After a day of nonstop working, Suzuki had finally managed to catch a break. He had decided to spend it in the courtyard, sitting on the edge of the fountain, the Hogwarts Headliner in his hands. Earlier in the day, he had gotten his hands on a copy- one that a careless student had left in the halls. Due to his living under a rock, Suzuki had never managed to find a copy before, so this was something new.
He proceeded to spend his limited amount of free time reading about the dangers of miscellaneous creatures such as werewolves and veelas. Suzuki found himself slightly alarmed by the stuff he read. He knew enough about werewolves to know they were dangerous in their wolf forms, but rarely ever in their human forms. After werewolves didn't ask to be werewolves, did they? This school had a bunch of werewolves and other creatures. They were normal, and just kids. He had had a friend back in Japan who was a veela, and she was perfectly normal.
Werewolves weren't bad or anything. Their wolf forms couldn't be controlled, Suzuki knew that much. The article seemed heavily biased against non-humans, and he greatly disliked it. It made werewolves, veelas, half-giants, and all that seem evil, even though in truth very few acted like the description of them. Just because you weren't human didn't mean you were a bad person.

Henry walked through the corridors alone, the third year brushed past groups laughing and chatting with each other.
Looking around, everyone seemed so happy. So normal. Walking through the corridors, not worried about the day or nights ahead. Not worried about someone finding out about a secret or prejudice or rumours going around the school. Not worried.
Loki followed his owner's heels as Henry walked through the corridors, the outburst with Lucia Fox still fresh in his mind even if it had been sometime. The third year could shake away the girl's words or opinions. Her thoughts on non humans and the article in the headliner, that spread lies and rumours just like the daily prophet.
Henry didn't know how anyone could belive that ans he couldn't belive thay he let himself snap. That he allowed the wolf out, the wolf to take control of him like that... that he let his emotions over come him.... it sickening Henrh maybe even more than Lucia's words and thoughts.
The third year stepped outside, looking for a way to breath and relax. Casting a gaze around the courtyard as he started to walk, slipping his hands into his jacket pockets when he saw a vaguely familiar gryffindor reading the headliner.
Wasn't that Kage Suzuki? The gryffindor beater who did that quidditch scrimmage last year?
Henry watched them for a moment before taking a few steps toward them with Loki at his heels, the third year looked at the gryffindor as he spoke" you shouldn't read that. There's only rumours and gossip in there spread by people who aren't affected by it."

He was wrestling with the opinions and all that other shit listed in the article when he heard a voice.
" You shouldn't read that. There's only rumours and gossip in there spread by people who aren't affected by it."
" Huh? Oh yeah, I thought so. It's easy to be scared of or have bad opinions about something you don't know." Suzuki looked up at the guy. He looked familiar. Henry something, if he wasn't mistaken. An orange tabby trailed behind him.
" I like your cat." He remarked, admiring the cat's amber eyes. Suzuki had always wanted a cat himself, but never really had the chance to go and buy one.
He watched his breathe freeze in the cold air, and turned back to the newspaper for a moment, squinting at the small test and moving pictures. The text stated that the opinions were written by a student named T.Ruth, and were affirmed by other writers of the Hogwarts Headliner. Considering the rating of Hogwarts currently, it seemed that the "dangerous" creatures described in the article were not dangerous at all.

