Henry watched the boy heal a little more but blood still dripped out. The teen gritted his teeth a little, he was avoiding the bandaging charm in favor of a healing spell but it seemed like he will need the bandaging charm instead.
Henry felt the rain pour down, his clothes becoming soggy and hair sticking to his forehead as he pushed thr hair from his eyes. Gazing around to see if anyone else needed help or healing is when the teen noticed a girl, perhaps in the same year as him. The girl that was attacked by the strange hag slug moments ago.
"Hey! Are you alright?"
Henry called out to the girl, looking for any sigms of blood or other injuries before turning his eyes back toward the gryffindor captain. Wand aimed as he took a breath when his eyes got a glimpse of the tent standing again.
The teen held his mayhaw wand, turning it in his hand as he eyes the area. The nurse is over there, isn't he? The teen didn't really like the man and might have felt strange in his presence but the third year thought he could help with the injured and unconscious.
Looking over to the gryffindor captain, Henry spoke"I'm going to get the nurse here and help with the injured at the tent," wand pointing toward the ball area for a moment before eyes flickered back toward Galton as he continued"you should be fine, the wound is healed but if you feel yourself getting weaker then a bandaging charm should help." The teen wished that he could stay to cast it himself but imagined that if a samll fight can cause this much damage then the ball tent collapsing could cause much much more. Plus the nurse was there or Henry thinks he is, hoping the man could help at the situation much more.
Henry nodded toward the gryffindor captain about to say something else but shutting his mouth quickly, deciding to keep quiet as he turned on his heel and ran over to the ball tent to help with Loki sitting on his right shoulder.

