with her again.

Eyes dartimg back toward Cody, Loki sitting on Henry's shoulder lightly nipping his ear as a distraction. The teen smiled toward his word as he spoke"that's very cool that your open about being part goblin and don't care what others think, I wish I had your confidence mate." Softly smiling at the first year as his mind jumped back to the topic. Practice specifically charms.

Henry listened to Cody's pronunciation. His ears wincing at the syllables spoken. Henry waited till Cody finished saying the incantation, a few moments past and eventually the hufflepuff said the spell correctly but the teen thought he knew how to help.

"The pronouncations are where you messed up then?"

Henry asked waiting a moment before continuing"try splitting the spell up into differnt, smaller words then put them together to see if that helps." Smiling softly as he listened to the hufflepuff's words, words that he nodded toward.

Raising his left hand and moving Cody's wand to point at the books as he spoke"pratice spells on non living objects until you perfected them since a faulty cast spell can do a bit of damage, " the teen then watched behind blue eyes at Cody's wand movement. It is perfect. Smiling at the movements the teen looked over at Cody as he spoke"your wand movement is perfect, you just need to work on the pronouncation is all."

Eyes darting around. Looking for the librarian or professor. None. The teen then looked at Cody as he spoke"try it together on the book now." Smiling softly at Cody, giving him a encouraging pat in the back with his hand for a few seconds.

"I take it Freddy isn't at hogwarts?"

Henry asked curious. The teen have met a few twins at hogwarts but both seemed to be at the school, lucky they are at least in the eyes of the lad. His mind flickering toward Anna, remembering the day where only one received the letter. The day that started even more tearing them apart.

Cody's words. Henry looked, brushing a few strands from hair from his face as he spoke"my twin? Oh she's a squib and missing uh anyway we should move onto spellcasting and studying," Loki stretched out on Henry's shoulder, curled around him actually. The feline nipped at his onwers ear. A distraction.

Henry listened to Cody breaking up the words, it sounded good except for the stuttering on the word Wing. Remembering what hus elder brother told him about stuttering spells, Henry spoke"sounds good but maybe don't stutter the word wing." the teen then nodded toward the book on the table to indicate in casting.

Henry watched Cody cast the spell, the nooks flew up a few inches then fell back to the table. Henry looked at Cody as he spoke"that was brilliant but this time, focused on the books as you cast that way they'll fly higher." Nodding a lottle toward the first year as flashes of his first yeat danced in his head.
