Fall Ball
No sooner had June spilled the beans on what was going, did she realize what she was doing. she had basically just run away danger, even though people were gettinghurt. She was stupid and couldnt believe she did that. She ran her hand through her messy hair. "What Am I doing?" She asked herself. She turned to Lin and grabbed her arms. " We have to go back. We have to do something!" Her dad's side was kicking in. The images of blood, knifes, claws, people Crum blip ing to the ground filled her head again. If they wanted their students to feel safe, why didn't they start with making them safe? She shook her head. This school would seriously be the death of her.
She didn't know if her friends were coming with her or not, but she turned around and took off one of her doc Martens. No questions were to be asked about her actions as she made her way back to the chaos in one shoe. The plan was simple. (Maybe) start knocking people upside the head with the shoe (or her fist). And if they were freaking out about a snail, she'd smash it! Simple. Easy.

Fall Ball
It was dark. Della could hear other students moving, casting spells, and groaning. She desperately wished she had learned more useful spells at this point. She struggled to lift the pole off Ming's body—she just wasn't strong enough (she was only eleven after all). Ming was still silent. "Hey can you hear me?" In the darkness, she felt something wet; it was thicker than water. Please don't be blood. Please don't be blood. Please be wizard punch or butterbeer or something.@Hui Ming | open to interactions
Suddenly, there was light. Della could see around her. The soft part of the tent had been lifted off their heads—magically most likely. Could someone please lift the heavy parts off the students? Della looked at the substance on her fingertips—Ming was bleeding! "Hey help! I need help over here!" she yelled desperately, hoping her voice would carry to a competent adult or at least a capable prefect.
Now that there was more room above her, Della got to her feet and tried to use her back and leg strength to help her pick the pole off of the Slytherin boy's crumpled form. The sight of the blood had caused a spurt of adrenaline to course through her veins—maybe that would be enough.

Enzo responded, his eyes squinting as he looked around at the mess surrounding them. "No idea... god, I swear, we can never catch a break with this mad school. It always got to be something"
He let out an exasperated sigh. There was not a single time that he had come to this school and nothing completely insane happened. Perhaps that was part of the allure though, and the reason why he kept returning despite all the nonsense that seemed to shroud the place. He was oddly drawn to the adventures he found himself in, and as long as he had his trusty wand, there was nothing to worry about in the slightest.
Slipping his hand into his pocket to make sure his wand was still safe and sound, Enzo glanced over at Val with a 'must we?' look, as he suggested that they help. Now in truth, he was not heartless enough to stand by and just watch people get injured, however, from his vantage point, everyone seemed to be fending for themselves perfectly fine. But, as he thought more about it, his seldom seen morals eventually crept up to him, and he supposed it was indeed the proper thing to do in a situation like this, so he finally nodded his head, still slightly hesitant but he agreed to make sure everyone was alright.
Enzo's icy stare drifted over to where his friend had motioned towards and his gaze fall back upon the two boys from earlier, and after observing them for a moment, he let out an irritated scoff. Merlin, could those two get any more insufferable? Fawning over each other as if the world had ended, just gross.
"Ah don't bother with those idiots, let them play knight and damsel in distress"
They out of all people would certainly not be on the receiving end of Enzo's few moments of concern for the wellbeing of someone else other than himself. Not in a million years would he ever let that happen.
Enzo turned back around to face Val his expression softening slightly as he decided it was time to forget about the weirdos altogether and leave them to their silly whims. They were not worth his energy any longer.
As he began to move farther away from them, he reached into his pocket then pulled out his wand just in case he would need to use it at a moment's notice, then motioned for Val to come along with him to look around.
"Okay, lets go help... just not them, anyone else but them"

