Hunter was quietly roaming the almost empty large corridor, having just come from charms class with slight anticipation. His short steps of a tempo echoed throughout the long hallway, but weren't as noticeable as the whispers of surrounding students having their meek conversations. It was around 16:20, free time was in action, and it was only less than two hours till Dinner was to be served down in the Great Hall. Hunter was unsure of how to spend the time he was given, and decided to just ponder a bit. He walked over to one of the many window sills of the corridor, decorated by the autumnal light of the sun with a warmth that brought a feeling of giddy if one were to touch the stone of the sill or the glass of the window. Hunter sat by the low-large sill, and decided to just gaze out into the vast sky of clouds and witness a few owls flying by. He wondered a bit as to why his house was represented by an eagle; why not an owl? Owls are considered to be so incredibly wise that they were depicted as the messengers of Athena as Hunter recalled. Although, the eagle is a rather valiant bird that was represented by Zeus from Greek mythology. Perhaps the eagle wasn't as bad as Hunter thought, although he'd prefer if the house would be called a "parliament" rather than a "convocation" as people would call a group of owls and a group of eagles respectively. The movement of the owls was inspiring, they seemed so free and alive. They actually inspired Hunter to remember a little trick of his.

Hunter removed from his stacks of notes a piece of paper with no writing upon it, he sat by the window sill and folded the paper in almost complete silence. After about a bit of time, Hunter stood in slight awe at his work of a small Origami bird. It wasn't incredibly impressive, nor was it flashy in any sort of way, but it was something to do rather than nothing. In fact, the previous day's Hunter had been crafting all sorts of Origami creatures due to boredom. One day, he had the fun idea of spreading the animals out into the school, and if someone found them they could keep them as fun little gifts. Eventually, though, he had an idea to make it more of a challenge for other students to find his measly works of art. Unfortunately, Hunter hasn't found any other students that seemed to be interested in his game idea, some were too busy with their homework, and others didn't have a strong interest in the idea of running through the school in search of ordinary pieces of paper. "Ordinary..." Hunter thought. He gave himself a few seconds to ponder, as he gazed at the little paper bird in front of him. It didn't seem special, nor did it have any sort of significance. It wasn't free like the owls outside the window, nor did it scream "magic" like the other activities Hunter had been engaged in throughout the passing days.

Eventually, Hunter gained a rather fun idea. He looked behind himself and in the front of himself down the long corridor and those who walked in it. It only comprised of students, and Hunter hadn't noticed any prefects yet. He took out his wand, and pointed it towards the tiny paper-made bird, and Hunter whispered "Tarantallegra...," while moving his wand in the motion of a cursive lower case "R." Nothing worked for a quick second, but the tiny paper immediately began to do a motion of jumping back-and-forth, and back-and-forth as if jumping in glee rather than that of dancing. The Origami wasn't one of Hunter's best, and it had rather tiny feet/legs that probably made it hard for it to actually dance. Hunter recalls from charms class that as long as the object has legs, it should be capable of dancing. Nonetheless, Hunter gained the sort of effect he wanted, the inanimate animal now seemed more life-like. Perhaps this is what his game idea was missing, perhaps this is what would cause other students to have more interest and play with it. As Hunter admired his work of folding paper and casting a newly learned spell, he recalled that the corridor he was in should have at least one of his previously hidden origami already. He jumped off the low stone window sill, and shoved the jumping paper-bird into his robe.

Hunter ventured down the corridor and saw a row of a few metal knights standing upon small stone podiums. He rushed a little to the middle of the row; having to squeeze himself past other students due to his skinny body and short height. The crowd of students wasn't as heavily dense as between classes, but Hunter always found an issue of getting by others. Soon after, he reached the armor of a tall nicely shined knight with a shield in his hand. Hunter knelt down to one of the knight's feet, and looked to reach behind it. He moved his hand in search of something. He blindly felt for whatever it was, but eventually came out with a hand full of nothing but air and dust. Hunter became overwhelmed with a shock of anxiety. He was certain the origami should be behind this knight's foot. He got up and thought for a moment, "D-Did someone already find it? No, they'd have to be really good at finding things to have noticed that one, unless it somehow fell out by like a gust of wind. I don't want to have to search all of these knights..." Hunter whispered to himself. He looked left and right of the corridors and noticed that students were beginning to leave the area, almost emptying the whole place. The Origami had to be around by one of these knights, Hunter hoped that it wasn't found already, and perhaps a student won't question his actions on searching all of these knights. Or perhaps that is exactly what he wanted, as then he could introduce his game to a new challengar.

