A Busy Day in the Library PV Mezmarat Ambrose Closed

Holidays. It was a time for merriment, gift giving, love, and laughter. Still, for many of the professors at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, the holidays were a time to cram in as many assignments and examinations in before end of the first half of the term. They would bring about some of their most heavily weighted grades on the line and the students were jumping like crazy to study hard and perform well.

Simon Kincaid noticed an influx in the school's library within the weeks that lead up to the holiday, expanding with each day that passed. Some met up with study partners, others came looking for research on a particular topic, and others probably just hoped that somehow the studious space would somehow grant them magical intellectual power.

While not the best student, he was far from the worst student, and Simon had already completed nearly all of his assignments. Right now, his purpose at the library was to find a few books that he could check out so he would have some reading material for his holiday break back in London. Granted, he hoped to make a trip to a couple of the stores in Diagon Alley while home, especially Flourish and Blotts, but he wanted to see what books still might call to him there at the school library. This year, he was dedicated himself to learning as much as he possibly could about a certain type of magical being - a magical being that technically had no magic at all, but was still classified as one under the ministry: vampires.

After having taken about eleven books into his hands about the living dead, he scanned around for an open table - something that would not be found that particular day. He did however see a girl at one of the square wooden tables that were large enough to seat four, maybe even six. "Hi there," he said to her. "Mind if I borrow some space?"