@Flash Holmwood
Having lived in Hogwarts for two years now, Opeila shouldn't be surprised about drama at a ball anymore. And, actually, she wasn't. It was more of a very bitter feeling inside her stomach that threatened to make her cry in anger and disappointment. Couldn't they just have one ball in peace? Didn't Flash and her actively walk away from what looked like it could turn into a fight? Hadn't they just gone to a peaceful place and danced?
From one second to the next the atmosphere in the tent changed rapidly. The festive mood was suddenly blown up- like, well, the tent. Quite literally. At first Opeila didn't see the tent falling down, but when Flash suddenly tightened his grip, she instinctively did the same, her heart racing. Flash called a name, then suggested to look for an exit. Opeila nodded wordlessly, looking at the people around her rather than for an exit. Was there anyone she knew? Anyone in need of help?
Unsuccessful in her brief search, Opeila left the tent with her friend, the fear of a piece of tent falling on her head making her jumpy. "Are you alright?", she asked Flash and tried to orient herself in the chaos around them.
It was colder outside now, it was raining heavily and Opeila, with nothing but her thin black dress began to shiver. The ribbon that had tied her hair together fell to the ground, but she didn't look for it again. She barely heard what Flash and the other girl were saying, only when they took action, she decided to follow their example. Trying not to tremble, she pointed her wand at the tent. "Wingardium Leviosa!"
Action: Helping Flash and Eun-ji levitate the tent.

Fall Ball

During the chaos, a small voice started screeching at him from a small body. AT the very least, the banshee identified herself, talking frantically about people getting stabbed in the direction Rion had gone earlier. "Yer kiddin' me..." Was it possible that things were even worse over there? He was only one nurse, and there was so much blood to staunch. At the very least, he was relieved to see a few of the students were successfully doing some triage of their own.
Seeing the spell sputter uselessly from his wand, Kels would sigh defeatedly. Weather stuff was not his specialty, but he thought for sure that would work. Admittedly, he had never seen it used on a storm before, but he used it so often while he was traveling to get his room just the way he liked it. Well, failure was a chance to learn, at least. As much as he wished that he could have made things easier on everyone, there were now more important things on his mind. Like people being stabbed.
With the tent now fully floating thanks to the efforts of the many, Kels could see Nigel and Tuesday clearly. He'd need to keep them informed before disappearing. He couldn't even count on his hands how many times he had been written up for suddenly being gone when an emergency drew him away from his current task. Jogging up to Tuesday, who seemed to be unharmed but in some state of shock. Snapping his fingers in front of the plant boy's face, he'd try to bring him back to reality. "Wake up, pal!"
Not stopping to make sure the message got through, he'd move on to Nigel in a hurry. "Sorry, man, I gotta go to t'other party, some kid is talkin' about knives." He'd shake his head, his eyes wide in disbelief. Apparently, schools were not actually all that different from war zones. "Funnel these munchkins to t'hospital wing an' I'll meetcha there."
Having done his part in helping no one, he'd dash off to bloodier pastures.

#274782 Blue in English, #a62b2b Red in KoreanWith both Flash and Aaron joining the team, Eun-ji felt slightly more confident about the plan. Surely not all would fail at the same time? And to her utter relief, they did not. In fact, all three of them succeeded in their efforts. “Good job,” she told the boys immediately. Of course, it was not just them. Clearly, some others from inside the tent helped, considering the whole thing was now floating in the air. Eun-ji felt slightly guilty because unlike the Erecto spell, they would have to keep the levitation charm going, which meant all of them were pretty much stuck now. Despite all this and despite looking about as cold as Eun-ji felt, Opeila eventually decided to aid their efforts as well for which she was grateful. People obviously needed help inside but there were others that could do that. Eun-ji didn’t want to risk letting go of the fabric now.
Standing next to the now risen tent, the Ravenclaw finally took the opportunity to properly assess the situation. Oh no…is that...? “Oppa! Ye-jun-ah! Over here!” She called out to the familiar figure. In fact, there were two. Oppa means older brother in Korean. It is also used when a woman is calling or talking to an older man whether he is related to her or not. The boy looked unhurt but she wasn’t sure about Lucia. She had to keep concentrating on her spell, which didn’t give her much time to investigate further. “Sorry…That’s my cousin,” she explained why she was suddenly shouting. Then she remembered her train conversation with Aaron. “In my defense, we haven’t seen each other for five years…which were obviously very generous to him.” Eun-ji didn’t want her friend to think that she had some unreasonable beauty standards. She wasn’t lying when she said Ye-jun wasn’t particularly good looking. Back then, he really wasn’t but life worked in mysterious ways and for once, the girl didn’t mind. He was a good person and he deserved nice things.
If she was perfectly honest, the witch wanted nothing more than to go check up on her rediscovered family member and friend but she wouldn’t allow herself to lose focus. She had a job to do. Luckily, she needn’t have worried for the boy noticed her immediately. In fact, it seemed like he was already looking for someone prior to her call. “Eun-ji-ya!” He called right back before saying something to Lucia. Probably asking her to join him as he went to see his cousin? She couldn’t quite hear from where she was standing but it was as good of a guess as any.