Youssuf sighed. He was just passing time after Charms class, since he had a free period for about two hours till dinner in the Great Hall. He turned his attention back to the book he was reading, an old fave of his - Jurassic Park by Michael Crichton. He was perching on a windowsill, a rather broad one, too. He watched bemusedly as a Ravenclaw first-year sat near the window down the corridor from his.

There was only one other student in the hall, but he couldn't quite see the face, just that she appeared to be a Gryffindor. He turned his attention back to the Ravenclaw, who had made an origami crane! That brought back so many memories of Youssuf and his mom sitting together, learning how to make origami cranes and birds and tigers. The Ravenclaw looked around furtively, and then cast the Dancing Feet Spell on the crane. Youssuf had just learned that spell yesterday - Tarantallegra.

The little bird shook and shivered, and Baid stifled a laugh. It looked positively ludicrous! Then the student shoved the moving bird into his pocket and walked towards the metal knights on the other side of the room. Youssuf turned his attention away from him, and spotted a tiny glimmer of white, just at the ankle of the knight at the far left. He rushed towards it, noticing that this knight seemed to be more rusty than the others. The Ravenclaw was fumbling behind another knight a few metres away.

Youssuf saw a small origami crane behind the knight. He grabbed it, only to notice that it wouldn't move! He tugged at it, but it was unyielding. Then Youssuf Baid spotted the hand clutching it as well, from the other side.

Wandering the corridors had become a habit of sorts for the young Gryffindor. Lizzy had constantly been exploring everything back home in London, and here it seemed it was no different. Though these corridors had been walked through countless times, she enjoyed coming back to the familiar path purely because interesting things always seemed to happen there. Day or night, Hogwarts was always with some new adventure to partake in.

A flash of movement out the window caught Lizzy's eye. She quickly made her way over to the said window, peering out curiously. Some winged creature flew by faster than the speed of light before disappearing back into the clouds once more. Deciding to rest here for a moment, Lizzy leaned up against the windowsill. She watched a candle flicker and burn down for a little bit, though she knew it would never actually burn out unless the spell caster wanted it to.

Turning away from the mesmerizing flame, Lizzy noticed for the first time that she was not alone in the hallway. Two other boys occupied it, one a Gryffindor like her, and another a Ravenclaw. She silently watched the two bustle about. The Ravenclaw was casting a spell on something he was holding. Lizzy couldn't quite make out what it was. The Gryffindor, on the other hand, was simply perched in another windowsill reading a book.

That's when she saw it. A tiny white something, half hidden behind the foot of a giant metal knight. Lizzy made up her mind to go investigate what exactly the little white thing was. Crouching down beside the knight, she was able to get a much better view of the object. It was a little origami crane! It was quite odd to have such a thing placed there, so she reached for it to study closer.

However, it stayed firmly in place, unmoving from its original position. Her eyes narrowed as she tugged it just a bit harder. Enough to jolt it out, but not accidentally rip it. Then Lizzy noticed the hand holding it on the other side of the knight. Smiling, she let go to move on the other side of the knight to see who had the other part of the bird in their grip.

It was the Gryffindor boy she had seen just a few moments ago, and with a start, Lizzy realized she knew him. It was Youssuf Baid, one of the people invited to the library for a D&D roleplay. Lizzy grinned, "We meet again Youssuf, or should I say Amakir?"

Just a few feet away, she spotted the Ravenclaw searching frantically behind the other knights in the corridor. Perhaps he was looking for the bird as well. "I think that boy over there is looking for this," she said, indicating the bird now in Youssuf's hand.