Spectacular Banner by Leonard Oaksworth
Interacting With: @Levi Drakos Mentioning: @Evelynn Decipio, @Winnie Harper & @Mathias Pride♦♢♦Twisted. The lone word which bubbled to the surface of Marshal's boiling mind; a single thought, born in its search for a description to affix upon Levi's expression. Like a leftover puzzle piece, his demeanor simply didn't fit the situation, as though the artist responsible for his appearance had entirely misread some script in preparation for this scene. It was badly misplaced, deadened to the reality that stared him straight in the face, and entirely defying the queue for some form of doubt or unease.
If past actions hadn't yet defined the perversity of the boy's convictions, then that expression begged for condemnation. Clearly stemming from the recesses of a contorted soul, it perpetuated the single-worded label Marshal had instinctively applied, all but confirming much darker suspicions far beyond that of a love-sick fool. Levi was clearly something more - calculated and reserved, capable of deliberate deceit.
Studying hazel irises that met his own without hesitation, the normally trusting Gryffindor couldn't claim to see their depths, but there was undoubtedly something off in the way they reflected the light. If eyes were a mirror, then someone had shattered Levi's glass.
Evidently tired of being a mad hatter's cliché, the shorter boy took advantage of a tense lull in Marshal's dialogue, tossing the cartoonish hat to one side and darn near disappearing as a result. Almost for fear of losing sight of his target, the blonde remained fixed upon Levi's features, severe countenance unbroken by the suggestion behind his words.
"I'd find a dog to do it, but there are some things even they won't touch." A slight cock of his head followed. "Don't suppose you've ever been licked by one, have you?" Implications coated the air, thick enough to taint both their lungs. Someone was liable to fall dizzy sooner or later.
Yet toxic overtones would not be the first to make Marshal ill. Neck still angled to one side, his gaze would shift to the fetid hue of a hand destined for the skin of his jaw, its gentle posture but another stroke to disrupt the harmony of the painting it resided within.
Brow furrowed in clear disturbance, he allowed his head to roll back, lower lip extending past its counterpart as Levi's hand skimmed empty air. Pose colored by condescension, he eyed the other boy across the length of his nose, rejecting any notion of parodical affection. Frankly, the idea of anything beyond contempt between them tickled his gag reflex, and Levi's next words only solidified that.
To play at the most overt fragment of his desires, so flippantly dangling a reality that clearly ailed him to no end - it detailed a deeper part of the boy's personality, indicating a dripping lack of regard for the consequences of his forked tongue; but even more than that, it exuded a willingness to cause pain.
That said, Marshal couldn't remember the last time the devil's opinion had made him flinch.
"The fact you believe she could belong to anyone tells me exactly what you're worth," the scathing response occupied a brief space between two trivial bites of a venom-less snake. "Not that anyone could be paid to watch the artificial production of you pretending to have a personality." Two shoulders lifted gently - almost imperceptibly - toward the sky.
He loathed himself for stooping to Levi's level, but sometimes one had to crouch to speak with a rodent, particularly when said rodent was as short as this one. The lacerations of a sharp tongue defied his nature when speaking to another person, but an individual who went out of their way to cause pain - to negatively altar the lives of others - also chose to forfeit such a basic human right. Actions spoke louder than DNA, and manipulating Winnie the way Levi had sounded like something less than human. Not to mention the constant stream of words he continued to choke out. Marshal was beginning to wonder if his talkative tendencies were quite so obnoxious as Levi's inability to shut up.
The sheer hypocrisy of the term 'self-importance' leaving the boy's mouth drew an inadvertent scoff from his own, a pretense to the amusement wrought by the following threat. He understood that there were ample devices to carry out a threat beyond physical actuation, but the distinct lack of anything resembling size made the dark statement seem hilarious; almost like a gerbil swearing revenge for being put on a diet, the intended anxiety was somewhat lost on him.
Lips curling into a humoring grin, his brow raised to indicate just how adorable Levi was. No response saw fit to form in his throat as the shorter boy was allowed to continue.
The pleasant expression would not last, however, slowly falling as he contemplated the next statement to meet his ears. Was that Levi's own stab at an accusation, aimed at Winnie's boyfriend? His choice of words was odd - of course, everything about him was - but their meaning remained clear enough.
Marshal had never met Matt; heck, he hadn't even known he'd existed until the conversation wherein Winnie had spoken of Levi's treachery.
A mental note was made to make the stranger's acquaintance, but as of now, no more credence would be given to the deflective statement. Winnie knew what Levi had done, and that was good enough.
The thoughtful fog cleared from his eyes as he refocused on his counterpart's face. Nowhere in those features was an image of remorse, but rather an explosive desire for further chaos. Well, if he truly wanted it, then all he had to do was continue pursuing Evelynn, and Marshal would be happy to provide a bit of intrigue.
Another grin. "Go ahead and ask anyone; they'll tell you I like to talk. Never stop, really. But I'll make an exception for you. We won't be having another conversation." An ominous lean forward punctuated yet another implication, hot breath colliding as two faces froze in congruence once more. "Keep that in mind next time you taint the air Evelynn breathes."
As if imitating Levi's apparent desire for false affection, he would then raise a hand with the intent to place a harsh pat upon the boy's face, before offering a wink of his own and turning on his heel. The dark cloud trailed as he exited the same way he had entered.♦♢♦Action: Threats and implications only befitting a public setting. Leaving the area.

