OMG This Sucks
OMG this like totally sucks.Note: The character's sentiments arte in no way a reflection of my own.
Three months into her first year and her feelings had not changed. Gryffindor was a house or egotistical, prideful, idiots. A-and they totally smelled! She could not stand another hour in a house full of bros of dudes that would be better versed in doing keg stands than cracking a book. Of course she fit right in, not that she would admit that. She thought with her heart more than her head. She rushed headfirst into things and her passions directed her more than her mind even if she often claimed what she did was well thought out, even logical.
She was incredibly vain also. Naturally pretty, not that this made her unique in a school of child models. The boon of having magic to ensure clear skin, tamed hair and straight teeth, being hideous in this school would be more unique than beautiful. It was cold in the Owlry, the closest public space near her true house, Ravenclaw. She was wearing a cozy black slouchy neck sweater that was a bit too long for a girl of such short (average for her age) stature, the hem at mig thigh. She was wearing a pair of dark slacks and tall boots that were more fashionable than they were warm.
She would pace back and forth in the owlery annoying the owls that brooded there with her muttering and her grumbling. "Un-be-leave-able. Such idiots. I am too smart for this..." For a silent observer, Mezmarat not the most observative, they would hear her prattle on with similar statements lacking context. She did not belong, not in Gryffindor at the very least.

OMG This Sucks
Sunday 21st November 2021 (Backdated)
Lily was climbing the last few stairs of the spiral staircase leading to the owlery when she heard a voice. She couldn't make out any words and she stops there, hesitating to go further up for the moment. Due to the freezing air of early December, she had expected to be the only student here. "Well, she thought, I don't want to have climbed all those stairs for nothing." So she started to climb the stairs again until she reached the door of the first level.
Now, she could hear the voice better. She understood a couple of words: "unbelievable" and also "idiots". She stopped again, "Someone is in a bad mood", she thought. Fortunately, the voice sounded like it was coming from the second level, and Lily figured she would have no trouble sending her letter and slipping out of the owlery without being seen. Since she didn't have an owl of her own yet, she approached a school owl and gave it the letter she had written the day before to her family along with a small package.

United KingdomHey little brother,
Yesterday, I was trading chocolate frogs cards with my roommates and I got one I know you've been dying to get your hands on! I'm not telling you which one it is, you'll have to open the package. Consider this an early Christmas present.
Say hi to mum, grandma and grandpa for me! You know how I love it here, but I'm actually pretty excited to come home for Christmas. It's been a while and I'm starting to miss you all. A friend of mine taught me how to knit and I made grandma a scarf she's gonna love. By the way, don't forget to get mum a present!
See you soon, xxx
Lily, with love
Even though she couldn't hear the voice anymore, she hurried out anyway as soon as the owl was out of sight... only to slip on a patch of ice and fall on her butt in a very ungraceful way. She prayed that whoever was in the owlery when she got there had left...

OMG This Sucks
The girl was too agitated for the conversation that never happened. A girl would slip into the owlery, avoiding her before seeing the owl take off with her letter to her family. She would leave the Gryffindor to her devices as she ranted to an unseen sympathetic ear.
The girl would come and go, never bothering with Mezmarat. Avoidance was preferable to confrontation, to dealing with whatever injustice or drama that the girl was spouting on about. It was not her problem and in silent betrayal of her house, she lacked the curiosity that was characteristic of her colors. The same could not be said of the raving lunatic Lily attempted to avoid. Indeed, she was unnoticed by the furious girl who could hold a grudge as she slunk back out of the Owlery.
A scrape and a thunk, the stranger did not get very far. The curious, ill-placed lioness would follow the unfortunate noise to find the felled girl. A simple, plain little thing she thought arrogantly. "Could not even be bothered to say anything, who do you think you are?" A half rhetorical question really that sounded more like a mean-girls tag-line. She was bull-headed and prideful, a narcissist rather than a scholar. "Like seriously look at you," she complained as if she was giving a monologue for a live studio audience.