Fall Ball
There was a particular wonder when chaos came to rear its ugly head—the cause for his sudden and incomprehensible urge to watch in complete shock. Tuesday had been forewarned about the hell that had overshadowed Hogwarts. A nightmare that the students and faculty apparently had grown accustomed to. The American had seen quite a bit of terrible things in his previous line of work, but nothing like this involving this many children. A nervous bubble grew like a terrible storm in his stomach to the point of near bursting.
The world spun so quickly as a tent quickly fell like a veil of darkness only to be ripped towards the sky. Still, Tuesday stood still, just watching the struggle. It was like he was observing one of those muggle films, with their impossibilities and blatant disregard for how reality indeed behaved. Yet could this honestly be real? In almost an instant, things went from bad to worse in every way possible. It seemed like the only logical next step for things to get worse was if inferni came raining from the sky.
Thankfully the only storm that seemed to be brewing was one of natural means. It took only a moment of a person snapping to wake the man from his slackjawed contemplation. There wasn't fear in his eyes but rather the determination to understand why these events occurred. Tuesday was never a fan of being left in the dark, but now was not the time for anger in his lack of knowledge or curiosity. Now was the time for action.
Tuesday nodded at Kelsey, blinking back into reality and away from his observer position. "Right- Sorry." was all he had to say before unholstering his wand from the slender and deep pocket inside his fancy and dirt-stained jacket. The first and most clear and present danger was the pole crushing children under its immense weight. How could he have been so stupid to have just been standing around!
"Wingardium Leviosa!" The man bellowed out the levitation charm incantation, along with a swish and a flick of his wand. Every bit of his energy focused on helping these children with the beam.

Haley's attempt to find a way out had failed and, frustrated, she lowered the part of the tent she had lifted. She turned around and could see that Simon, on the other hand, had succeeded. "Great." She muttered much more to herself and sprinted back to Simon. But she did not agree with his suggestions. "Gosh Simon don't be silly." She said almost angrily. Did he really think she would just leave him here and go? No way.
Haley grabbed hold of the heavy pole and tried to move it when she was thrown off by another voice and let go again to look in the direction of the voice. It was a friend of Simon's, Haley thought she remembered them seeing each other at a ball before but she wasn't sure and she didn't really care at that moment. Sam, as Simon called her, now said that they had to get him out of here. Haley suppressed a roll of her eyes. No shit, sherlock, she thought to herself, as if that wasn't obvious. But Haley knew her reaction was due to all the stress and didn't want to take it out on someone who wanted to help. "Let's try to lift the pole." Haley confirmed to Sam and went back to grabbing.
Haley ignored Simon's words for them both to leave the tent and simply didn't answer him. She was now concentrating on the extra help and nodded her approval as she went to the bottom of the pole. She wasn't sure but she hoped that the three of them, especially with the strength of a dhampir, could actually manage to free Simon. "On Three!" shouted Haley to the two, waiting for everyone to be ready. "One...Two...Three." She counted and now tried to lift the pole with all her strength.