Instinctively, the spell flying Thomas' way made him flinch. He had no opportunity to dodge or sidestep, likely for the best as it was meant to help. The unfamiliar sensation of bravery pushed away the fear that the boy held close, and as he looked up he noted the source of such a spell. The Head of House Slytherin, Callie's... Cousin? Aunt? The Ravenclaw didn't entirely remember the details of their relation. Thomas offered Professor Jensen an awkward wave in thanks of the Animosus, a welcome relief from the undeniable anxiety that came along with the current situation.
That slug was... Annoyingly evasive, or perhaps Tom was just distracted. The result was the same either way. Not leaving room for the feeling of failure to creep in as his spell missed, Thomas knew time was of the essence. The slug had taken a mighty beating, a knife slash, and one of Sylvie's devastating Flipendos, but so long as it remained lively and squirmy the Ravenclaw boy would not know peace. The initial, kneejerk reaction of rage died in intensity as it was clear that Sylvie wasn't (currently) in mortal danger, making way for a deeper focus on what exactly was going on. The slug was nearly dead and gone, he and everyone else was soaked.
"Sylvie, are you bleeding?" Tom offered as a quick check-in on his friend's wellbeing. At the moment, from his brief inspection, the answer seemed to be no, but the Ravenclaw was no doctor.
Really, it was Thomas' fault for trying to use a spell he wasn't super comfortable with messing within an offensive capacity. Diffindo was dangerous business after all, if misused! The dueling classics were what he ought to be relying on, even if he'd begin to develop something of a reputation for blasting Knockback Jinxes left and right at this point. "Flipendo!" He offered the older student who had been making good use of Jurgen's weapon a curt nod of gratitude, the mask they wore and their incredibly tall silhouette daunting to regard for too long even with the aid of a bravery charm.

The proud owner of a mouthful of teeth that were not his own, he found value in something so intimate now being added to his collection. Teeth were potent magical items, something worth collecting. He was not fussed by the disproving glances of his peers, they were simple-minded and too feeble to understand the potential implications. It mattered not, more for him.
His diversionary entertainment a loss. Everyone was far too distracted to enjoy his candy. He would dispose of his bags of sugar-free gummy bears on the ground. Their usefulness out-lived, he was not going to eat them even if they came in a sealed package. The teeth now had a new home.
There was this big, black slug thing barreling about the dancefloor, causing chaos and ruining his intended fun. He was not as knowledgeable as his siblings or his cousin regarding the dark menace that slithered about faster and more agile than he felt a slug should ever be. His first thought was of course not revulsion or fear but rather curiosity -- what could they be? So weird, invasive and violent. The carnage was entertaining, but the guiled youth had a strangeness about him, almost a lusus naturae.
Gideon would not seek to slay but rather take the slain. On his tip-toes, almost exaggerated movement as if to say 'pardon me' or 'excuse my non-invasive presence for I am only attempting to pick up this dilapidated monstrous remains.' Indeed that was what he was saying if his motions had words. He was not one to hide his intentions, the boy much like his brother was utterly shameless. "Taking the burden of the dead in my bag," he would announce as calmly as one might mention they are collecting feathers or neat looking rocks.

She did not entirely understand what was happening, why she was being attacked. Only that it was coming from every direction. Her mouth filled with the taste of coins, she spat a pulpy blob of mucus swirled with blood and hunks of flesh torn loose by the slugs that evacuated her mouth. The nausea forewarned her of others that would follow, the retching debilitated her.
What an act of desperation it must have been to draw her wand. The part-Veela was not known for her academics, her arcane skill or a willingness to use anything but her bare hands or perhaps teeth. Erin was likely more astonished than her adversaries that the spell had worked, it was the first time she had successfully cast a spell more powerful than a Lumos.
The world swam before her, the earth like a rolling stream. She had to focus, through the chaos and confusion. Who was hurting her? She swallowed a mouthful of blood. Nasty -- what the hell was wrong with dhampirs to crave the bitter taste? Speaking of - Howard. Yes, he was the stand-out, her rival rather than friend. Her paranoid senses screamed for him. "Is this all you got?" She coughed, a river of blood flowing from the corner of her mouth. "You barely touched me," she claimed.
She would level her boom boom stick (wand) in Howard's direction as he came at her. "Lubricus," she incanted. Her wand pointed at the earth below them, not just him. She had no fear of the reaper but she was not going to meet him alone.

Fine, he would not wash out Percival's filthy mouth. The boy's fair features would turn into an irritated scowl. Why him? this pretty boy that her friends would probably mistake for her girlfriend. It was like being bullied by an irate mannequin, what was he going to do? Slay him with his incredible smoulder?

