Unexpected meeting

Charles shot a half grin at Haley at the sound of his name, sure his comments were a little uncalled but the blonde didn't really care as he cast a gaze on. Watching. Curious about the pale boy.
"Are we done with all this?"
A glance at the girl, Charles offered his signature half grin as he spoke"I'm not sure, are we mate?" Referring to Simon aka the pale boy aka the offensive boyfriend. Charles knew he shouldn't have took a likening to upsetting or messing with the lad but a part of him just couldn't help it. It reminded him of being back at Dumstrang where he often messed with his team mates and fellow students, except this seened far to easy to do and perhaps won't result in injury.
Haley explained both relationships. Charles barely pay attention, leaning his back on the wall as he crossed his arms over his chest. Eyeing Simon. Catching the boy cover his skin with his hood when the sun appeared from behind the clouds, noting the moment. Curious on how he could bring that up, mention it to him and possibly continue messing with the pale boy but Haley asksd them not to so he shouldn't, right? Right...
Haley's words. The blonde glanced toward her, surprised that she was asking if he could stay. If Charles Alluring known for flirting and fights could stay. The blonde nodded toward Simon's words and questions. Contemplating on if to answer or move on.
"It was manageable, was nice to see friends," Charles spoke then his gaze flicker toward Haley and his smile soften for a moment as he continued"Haley helped make it a enjoyable visit," eyes settling on the girl before transitioning off and his smile losing the softness.
The blonde pushed himself off from the wall, stepping toward Haley. A half smile, hands in his jacket pockets as he spoke"are you sure that I should stay? I could leave so you and your pale boyfriend have some alone time," emphasizing the word 'pale' a little. Charles was trying for a reaction out of Simon who he thought of as the jealous bloke and the type who the blonde enjoys messing with.
Stepping closer to Haley, Charles offered her a smile. Taking her hands in his as he kissed it then pushed close, barely touching her cheek with another kiss before letting go as he spoke"I enjoyed our time together this visit, you have been wonderful miss Rose," a step back as he slipped his hands back into his pockets and a quick glance toward Simom before his eyes darted back for Haley as he continued"I look forward to meeting you again and for your owls but for now I can leave so things aren't- how do you say. Uh- uncomfortable is it? With Simon here." The blonde playfully shoulder nudged Simon's shoulder with a half simon as the end of his words.

Unexpected meeting
@Charles Alluring @Henry Knight @Simon KincaidHaley looked at Charles, partly with an admonishing look but not angry. She knew the blond by now, but she hoped he would do her a favour and not take the whole game to extremes.
Haley knew immediately that Simon was not agreeing because it was really okay with him, but to do Haley a favour. She then gave him another apologetic and thankful look. She knew she hadn't told Simon that Charles would also be here, but that wasn't planned either. She immediately noticed how he pulled up the hood of his sweatshirt and she looked worriedly at the sky. Carefully she reached for his hand, knowing he was angry but trying not to show it, and pulled him slightly towards her in the shadows.
For a moment the redhead relaxed, Simon made an effort to make conversation and Charles answered his question. Quietly, she let the tension out of her nose and her shoulders relaxed again. She returned Charles' smile, it wasn't the half grin he usually walked around with, making sarcastic remarks. It was a kind of honest smile. She had enjoyed spending time with Charles, it was as if the two of them had just bumped into each other at the right moment. As much as she loved her friends and Simon and her family but it was easier to surround yourself with someone who didn't know you inside and out. Who didn't question every move, who didn't have to be told immediately what had happened. To whom you didn't have to tell anything if you didn't want to. As much as she was grateful to Simon for being so patient with her, for listening to her and not letting her down now, she was just as grateful for this refreshing change and the close friendship with Charles that had resulted.
Haley rolled her eyes, of course Charles couldn't help it. But maybe this really was the better decision, she could meet Charles again before they left and spend time with Simon now without them butting heads. "Sure. We could see each other again before you leave." She suggested, trying to just ignore his teasing Simon, hoping Simon would do the same.
Haley didn't feel uncomfortable around Charles, not even when he gave her a kiss. They were good friends, nothing more. But at his gesture, within a second the full tension had shot back into her body. She felt uncomfortable or tense not because of Charles, but for the reason that she was sure he really wanted to push it now. She knew Simon was the more rational of the two and while Haley was already seething in situations, he was the calm voice who had everything under control. But she also knew he had temper and she didn't know if he would be the calm voice now.
"Mister Alluring, it's been an honour." Haley said, smiling at him but giving him a look that spoke a thousand words. She knew it was fun for him and secretly she wouldn't be mad about it, but she also knew what game he was playing.

