"Winnie, of course." They were definitely friends by now. Cain didn't simply eat offered candy without the smallest bit of trust being exchanged and with trust came a little bit of friendship that was steadily watered by the gardener that was Winnie by way of their little letter exchange. "You have a good last name though. I imagine your ancestors must've either made or played harps." Unless Harp had some other ancient meaning he was unaware of. A noble profession.
Oh how it pained him to be so unskilled, but he would work on that. Next year he'd be the one enchanting her snowflakes. Cain was glad he hadn't said that aloud, it sounded odd even in his head. "You have all my thanks and this snowflake, it's not all that much." He smiled as he watched Winnie work her magic on the carefully cut paper, noticing their professor of muggle studies sidling up to watch over Winnie's work as well. Colovaria. He would have to remember that spell, changing something's color would be very useful and he marveled as the snowflake changed from some sort of blue to a pale teal-green. He wasn't sure what she was going for but he gave his friend some applause for her efforts. "I like it. I'll hang it in my dorm tonight. Thanks again for the help." Since the professor wasn't scolding them, he assumed it was all right for the students to help each other in this project. He did make Winnie that snowflake, perfectly equal.

Outfit: x Adelaide had never set foot in the Muggle Studies classroom before, but she had always been intrigued about Muggle items and a question that always ran through her mind was: how on earth did Muggles survive without magic? So, when she had entered the Muggle Studies classroom for the first event for Yuletide and learned that they were to make snowflakes the 'muggle way', she was immediately excited. They also had to cast a spell of their choice at the end, but Adelaide would decide what that spell would be after she figured out how to craft a paper snowflake.
She grabbed a piece of paper, a pair of scissors and sat down in an empty seat. The blonde looked around, trying to get a grasp of what to do by looking at what everyone else was doing. Once she had the gist of what she was meant to be doing, she started to fold a piece of paper. Once she had folded the paper, she started cutting out pieces carefully, hoping that it would form some sort of a pattern. She had never done this before, and there were no instructions for her to follow, so she'd cut herself some slack if it didn't turn out to be amazing.
Adelaide unfolded the paper after cutting it and, honestly, it didn't look all that bad, especially for her first try. She was sure with a bit more practice, it would look even more amazing, but it was only a fun celebration, so she wasn't overly concerned about having the best snowflake out of everyone in the room. For the spell she was going to cast, Adelaide decided on a simple levitation charm. She took her wand out, pointed it at the snowflake and performed the swish and flick motion, "Wingardium Leviosa," she said.Action: Casting the Levitation Charm on the snowflake.

"I have no idea what I'm doing, but I guess I'll try-"Pea said to Cash after the green eyes asked the white-haired girl how to cut the snowflake pattern. The other girl then picked up her scissors. The young Ironwoods paid close attention to how Pea moved her scissor to make the snowflake pattern. Several minutes in silence and finally Pea had done with her project.
For someone that initially said the activity is stupid sure as hell knows whats she doing when the first-year show her cut-out snowflakes pattern that she just made. "What can I say, I'm good at all sorts of things"She exclaimed as she let out a cough and her eyes darted a little. The Beater let out a small laugh. It seems Cash found their mirror image.
Like Pea, sometimes the young socialite let their pride get in the way and are embarrassed to admit something that they unconsciously like. When Pea pulled out her snowflakes, Cash let out a low whistle admiring Pea's work. Her snowflake pattern has detailed patterned that Cash wishes could do as Pea did.
"Joder! fuck! you definitely know what you are doing, eh compañera mate"The green eyes said while picking up their scissor. Cash definitely will not be up to Pea's level of creativity and craftmanship but they will try their best. Cut here and there and after several minutes or so, Cash finally done making their own snowflake out of the paper.
Cash looked down and as a first-timer doing this sort of thing, Cash was proud with their end result. Still, it would not good or as detailed as Pea's at least Cash tried their best. The green eyes shake out their left hand to release the sore muscle from snipping away making the snowflake pattern. They put down the scissors that they held next to their snowflakes.
The young socialite scanned the room, it seems Professor Galim put a twist into today's activity. Today was not solely paper cutting that turn into snowflakes patter but it seems she wants her students to practice some spell on the said snowflakes. Cash heard some incantated the Levitating charm, someone also cast the Fire-Making Charm, the Engorgement Charm also can be heard and someone does the Color-Changing Charm.
From where they were situated, Cash could not make out whether Winnie successfully change the color of her snowflakes or not. But from the way the boy talks to her, it seems her attempt did not go in vain. Following Winnie's footsteps, the green eyes took out their wand from the pocket that was located inside their leather jacket.
Cash then twirled their wand like how a drummer do and then pointed their wand to their snowflake."Colorvaria!"The young Ironwoods move their wand according to the spell that they tried to attempt. Followed by a clear and loud spell incantation and pronunciation. They hope they get the same result as Winnie did.