Henry didn't want another arguments or fight about a paper or non humans. The teen onlt wanted to e joy his time at hogwarts with friends, going to classes and dueling practices. Getting detentions and pulling pranks, creating memories just like any other student. Except he isn't like any other student.
Henry expected the kid to snap or storm off or ignore him completely. His comment was uncalled for and the third year didn't even know this student so his mind jumped to the worst possible situations. However, none of them came true and the teen listened to their words. They agreed? Well sort of, at least there isn't another unnecessary fight or reason to pull out wands or fists.
The teen nodded to their words, it was correct. The stories in papers tended to be one sides and if there isn't much on the topic then only the negatives were shared. The teen held his hands in his pockets as he looked at the student, Kage Suzuki he gussed as he replied"yeah and papers are the bloody worst when they come to that. When they know little about something then they only share the negatives adding to the fire," Henry shook his head a little as Loki came besides him. Sitting down, amber eyes glistening over his onwer than on the student.
Henry took a moment, remembering past conversations as he spoke"extact reason why I don't read the daily prophet and told my sister to quit the headliner, although she tends to be a little daft since she's still on it," the third year didn't mind sharing the two facts, he haven't picked up a copy of the daily prophet since the age of nine when he read a prejudiced arctle on half breeds and werewolves in it. Henry also told Rose multiple times since the article came out to quit the headliner, telling her it didn't mean anything and only spread gossip but she hadn't yet which involved in the third yesr lightly ignoring her.
However the prior comment ran in his mind, it did sound a little mean as he spoke"I still love her through even if we don't agree at times," not caring to call thr girl his step sister instead as he took his eyes off the paper in the student's hands. If he looked any longer then Henry might have lit it on fire.
Catching the their words, Loki stood up with his feline grin as Henry spoke"Thanks, his name is Loki and I'm Henry. Your Kage Suzuki, right?" the teen thought he remembered seeing them on the gryffindor team last year with Scarlett Aden but couldn't remember.

The boy sat down next to Suzuki, bringing up the fact that his sister was part of the crew that developed the newspapers.
"Thanks, his name is Loki and I'm Henry. Your Kage Suzuki, right?"
" Yep. I believe we played a game of Quidditch against each other, was it? I didn't know you had a sister."
He smiled slightly at the cat, who seemed to have a personality of his own, unlike the fat white street cat that seemed to like farting around Suzuki.
Suzuki squinted at the towers rising up from the mist in the distance.
" You seem to have a pretty harsh opinion on this article in particular. Or maybe it was just because I was reading it. You have experience with ah- the topic of interest here?"
He wasn't sure what to call them. Creatures didn't sound very nice, and Suzuki was trying to be as polite here, as much as he wouldn't mind a fight to improve the year a little. He knew very much what his aunt would say to the "topic of interest" in the article. She would probably curse them away and start listing how dangerous and "un human like", a "disaster and curse on society", ended with a triumphant "humph!". Suzuki had listened to his aunt complain about the many "curses" on societies, but it seemed that all her words had gone in one ear and come right out the other.

The gryffindor was the one who played in the quidditch game, the fact meaning then knew each but Henry was still a little wearily around the matter of topic.
Nodding toward their words, Henry remembered the quidditch game. The game that Cash forced him to do. Henry smiled a littke at his pay back on his friend in a friendly practice duel with them before his face rid itself of emtions. Eyes dsrted back at Kage Suzuki. The teen waited a moment then spoke"yeah, quidditch last year. Technically speaking she's my step sister, my father married over the summer," the teen didn't see any reason to lie or extort the truth. It didn't seem like a big deal to the teen as he continued"I do have a twin sister but she is a squib and also missing." Unsure why he brought Annabeth up, Henry glanced sideways as his anxiety bubbled over head.
Loki rubbed aginest his onwer's legs, nipping at his pants. A distraction. The teen looked down, nodding toward his feline before his boue gaze found the gryffindor. Listening to their words. Henry wasn't sure how to respond, what to say. His opinions at least in his own mind wasn't harsh, he thought they were the truth. Uncall for gossip in the paper.
Blue eyes on the gryffindor as he spoke"I would have said that to anyone, it didn't matter if it was you reading it. Suzuki." The teen felt his mind flicker a little as he thought of a way to choose his next few words carefully. Kneeling down in front of them. Voice barely above a whisper.
"I do have experience with it."