There were lots of different attributes that between Simon Kincaid and Charles Alluring but Simon was personally glad to see that one of those most defining features that set him apart was manners and class. While Simon had genuinely tried to start a conversation, as basic as it may have been, the boy could only use it as a grab against him and play his little game of humor with him. To Simon, it didn't anger him, but it did make him rather curious as to the boy's lack of topics.
His charade continued further, focusing on Simon's skin pigmentation and once again it wasn't an insult. Simon WAS pale and if anything, Second Year was teaching him to be more accustomed to his dhampir self. More people knew he was a dhampir now than ever before and if this Durmstrang student knew, so be it.
Charles then began his departure, but again, only for more show. It was his dramatic exit. Quite the dramatic exit. It was as if the boy wanted to be in theater club but had never been given the opportunity so he was going to play it out there with his captive audience.
The two would try and meet up again before Charles left and Simon really didn't care. Sure, maybe the boy was a bit friendly but he felt the boy was just laying it on thick to get a reaction from him to satisfy his pride or whatever. Maybe it was immaturity.
"Only one trying to make it uncomfortable is you, mate. My pale self is just chillin," and he flashed Charles a smile. "Safe travels though, on your way home."

Charles offered Haley a half smile, determined to bring a reaction out of Simon. This is what he does. Finds the one thing that makes one tick then use that to bring fourth a reaction, a fight, or anything slightly interesting to the blonde. This could be the reason why he didn't have any friends at Dumstrang but it was also much more fun to get people at that school to hate you rather than like you.
Stepping closer to Haley, the wrapped his arms around her back. Bending down a bit to comfrot the height situation. The blonde spoke"I'll look for you when the ship departs, miss rose," bringing his mouth toward Haley's as he whispered low enough only for Haley to hear.
"Wirte me the reaction Simon has after I leave."
Letting Haley know of his plan. The blonde figured she might be angry with him for doing this on purpose but couldn't help himself. Kissing her cheek then spinning her once away from him. A quick glance at Simon, hoping for a reaction of some kind. Wondering how much more until the boy tick. Until he popped.
A half eye roll toward Simon's question, the blonde slipped his hands into his jacekr pocket. Possibly another reason why Charles enjoyed messing with the boy is because of his calm exterior, the air of not letting much reactions or emotions out. A challenge and one that Charles is up for.
Punching Simon's shoulder rather hard, the blonde spoke"sure, whatever you say ghostface." A half smile then a softer one toward Haley accompanied with a head nod as he spoke"a honor it has been, Haley and I'll look for your owls." The blonde then walked off, not looking back as he walked through thr courtyard. A evil grin spread across his face as he headed toward the ship that would depart for Dumstrang.

Ready to head out too so @Haley Rose can say goodbye
Simon watched as the Durmstrang student walked off and then he glanced to Haley. It wasn't RIGHT to judge people, but he wondered what the heck she saw in the arrogant guy, even as a friend. He wasn't a particularly nice person, because after he knew Simon's relationship with Haley he kept being as big of a jerk to him as he could and while it wasn't directed to Haley, anyone who treats anyone so poorly had the capacity to treat anyone so poorly. "Charming fellow," Simon said sarcastically but wouldn't give it more thought beyond that.
"You should probably go," he said, glancing back to Haley. "I mean, if he's your friend and he's leaving, you should spend this last bit of time with him. You've got all year and the year after that and the year after that to see me," Simon smiled softly. He meant it too. Maybe it helped a little that he knew that Charles Alluring's sites didn't rest on the ladies as his did. "No hard feelings. Promise."
He didn't want Haley Rose to be sad and he would think if he forged a strong friendship with one of the students from the visiting schools, the goodbye would be the hardest. Besides, maybe Charles could get himself together and actually focus more on his friend in the Gryffindor than his show performance for the boyfriend.

@Charles Alluring @Henry Knight @Simon KincaidNote to self, no more meetings with Charles and Simon at the same time, it won't go well. Haley didn't have to ask Simon what he thought of Charles, she knew he would describe him as an asshole, she couldn't blame him because that's exactly how he behaved towards him. But Haley knew Charles. She knew his other side and she knew about the things he went through at Durmstrang. Each of us is who we are but also we are made who we are. Haley knew that, so she just didn't pay any deeper attention to the behaviour but admonished Charles with a few of her looks here and there.
"I'll be the redhead waving like a dork." Haley winked and returned Charles' hug. No matter what, no matter how he had just behaved, she would miss him. He came at the right moment, he was the change and distraction she had needed and he taught her that it was okay to be who you are, to change and that everyone carried their burdens with them. She couldn't help but laugh when he spun her. She gave a little curtsy and thereupon the tall blonde disappeared, ready to leave.
Haley wanted anything but to argue with Simon or for him to be mad at her now. She knew this friendship was hard for him to understand and again he proved his big heart by offering to take a back seat. That she would spend the last of her time with him. Haley smiled softly and looked down at her feet uncertainly, "Are you sure?" she felt bad at the thought of accepting this offer, after all the original plan was to spend with Simon, but he assured her - no hard feelings.
She took Simon into a hug, "Thanks, one reason why I love you." She released the hug, gave him a quick kiss and turned to take the path Charles had walked as well. As soon as she had walked a few steps, it occurred to her that she hadn't said that to Simon since she had her breakdown, the day he finally learned the truth. The day their relationship was almost about to end and neither of them knew if it would really last.
Arriving at the ship, Haley stopped, her eyes in rapid motion searching for the only Durmstrang student she cared about now. As soon as she caught sight of him she screamed quite loudly. "I'm going to miss you Charles!" she laughed, waving madly as she had predicted.
