Cody smiled brightly. It was January 17th. The day of cheers. Well... it was to him. Cody wasn't mandated to attend classes. Are you daft? He was MANDATED to attend classes, but Cody decided to skip classes. He went down to the Great Lake, staring out at the vast pool, or rather, body of water.
He just had to imagine something so sweet... as if. Wait- surely he was far enough away from the Forbidden Forest to... avoid the dreaded Unicorns right? He had to be! That was Cody's greatest fear. In hopes of avoiding it, Cody took a step back, when he heard a voice, the same one he heard every day the past months of being at Hogwarts, upon arrival. This was the voice Cody heard on his boat ride the first night.
It was odd. Mystifying. But... he felt he needed assistance. But, something told him that he need not to worry about looking for assistance. So for the time being, Cody would pick up a stick and throw it as far as he could towards the sound. A plunking was heard as the stick fell through the water. But no sounds of pain. It had to be something irregular!
