When the lesson tells us to 'copy the steps and grades' does it mean to follow the steps in that order, or to copy and paste them within our homework?

You just copy the questions and their scoring points and then paste that in the homework.

Yup, when you go to your profile picture or your avatar and click on report card, then you'll be able to do the assignments.

Hi there! I'm not an expert so someone can feel free to correct me, but the homework system is available after 10 days of registration and 20 posts on the site! You can do the homework to earn points for your house, and the skills you learn in the homework can be used in roleplaying. For instance, the spells you learn can be used in duelling. 

In the meantime, you can participate in the RPs and interact that way!

Indeed, doing the homework has helped me with my homework in real life, I pay more attention and I add more details, as they require you to do on here. So it isn't completely useless.