Staying at school instead of heading home for the holidays was a choice Vale willingly decided to make. Any other holiday that wasn't Halloween was not so much a big deal. in the Ashwood mansion. Instead of heading home, she decided to stay to keep up with her studies.
ActionReducioSnowflake making! Attempting to cast Lumos spell. @ReducioClosed for interactions. NoteReducioHappy holidays everyone! OutfitReducioVale's wearing black, casual wear with her hair unusually down without ponytails.
But it certainly didn't mean that Vale couldn't participate in such spirit herself. Even her doll, Ashes, was in a particularly festive mood. According to Vale, that is.
Other than studying, Vale would end up participating in the activities that students could participate in. One of them, would be snowflake making.
"Two blades stuck together! All to cut paper into different shapes!" Vale was showing off a pair of scissors to a small, inanimated doll. The doll laid next to her, no sound or showing any signs of acknowledging its owner. "I agree, Ashes. I shall tell father when I return home next break. He would be most amused; mother and auntie too!"
Vale was happily (and yet poorly) cutting away at a piece of paper to make a snowflake. But Vale Ashwood did not take care of merely refined features, even if she should. In the end, the disleveled paper snowflake was created by Vale.
"Oh Ashes, you are much too kind. But I appreciate the compliment!"
The doll did not express any form of polite complimentary to the young girl. Yet, the young girl took the silence as such. She clapped her hands, smiling in glee at her rough design. Now, she remembered; a spell.
Vale tapped her chin, attempting to decide what was best to use. She turned her eyes over to her doll that sat next to her in an empty chair at the decently large tables in the classroom.
"Hm, yeah! That's a good one." She nodded and pulled her...oh, where was it again? Oh! Vale stuck her tongue out at her small doll. "I knew where it was!" And without further ado, she pointed her wand at her handmade snowflake and made a loop motion. "Lumos." She quietly spoke.
After mod post, Vale can be assumed to have exited the thread.

He had never been to this classroom before, looking around on entering. It looking really interesting in there he thinks. Deciding to take a seat, looking at the supplies on the table. Looking at the two different scissors. Having a question "Can I make more than one snowflake or just one?" He looked at the teacher curiously. Starting to cut a snowflake having never used scissors before hardly so he wasn't too sure what he was doing exactly. But he was trying his best that being all he can do he thinks. Looking at his handiwork during cutting the snowflake.
While he was cutting, he nearly cuts his finger with the tip of the scissors but didn't it being close though. He looks at the snowflake then his finger seeing it was fine being relieved. Being done with the cutting, unfolding the snowflake to take a look at it. Being impressed with it then looking around to see if there was anything other than scissors but not seeing anything so he pulled out his wand. Pointing it at the paper, attempting the colovaria spell though he was just still learning to use spells. He tries to do the spell. "Colorvaria" he looks at the paper looking to see if he did the spell right, unsure what to look for to check to see if the did it. He decides to get the teachers attention to ask her. "Did I do this right?" He looks at her after asking.
He hoped he did, still being new to spells so he wasn't sure if it would work or not he hoped so though. Looking at the paper again it looking to him like it was starting to change colors but he wasn't able to tell for sure. He thought it was though he wanted a second opinion on it and confirmation he did it correctly. Waiting for her to come over to find out or not about it.

Winter headed up from her common room after having done her everyday necessities. As many people had been, winter too had been making her way along with the crowd to go to the muggle studies room. She had heard that this special Christmas event was going to be something about snowflakes, the snow excited the white-haired wonder most out of all the winter holidays had to offer. She made her way up to the classroom, waiting her turn to get into the room and through the doorway.