Fall Ball

He cut a slit into the roof of the tent that had pinned him to the ground. Bruised and weary, Pride was not a physical man, just a beautiful one. He would crawl out from beneath the canvas and call out winnie's name. Why his first thought was her he would never know. He would hear his name called back, muffled and not far. Like the rest, she was pinned beneath the tarp as the storm rolled in. Perhaps Winnie's terror was on point this time. "I'm coming," he called. No snarky comments, he was really coming. He heard her voice coming from this direction he thought. "Winnie call out again," he instructed. "I need to find you and not step on you," he did not care too much if he stepped on anyone else. They should have watched where he was going, he was making penty enough noise. Armed with a rather pathetic blade, it would suffice in this moment he reasoned. he just needed to find her.
If she called out to him again. If he got close, he would have said something dramatic. Made it look good, not that such was much of a stretch for the teen. Yet he would never have the opportunity, even if he found her as the tent was propelled upward. As an unseen force would push the tent erect. Pride would attempt to regain his footing on a structure that as never intended to be stood upon.
Unknown if Mathias tumbled off the tent, ripped through the tent or by the grace of Merlin remained up there. If he fell, as Winnie experienced freedom, she was no longer pinned by the tent she would see or at the very least hear a holy-hell! And then an unceremonious thud, be it through or off the edge. If he somehow remained standing. if he somehow did not rip the tent, his ego would only grow larger. He was really unstoppable! The only issue was getting down on purpose. He would find a pole, likely the central one if her remained up there somehow and grip it like a lost lover.

He was succeeding. Well, maybe only a half. Indeed, the spell worked fabulously, cutting a hole on the tent enough for a person to crawl out. But - but it seemed that Tyche, the goddess of luck, just wasn’t favoring him today. Unexpectedly he got hurt again in the process, thanks to some broken glasses - Maxi groaned under his breath. He couldn’t see clearly with the thick fabric upon his head, but he could feel the small drops of liquid. Blood. And that was simply terrifying.
He blinked to refocus on the matter itself, hoping to swap the feel of pain out of his head. Half turned to the three people beside, Maxi tried to form a smile. He did it, for the smile was elegant -in true French grace. He felt Mademoiselle (=Miss) Rose’s hand on his arms, and that actually made him feel better. Oh, for Merlin’s sake, he was not being that useless in front of her. It was truly a weird feeling, but he was really, really eager to “show off” a little bit to her. To show that he was capable and was worth to be a friend, maybe. He wasn’t very sure about that. Mademoiselle Rose was charming. In her own way, probably, and Maxi could feel the enchantment. Ah, if they could just stay like this forever, with her hand on his arm…
Ye-jun praised him for his effort, and Mademoiselle Rose managed to lend him a hand and heal him a bit. Maxi could feel that he was gaining some stamina in his veins - though Rose’s spell, unlike Ye-jun’s, did not support him with a bandage to stop his bleed on the other arm that Rose was not pressing on. But her healing was already enough, as he was feeling much better now. And you couldn’t really ask for more to an unknown lady that you’ve just known for some minutes, could you? Gratefully he smiled at her and gave her a cheerful nod to show that her spell was effective on him. “Thank you, Mademoiselle. It’s really kind of you.”
It seemed that some students had already escaped, for the tent suddenly floated in the air. He could see the entrance now, not so difficult for them to approach - but still, a bit far away. Eyeing the opening he had cut, Maxi decided that it was far better an option. He trusted his own spell better. After all, the opening he made was enough for a person to get through - and he couldn’t see the point of seeking another entrance with such a nice passageway just beside them.
Ye-jun was bust calling out to someone, whom he evidently wanted to check on. When he was not so occupied, Maxi would give him a nod. “If you guys get ready, we may - we may get out of this place.” he suggested, in his usual mild tone. “Or do you want to…converse a bit with the person you were just calling out to? It’s never mind if you wish to join them along with this lady.” he inquired Ye-jun and nodded to Lucia. Really, he wouldn’t mind that.
Poking his head out the tent a bit, he frowned upon the heavy storm. In a minute, Maxi couldn’t tell whether standing in the storm or getting stuck in this awful place forever sounded better. England was indeed a dangerous place, with harsh weather and unexpected mishaps happening around. But he had to get out. At least, no matter what others would think, Maxi wanted to survive - and the first step was to break free.
“I’ll try and go first.” he offered, while gently drew his arm out under Rose’s hand. He would give her a supportive and encouraging look before doing so, and ventured into his mission. His scratch on the other arm still hurt - when he attempted to escape from the opening, the wound might be visible to his companions. His mind ran fast. Now if he’s out in the open air and under the storm, how could he protect himself from the heavy rain? And especially when he had a scratch on his arm which would definitely hurt if touched by water? Or maybe more, how could he help his companions if they did follow him and found themselves in the storm also? He had to return Mademoiselle Rose’s favor, at least. Nevertheless, Maxi had an idea.
