Preparations for Christmas: Photo Shoot Closed

It was Saturday, December 12th and just after Lunch. The nice thing about Saturdays was that one didn't have to wear their house uniform and therefore Simon was already wearing the attire that he would for his photoshoot. The photographer would be Willow Greene, a Slytherin he had met, and the final project would be a photograph which he would frame and give to his Aunt Maggie at Christmastime. He was looking forward to it, knowing it would not only be a perfect gift but also that he would get to spend time with a new friend.

He had brought with him some sweatshirts and while perhaps not the most stylish, it was not only hwat he felt most comfortable in but it was what his Aunt Maggie, and pretty much anyone else, would see him wear when not in school or formal attire. It was quite Simon Kincaid.

He also brought his guitar in case Willow should want to perhaps take any shots with it and he made his way out to the school grounds where the two were to meet. Getting there first, he assumed, since he didn't see her around, he took a seat on the stone stairs of the Entrance Hall. The sky above was overcast and what he read in his books he had gotten about photography that was actually the best sort of sky for taking photographs - especially midday. The sun wouldn't be casting harsh shadows on things that would be tricky to manage.