Her eyes scanned the entire room, there were multiple tables with many supplies for creating paper snowflakes, the way a muggle would, the same way her relatives in other states used to when she was a child. It was simple enough right? Winter made her way to one of the tables, picking up a few pieces of a nice light blue paper the color of a pretty early morning sky after the lovely sunset! Winter already had the thought in mind of how she wanted the snowflake to look, after all, she had remembered all the steps and she was ready to do great!
Winter and her aunt both have a love for doing little crafts, useless or not, nonetheless they were incredibly fun. For her snowflake, she decided to go out of the ordinary, a 3D snowflake. It would simply be a few nice cuts with the regular scissors and a bit of glue to hold some pieces together, it would make out the shape in no time. She folded each of the blue squares into a triangle shape, making the same fine cuts along each of the sides making sure not to cut out anything, she just needed slits in the paper. After doing all the cuts in the paper she flattened them out, pulling one side to the other, creating a roll of a sort with the paper, doing so with each sliver of paper between the cuts, pasting them together with a small bit of glue.
After completing the same process with each paper, allowing time for the glue to be completely dry she began to glue each of the oddly shaped 3D paper rolls together at the tips. There had been six papers in total and once all had been pasted together it had formed a wonderful snowflake, winter was sure if any the number of people creating a snowflake, one different from just any flat normal paper with cuts out of it, one like this would be low, making her snowflake stick out from the others. It wasn't a competition but still, winter decided to put her best work into this holiday event, showing how jolly she was and excited for this amazing snowy season.

Tugging on the sleeves of her oversized Christmas jumper, which featured a small white rat with a little Santa hat trying to push a large present, Serena sighed softly as she walked through the corridors. In a few days, the term would be over. They would be going home for the holidays. She had no idea if she wanted to stay in school or go home for a few weeks if she was honest. The past few months had a lot of ups and downs. Mostly downs. Things that should have been cute or fun were not. They wrecked her with more guilt and stress than she had ever imagined. Stupid, really but a part of her wanted to actually get away from it all, go back home... But that would likely not help either.
Serena adjusted the woolly Santa hat on her head to make sure it covered her ears as she walked into the Muggle Studies classroom and took in the new set-up. The tables were covered with supplies to make snowflakes apparently! It was not exactly what the witch thought was meant by 'snowflake making' but she should have expected nothing else given the location! Of course, it would have a muggle element to it. The sight of everything was quite nice, actually. There was something comforting about the fact that it was just regular crafting for the most part.
Sitting down in the far corner as she did not really want to disturb anyone else. Most people seemed like they had paired up with a friend. However, she did not really have anyone to join forces with - and she probably was not in the best mood either. In a way, she was trying to force herself to be cheery and to celebrate the upcoming holiday with more merriness and joy than she felt. Serena picked up a piece of paper and started to fold it by herself. Honestly, she had no idea what she was really doing. Cutting bits of paper up to turn them into 'snowflakes' was not a thing she had much experience in. However, it seemed simple enough as she listened to the instructions and watched everyone else around.
Taking a pair of scissors, she carefully started to cut into the paper. It was a little tricky cutting some bits where the paper had stacked up to get quite thick but she managed to get through it. Though some edges were definitely a little wobbly and not cut as cleanly as she would have liked. Serena was also being mindful not to hurt her fingers in the process, as the scissors sometimes got close to her fingertips.
Within time, she managed to be 'done'. Unfolding the snowflake surprised her. She had no idea what to actually expect when she started to cut into it, unable to visualise what her cuts would do. However, the end results pleasantly surprised her. A small smile grew on her face as she eyed it up. Some of the edges were a little wobbly for sure but she really did quite like the end result.
Taking out her wand, she decided to see what happened when the spell was casted, "Colovaria," She whispered with a flick of her wrist.

Scarlet loved seeing the castle decorated for Christmas, she thought the classic reds, greens and golds of the newly hung decorations that now covered many parts of the school, looked amazing against the old stone walls and floors. When she passed a suit of armour walking between classes earlier that day, she had the thought that it would have been cool if they had decided to put Christmas hats on those too!
On this particular day she knew that the muggle studies professor, who Scarlet hadn't really had the chance to meet yet, was hosting some sort of Christmas crafting thing in her classroom, Scarlet decided she would stop by and see what was going on. It was interesting to see inside the mystery muggle studies classroom, mystery in that she of course was yet to have any classes there till her third year. Tables covered in deep blue cloth or something similar resembled a wintery night sky with sparkly glitter sprinkled on top of them.
If she was being honest, when she saw the other students that were there cutting up pieces of paper into snowflakes, she wasn't initially grabbed by the idea, she briefly thought to give it a miss and see if there was anything else going on in the castle since Christmas fever seemed to be spreading everywhere now. But then she had another thought, why not, it was something she hadn't done before and, well she liked snow. Not needing to think of much more to make her stay, she assumed she must just be full of the Christmas spirit and happy to do anything related to the holiday.
Armed with a light blue sheet of paper and a pair of scissors she found herself having no idea what to do, after watching a couple of others fold and then cut out shapes from their own, Scarlet thought she had a good idea of how to make one. She folded the paper to make a smaller triangle shaped piece and cut jagged patterns into the edges. After unfolding it she was presented with a far from conventional snowflake, nothing she thought a touch of magic couldn't make better.
"Wingardium Leviosa!" she said, pointing her wand at the snowflake, 'it's surely going to look better from further away,' she thought, maybe if it was too far away for her to easily be able to spot the mistakes she had made it would look more like the actual thing.

