Henry felt his muscles relax a little, bring his crossed arms lower on his chest as he looked up with wide eyes at rhe professor. The topic of stargazing always has been one that helped ease the lad no matter the situations.
Debating on asking the astronomy professor further on the question, the topic served as a distraction and the third year found his anxiety meddling out a little. Despite the preference, the teen remained silent. He understood why he was there and what the topic was suppose to entail, stargazing was not a part of it. Maybe another time? At least the lad hoped so.
The teen looked up at the professor, finding his accent relaxing to the ear. Listening to his words. At the sound of 'people like you' the teen found his muscles tense up and nose twitch for a few moments before easeing up once more. Henry never enjoyed being separated by a factor he couldn't control, it bothered him when others judged or called him out on that one thing alone. The teen only ever wanted to fit in, to be a part of a pack- a group and yet he was more use to be separated when his fury secret is known.
Henry nodded toward the man's words. His blue haze set upon him, curious to hear what he says and how he might react further. His mind assuming the worse, fueling his anxiety that is thundering above the young lad.
Why does that sound correct? He said he isn't one then.... how did he know?
I never someone compare it to taking a potion that does the same thing... strange... someone else taking control or he said... said... borrowing! Yes, borrowing my body forcing it to use at their own will and needs when in the end I feel like the monster.... how did he- does he know? How is this possible...
Henry stared at the man. Listening intensely. His blue eyes widening at the two names rhe professor used. Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde. Looking away for moment, biting his bottok lip as he searched his brain for the two names. Trying to remember if he knew them.
That's when it came to him. They were from a muggle story, one that Henry was vaguely familiar with. Dr Jekyll was a scientist who split himself or created the other, almosr evil half that was Mr Hyde. Henry thought it iver for a moment, dropping his hands to his lap. Running them over each other as he stared at them, his hands. His blue eyes widen, filled with fear as he looked up from his hands and at the professor.
The teen took a moment to compose his winding thoughts as he softly spoke"how do you know that much, professor? About the t- t... transformation and how it f..feels?" Curiosity struck the teen as he watched the professor carefully, wanting to ask more but refraining himself as he watched the man closely.
"Dr Jekyll created Mr Hyde through, didn't he professor? Won't both of them be the monster?"
The words escaped his mouth, looking up at the professor. Henry felt his eyes widen wirh fear, fidgeting with his fingers a little at he watched the professor. Not daring to move his eyes.