Count him terrified but for completely different reasons. He knew what fear was. He was intimate with the notion of terror, the very real understanding of regret, of how time could be cut far too short. While many of his peers worried about outfits and dates he was living an eldritch horror. A cosmic evil too terrible to truly know and only from a place of arrogance did one try.
"What do you think you are to her Rainwood?" A rhetorical question of course. "You're a project. Something to coddle and something to fix." It was a different sort of love that kept her by his side. "If you were not some self-named 'bad boy', of what we will never know," his greatest claims to fame was debasing underclassman if he recalled, such as Michael Miller. The most pathetic of their lot too come to think of it. Never a peer. Never anything that could truly fight back because in his heart Percival ws coward. "Compared to the things I have seen, you are like a comet expecting fear to herald your wild path when in truth you are flying past a dying star." They simply did not compare. In short, he... no they had so much worse to fear than Percival's ire. He still felt the psychosomatic ache of his head being crushed in by Vladimir. His body from being imploded, experiencing the sensation of becoming shrapnel for but a moment was a sensation one simply could not describe but he knew it.
Did he realize the irony of his words? Hell yes. A flick of his wrist, he would utter the words "Engorgio." His wand aimed squarely for Percival's pants. The intention simple, already (unfortunately) pictured in his mind. A magicians version of a hazing - make the pants too large to remain on. Pray to Merlin that they had something underneath or everyone was going to get an even worse eyeful than intended. He did not need to pummel his dormmate to ruin his day. Fists were the sad weapons of muggles rather than wizards.
Regardless of his success, he would beseech the tether -- Ileen Knight. Pretty, kind Ileen. She had a taste for the pathetic, the strange and of course bad-boys. Hell with him she would get all three. "There is plenty wrong with me to fix," he announced. What an enticing offer, his pick-up line becoming "I am screwed up, love me!" Hardly the violent sort, no tightened fist, no overuse of flames. He was not like Percival. Not like how others assumed. But he was also not as good or as kind as Jack Burnett had imagined. He just knew how to provide people with the modicum of respect they at times deserved. He was capable of compassion. He stood out to Jack because he offered the boy a thread of human kindness that must have been so rare and so unique... But Victor was no saint. He was as flawed as the rest of them. Only he was not drawing blood, just tears and ridicule. A few mean words, mostly truths. A little bit of magic, rather that tooth and nail, flame and hammer.
"I would treat you like a queen and you know it. Does he even look at you unless he needs something like a date to a ball? Unless you beg him for a passing glance." He could be wrong but he had his doubts that Percival was even close to being the dutiful boyfriend that Ileen required, no deserved.

• Creatures of the Lake •This was the worst night of Sylvie's life. There was a ball, and she didn't even ask Elias Weare to go with her... Now a creature was boring a hole in her arm from... Slug related antics. Anyway, she was having a heart attack. Or at least that's what it looked like, as after the teeth of the hell-bug started chowing down on her arm, she looked like she was about to either pass out or pee her pants.
After her flipendo, however, the slug was ripped from her arm, still alive and wriggling menacingly.
"Hey! Are you alright?"
"Sylvie, are you bleeding?"
Her hand slapped over her clearly bleeding arm before addressing the two who were inquiring about her state. "... No! I'm good! Haha!" >_> ... <_<
It was fine. She was fine. Besides, if she looked down at the patch of flesh missing, she'd actually faint. And then die maybe? The slug would be able to reach her better if she were flat on the ground, which WOULD NOT be happening. If she had any say in it, at least.
"Just a little scratch!" She gave a measly smile in Thomas' direction in a vaguely comforting manner........ The silent weeping and pained tears would totally be masked by the sound and general wetness of rain. It just like when you cry in the shower, except much more embarrassing!
She would lift her wand again, determined to kill the foul thing with a taste for her skin and cast, "Flipendo!" once more.Action: Casting Flipendo at the slug that attacked her