Damion was glad that he was doing things that he loved doing. First cookie decorating and then Bauble crafting. He was loving this day. He had woken up a little late but was happy that he had gotten to do things that he loved. He happily walked to the Muggle Studies classroom with his wand in his pocket. He was going to work on origami. He was going to make the amazing and lovely snowflakes of different sizes and colors.
He started folding the papers near him and made a snowflake which was crooked. So he crumpled it up and threw it away. it was time to do it again. He calmed himself down by taking a deep breath and he focused on his origami. He wanted to make it right this time. He didn't want to keep doing it again and again.
He was fond of doing things that were creative and some would say not appropriate for him. But he didn't care. He loved doing this. He started with a fresh paper. He wanted to make the snowflakes as perfect as they could be. He would be using the spells to put colors on it that he wanted. He loved making things look pretty.

It was almost as though it was a snowflake party in the Muggle Studies classroom. So many students were around trying to create their snowflake and all of its droppings on the floor creating a fake illusion of snow.
@DEALLA PRINCE

When the Ravenclaw had done her spell the snowflake had begun to pump itself like a heart. Bigger then smaller. Bigger then smaller. It was going on for what felt like a minute (but was really a few seconds, really) and it began to grow, still throbbing at the sight. When it felt that it couldn't pump anymore, it exploded into thousands of paper cuttings and trickled down onto the floor. Perhaps it was not a snowflake that could be bigger and be taken to show off to their friends.
@ADELAIDE BARLOWE

Adelaide's magic must have been strong when they pointed their wand at the snowflake and chanted the levitation charm. The snowflake, without hesitation, levitated from the table and was bouncing around without a care in the world. Maya Galim saw this talent and walked over to the girl. "Very well done," she acknowledged her, and she moved onto the next students who were doing their magic.
@CASSANDRA IRONWOODS
ReducioD20 roll: 17
Another student had taken on a difficult charm to try. Maya watched as the snowflake began to shift in color slowly. It began to go through a plethora of colors before stopping at a nice purple hue. It was darker than Winnie's teal hue. Maya walked up to Cassandra with a smile and nodded, acknowledging her ability to take on a challenge of such a charm.
@VALE ASHWOOD

It seemed that Vale's result wasn't going to be as bright as her interaction with her doll. After a good conversation with her dolly, Vale had decided to do Lumos, the light charm. Unfortunately, it was not as strong as it could be and only a small click of light appeared before nothing else happened. Perhaps Vale needed more practice with their charms as a first year student. Maya walked up to her and put a hand on her shoulder. "Keep practicing, you'll get there," she said, soon watching the first year up and leave the classroom.

"You can make as many as you'd like," Maya replied to the Hufflepuff. She watched him as he made his snowflake. She winced when seeing that he had almost cut himself. Perhaps I should make a class all about using muggle tools, Maya thought. When he was finished, he decided to use a spell that was probably not in his tool shed of knowledge. Nothing happened. Maya put a hand on his shoulder and smiled. "It was perhaps you did a spell that you had not learned yet. Try one that you did learn and practice already," she said, giving him advice.

A beautiful snowflake was created by Winter, but it seemed that there was no spell to be done and therefore, nothing happened to their snowflake. They are more than welcome to take their snowflake home if no spell has been cast on it.

Maya noticed a fifth year, Serena Towers, sitting at the far corner of the classroom. She walked her way over to her with a smile and watched as she was trying her hardest to create a wonderful masterpiece. When she was finished, a spell needed to be cast. Serena had chosen the color-changing charm. The snowflake began to shift in color from a light red to green to purple. It wasn't until as it was shifting, it began to take hold of some colors. Once it was finished, it looked like a mess of colors that were splatted on her snowflake from black to yellow to blue and green. "Interesting, Miss Towers. In the Muggle World, we would call that tie-dye," she said, giving her some Muggle knowledge, but also wanting her to feel good that it wasn't a perfect color.
@SCARLET SALVATORE

Maya had walked up to the last of the students who were doing a spell on their snowflake. She saw that they had cut it so nicely starting with triangles; a good start to creating snowflakes. When they were finished, they had decided to do the levitation charm. Wand out at the snowflake and the charm was incanted. Maya looked at the snowflake and nothing happened. Maybe the spell was hesitant and she waited even more and yet, nothing happened. "It's alright dear. You just get to keep your snowflake and show it off if you'd like. Not all spells work the first time," she said, with a small smile.
