Some more random socialization Pv Del Closed

Delilah was quite bored as well, having sat in the Library most of the day she decided to go outside and sit by the lake or something. She walked onto the grass, heading towards the lake. As she got closer she noticed somebody else was there, who looked oddly familiar. She squinted a little bit to see closer, he was kinda short, although not as short as Delilah. Then it clicked that it was that skittish boy Blaze that she had met a while back.

He was looking up at the sky, it looked like he was thinking pretty deeply. She approached him quietly, trying to sneak up on him. She kinda wondered what he was thinking about, but she quickly shook away that thought as she got closer, then when she was right behind him she placed her hands on him shoulders. Laughing as she frightened him, normally it was other people giving her a fright, but this time it was the other way round. As her laughing calmed down she smiled at him, "Hi." She said, "How are you?" She couldn't help but giggle every so often at the fact he got a fright, but she tried her best not to, because that would be rude.

He was in his own world when the girl snuck up on him. He got a large fright he rolled to the side and sighed. Then realizing who had snuck up on him, "Hey! Wait a minute aren't you that girl from the truth or dare game... which never actually happened!" He had all this enthusiastically hiding the fact that he had forgotten her name. 

She began to speak to him, she said 'Hi' she asked how he was... weirdly enough not many people had ever asked him such a simple question... still Blaze found a way to screw it up. "Umm... me?" he paused... "Yeah I mean I'm the only one around," he chuckled awkwardly. "Good I'm good," he said acting all cool "How are you..." the way he said it it sounded more like a statement than a question. Sure this wouldn't usually be a bad thing but Blaze wanted to have a good first impression... even though this was the second time he had met her.  

Then the name hit him... Delilah, "Ohh ye Delilah," he said with a smile... "I mean what I hadn't forgotten..." he laughed awkwardly and looked away not wanting to hold eye contact with her. 

"Yup, that's me." She said with a smile as he mentioned the truth or dare game. Then he got a little confused as to if she was asking him, "Yeah of course I'm asking you, you daftie." She said with a laugh. He still seemed as nervous as he did the first time they had met, even if they had only met briefly. "I'm good too...being good is...good." She said, laughing once again. "Yup, that's my name, and yours is Blaze..right?" She asked, kinda worried she had got it wrong so she asked to clarify. 

She smiled at him, looking away breifly before sitting down at the side of the Lake, "So why are you down here today? It's actually a pretty nice day to be fair, it's not normally like this." She said, she wasn't very good at small talk but she made an attempt to anyway, hence the talk about the weather, but there was an awkward silence for a while where they didn't talk, before she cut it with a small laugh, "This is soooo awkward isn't it?" She asked, looking over at him with a smile, she couldn't help but laugh at the fact that between the pair of them they couldn't form a conversation.

She took the whole forgetting her name thing well... or maybe she didn't notice, whatever it was Blaze was glad. To be honest, it seemed she might have forgotten herself "Yup that's me, Blaze," he said trying to imitate the enthusiasm she had when clarifying her name. 

She then started to brew a conversation, "Well I was just bored I guess and plus a lot has happened around here... In my life that is," and a lo really had happened. "And yeah today is pretty nice..." he was about to speak himself when she continued. "Ohh the weather yeah it's pretty nice... not as gloomy as yesterday," he smiled faintly. 

The two of them then went quiet for a while it was really awkward... then seconds later as if she had read his mind Delilah mentioned it. "Yup," was all he said as he stared off into the lake.  He really did want to speak with her in a normal way but he just couldn't usually the other person would get the conversation going but this time no one did. So Blaze tried his best to continue the conversation... "So... were you bored to... cause you showed up out of nowhere and well... I mean I guess you came here cause you were bored...," the whole time Blaze spoke he felt as if he was incomprehensible.

She smiled when he confirmed that she had gotten his name right. Then he mentioned he had a lot going on in his life and she said, "Do you wanna talk about it? I'm not the best at comforting people and you don't have to tell me, I just like to be of some help to people." She said with a little laugh.

Then the conversation about the weather, "Yeah, it was raining so much yesterday." She laughed a bit more at that one, she didn't mind rain personally, because she was used to it from living in the Highlands her entire life. If she was having a bad day though the rain could be quite depressing.

"Yeah I was bored too, plus I just love the view from here, it's so pretty, especially when it's a nice day." Delilah said, looking out to the mountains on the other side of the lake, surrounding that edge of it, a small bit of white on the very tips of them that hadn't quite melted yet from winter. 

There were still some clouds in the sky but they were white and fluffy, contrasting the normal gray nasty ones that fill the sky and cause rain to cover everybody.

Wait talk about it really had someone really asked him such a simple yet important question, "Yeah talking about it..." Blaze then thought about it, "You sure?". He didn't know how to answer, she didn't only ask the question though she spoke about herself to some degree. "You know what you seem like a really nice person," he smiled. He wasn't sure why he had said it especially since he had been so awkward a few seconds ago. 

Then the conversation went back to the weather, "I guess... rain isn't too bad really... like I don't mind it much..." He began to feel awkward again and it was going so well too. "I guess hot days are better in my opinion... not that yours are wrong or anything,".

"Come on keep it together Blaze," he told himself possibly saying it out loud, hopefully not. Delilah continued to speak after that and Blaze just listened not saying a thing. After a few seconds of silence he spoke, "Yeah it is really nice out here,". It really was nice out here: From the tall trees and the pretty flowers and even the animals made the atmosphere perfect. The temperature was also perfect and so were the smells. Everything!

"So anyway Delilah... since we never got to play truth or dare why don't we try now just the two of us,". He paused "Do you wanna go first or..."