Swish. Slash. Her handiness with a blade- was it something to be concerned about? Perhaps. Her attack was bold. Potentially dangerous given the slugs small size, and the much larger size of the gastropods target- who it had seemed to latch itself to. Xailah couldn't risk missing and accidentally hitting someone; so she made damn sure she was right on target. The knife swooped down once again, the sharpened metal burying itself into the worms leathery hide. Hot liquid spurted from the open wound. The blade was not the only thing to collide with the beast; the spell cast by the creatures target would hit true. The abomination squirmed, it's movement quite sluggish.
Xailah looked to the boy and girl. The lad dipped his head. Xailah returned the boys silent nod, hers more acknowledging than appreciative; but would not lend a further hand to the swamp pair. It was now up to Thomas and Sylvie to put the pitiful thing out of it's mistery. And it was up to Thomas to amend the mistakes of his miscast Diffindo. The slug was nearing the end of it's life. While highly disturbing, it was still a living creature. To an extent. Parasitic monstrosities could hardly be put into the rank of living. There was no need to overdo the killing. Not while death was a rap-tap-tapping on it's door. Xailah turned her back to the two young Swamp Creatures; hoping that both their Flipendos would make quick work of what remained of the slimy invertebrate. She was no longer needed at their side. Not that she had been to begin with. They seemed to handle themselves well- better than most might've, at least.
There was something worth noting about parasites: you could never have just two. Not usually. Such an occurrence was rare among creatures, whose only purpose was to mindlessly eat and breed. There could, if the host was lucky, be one. Of course there could be more, there likely was more, but there was never two and only two. That wasn't how parasites worked. Erin had ceased vomiting; her stomach commanded to calm, with the wave of a wand. The lack of slugs exiting the Slytherins mouth brought a stir. Others noticed. They stopped what they were doing. Halted their attacks. A few rushed to Erin's aid- no, not quite. They rushed to grab her, while another raised their wand. Judging by the reactions of those around her, Xailah could deduce that there were in fact, more beastly worms occupying Erin's- err.... tubes. Something clearly had to be done about that. She relaxed her knife arm, and reached for her wand.