He paused after listening to the boy's somewhat rough sounding life. Suzuki knew what it was like to live a hard life, but Henry's seemed to be rough in a different way.
" Sorry about your sister. I hope- uh, she gets find. And that she's okay." It probably didn't mean that- Suzuki's words weren't magic or anything, but it was all he could think of.
He watched Henry's cat for a moment, and surprising him, Henry turned and whispered, almost suspensefully in Suzuki's ear, "I do have experience with it". He cocked his head, not that surprised. Unless someone was an extreme creature rights person or whatever you call it, they probably wouldn't drop by just to state their opinion on another's reading material.
Just as quietly, he whispered back, " Are you a werewolf or something? I don't have anything against that, just curious."
He glanced back at Henry. He seemed slightly gloomier to day- contrasting the way he'd been at the scrimmage. Maybe something had happened, something to roughen this kid's already rough life. If the answer happened to be yes, Suzuki could only imagine what happened to Henry in his previous years.

The teen examined the area, eyes peeled for any other student or professor that could be there. Watching or maybe evasdropping on the conversation at hand.
Once he made sure that the two of them are completely alone, the teen took a single step forward and in a hush voice spoke"not so loud, not everyone is accepting of half breeds as others are." The teen took a breath, walked a bit closer to the gryffindor till only a half of foot remained between them then rolled up the right sleeve of his jacket. A jagged scar now in view, running alomg his right biscep and down his arm.
"Yes, I am a werewolf but am nothing like some say wolves are."
The teen nodded once to the boy then pulled his sleeve down once more, hiding the scar as he looked over at the gryffindor. Strange. They didn't run or scream or freak out. The teeb smiled softly to them as he spoke"technically I suffer from lycanthropy where I transform into a... a creature during the nights of a full moon." The teen felt strange. Telling someone his fury secret. He knew that he shouldn't have but he wanted to, he wanted to tell them that the prejudices aren't true and that not everyone can be judged off of one person. Not everyone is the same, they all have their differences and own personalities. Each their own person- human.
"Don't tell anyone, please. I like to keep it a secret."

Suzuki's eyebrows jumped up slightly at Henry's statement. What had he really expected? Probably nothing much. He watched the long scar on the boy's arm. He couldn't imagine what it was like to be attacked by a giant not-so-wolfly wolf without warning. Must've been painful. It was a big ass scar too- Suzuki's small marring couldn't really compare. Plus, this was a werewolf- not a random kid on the street's fist.
"Yes, I am a werewolf but am nothing like some say wolves are," Henry said in a barely audible voice.
Suzuki nodded. " People have skewed views of the unknown." He understood that werewolves couldn't control themselves when they turned into wolves. Which was mainly why people were scared of them, he assumed. But, of course, there were the.... Others. The people who happened to be both a werewolf and nuts.
"Don't tell anyone, please. I like to keep it a secret."
He nodded again, " Of course. Ah- if I may- how did it happen?" Suzuki hoped he wasn't being rude, but he was curious about how Henry had ended up a werewolf.

Eyes flickered around the courtyard. Empty besides from the two of them, picking up his nose as he sniffed once looking for a scent that can be looming out of sight. Nothing. Nodding to the emptiness, Henry took a half step closer to the gryffindor. Filling in more of the space so he could whisper freely and quietly.
He heard their words, a soft smile appeared on his lips as the teen spoke"that they do but unfortunately rumours seem more popular among half breeds then the truth," a voice a quiet whisper lined with a deep British accent. Light and airy yet low. Boue eyes watched the gryffindor carefully something seem differnt about them compared to others, a good different though.
Loki sat besides Henry, chest held out and head held high. Amber eyes examining Kage Suzuki. The feline flick his tail, unsure what to think of the student.
Henry heard their questions, blue gaze kn Suzuki as he thought for a moment then ran his fingers over his right arm to indicate the scar as he spoke"a transformation over the summer with my own claws," a small smile back toward the gryffindor his mind knowing well that they asked about how they became a werewolf and not now they got the scar. Byt the first story is more painful for him to say.
