Making Friends Closed

Violet Shanks wrote: She laughs at Allie's eagerness and looks back at Monty. "Are you alright? You seem a little nervous," she says putting a hand on her shoulder. She smiles a small smile hoping it would provide some comfort if Monty did feel unsure or nervous.

Sophia turned to Violet. "Oh, yeah. I'm fine, thanks," she replied with a small laugh. "I just don't socialise much - never really had any friends, that's all." She turned a corner and stopped, waiting for the others to catch on her trail.

"Sorry if I made you uncomfortable, i'm just kind of easily excited," Allie said with a sincere smile on her face while she brushed through her hair with her hand, "I'm Alison Frost but everyone calls me Allie, welp now that thats put of the way, why don't we get a move on."

Sophia smiled and carried on walking down the corridors, out of the small hall. "I'm Sophia, as I introduced myself to Miss Shanks. We'll be out in a minute or two," she explained, looking around at another girl watching them.

Cory froze, eyes darting around as a means to avoid eye contact. She could already feel her palms becoming clammy and she clenched them, arms rigid and glued to her sides. She shut her eyes and sucked in through her teeth.
"H-hi there!"
She inwardly cringed at her stammered greeting. Get yourself together, Cory!

"Afternoon," Sophia replied with a small smile, extending her back to give out a straight posture. "Would you like to join us?" she asked, nudging Allie and looking at the other girls. She stood out among them as she was pretty tall.

Sophia turned to Alison. "So, Allie, where are you headed anyway? I know nearly every nook, cranny and crevice of the school already so... I can help you get nearly everywhere and anywhere." She glanced at the very shy-seeming girl but looked back at Alison and Violet (and anyone else tagging along) for an answer

"Christy and I were headed to the Hufflepuff common room, then Voilet come around the corner knocking the life out of us and looking for the same place we were" She laughs "Then Allie landed on top of us, but considering that not everyone here is a Hufflepuff... should we go back to that huge hall...the uh...Great Hall?"

"Also" She turned to the new girl, fixing up her glasses before sticking out her hand "Im Ally Gray" She offered her a huge smile.

Violet nods in agreement. “That sounds like a plan,” she said smiling at everyone around her. “Anyone got any objections?” 

Sophia smiled at Ally Gray. She shook her hand and smiled. "That sounds great. Follow me and you'll get to the Great Hall!"