Ileen's eyes widened as she narrowly missed Percival's arm. He was angry and suddenly as nimble as a squirrel, avoiding her grab with precision. At least he didn't try to hit Victor again.
However, Ileen wasn't sure if the turn the conversation suddenly took was a better one. She could literally see her chances of convincing Percival to get Victor out of here and to safety for the time being melting away like buttercream on a hot summer day.
And suddenly the argument turned around them. Great. It was like a flashback to when she had tried to heal her classmates who had fallen victim to the poisonous gas in the dungeon and then only made it worse. It was like that again, wasn't it? She had tried to protect Victor and now that all the attackers had moved on for now, she had a date with her that probably wanted to tear him to pieces. What was wrong with her? Or much more with the two?
She still felt the reverberation of Victor's lips on hers and immediately blushed when he said that she was too good for them anyway. She had wanted to say that the kiss wasn't about her, but suddenly she wasn't so sure anymore and the red on her cheeks deepened as she thought about it. She was not prepared for this situation. She was here to protect the boy, perhaps a futile endeavor, but he meant something to her. And now they were fighting - over her?! Where had she taken a different turn than the two hotheads?
The two seemed to have completely forgotten her presence or to ignore her on purpose. And then Victor spoke the words that contained more truth than the young Slytherin would have liked. What do you think she sees in you?
She felt something constrict her throat. Why had she started to get more involved with Percival? Because she had seen that there was something good in him. Hadn't he been something like her personal project and then it had turned into a real friendship? She opened her mouth and closed it again, because she couldn't think of any quick-witted words. He was right to a certain extent.
Her heart thumped painfully as she looked first to her date and then back to Victor. And then when another spell was spoken, the knot of helplessness and pointless standing around finally burst. Had the two of them completely lost their minds? Only seconds ago people had tried to attack Victor and Ileen had begged him and Percival to leave and just because he had kissed her, they were now making this fuss? Someone should rethink priorities!
Yes, she deliberately put aside the event and its meaning because she was just not ready to deal with it and how it made her feel. She couldn't deny that she was attracted to Victor and also that she had formed a strong bond with Percival. But she wasn't here to work that out, after all!
With flashing brown eyes and flushed cheeks, she shot forward like an autumn wind, her dress rustling ominously as she stood up between the two and gave them each an enraged look. "Stop that now! Stop making me the reason you're fighting, that's the very last thing that's going to get us anywhere right now! What is wrong with you?!" She had finally lost patience and deep disappointment spread over her face. It was just that, she was made the reason, but it was not really about her. She was just the excuse, because if it had really been about her, then maybe they would have listened to her when she begged to leave the ball. Victor wanted to die here today and Percival - Ileen didn't know what Percival wanted.
Only one thing was crystal clear to her. She was sick of it now. Horrified, she noticed tears of anger and helplessness welling up in her eyes and she wiped them away vigorously as she stood between them. Her chest rose and fell rapidly, as if she had just run, but she was simply pissed off.
Percival knew it was important to her to save Victor, and yet he had attacked him. Victor - well, he might not have known it, but she definitely didn't care about his fate. And yet he had simply accepted his death. And now they had brought something else into focus that suddenly maneuvered Ileen into a position she didn't want to be in.
I would treat you like a queen and you know it. Does he even look at you unless he needs something like a date to a ball? Unless you beg him for a passing glance. Ileen swallowed, suddenly brought out of her angry funk and looked at Victor, the handsome older student. She hadn't thought about that. Was that the way it was? Was she also perhaps simply a convenience or a project for Percival? He hadn't even apologized to her then best friend on that occasion. And she had invited him for the ball, not the other way around. And hadn't he kept stressing at the last ball that they were just going as friends?
Then she slipped out the most inappropriate thing ever. "I- Well, we're not a couple. He can do whatever he wants." Which he apparently did anyway, regardless of what was important to her. And because the words just bubbled out of her unfiltered anyway, she added. "And you want to die, I don't know if that's a good basic requirement for commitment."
But it was too late. Another attack had been made. To hell with this stupid argument. Not that it really mattered, but they were both on a good path that Ileen didn't want to have anything more to do with them in the near future...

@Jürgen Hess | @Gideon Athantos

Bent over Hess' unconscious body, the professor breathed a sigh of relief when he discovered the boy was still breathing (correct me if I am wrong, I was not given information in the mod post but mods have stated prior that Jürgen was not dead). Although the sight of the Gryffindor was not pretty and he would likely need to spend some time with Brumby. Hess had not been mentioned to Orion prior to starting his career at Hogwarts, but he knew of his relations and wasn't about to get on that man's bad side. He needed to get his student out of the line of fire to ensure his safety. Bending next to the fourth year, Orion's arms slid beneath the boy's shoulders to prop him upward. "Episkey." He mumbled, pointing his elder wood wand towards the boy's chest and twirling it in a circular motion. If Hess were to stir from his unconscious state, Orion would press a hand against him in an attempt to keep him from running off. "We're healing the girl, don't be stupid or I'll have to stupefy you."
Orion found Erin's torment as difficult to watch as the next person, but he felt his heart dropped when the stomach-turning sound of her vomiting ceased. Despite the fact that they were trying to save her life, she as fighting them tooth and nail. It made sense, given the nature of her situation. He was thankful that the two heads of houses had joined the battle. Several students were already flinging slug vomiting spells in the girl's direction, but from what Orion had seem of Ryan, she was quite nimble and able to dodge multiple spells. If the students didn't manage to hit her, he would take it upon himself to fire another spell at her. Other students were being... Less productive. Gideon Athantos, in particular. The boy was collecting something off of the ground, littering, and offering to dispose of the dead slugs. Dear mother of Merlin... There was something deeply troubling about that child. "Athantos, Leave the slugs and get to safety, or maybe instead of collecting molluscs you can help your cousin, who just got knocked in his head."
