Most likely, I find it odd that she would do it, bold of her, because of the time period and all

I believe I have heard somewhere that JK indeed said that Dumbledore was gay, but that she didn't mention it in the Harry Potter books because it's quite unusually for a headmaster to share his sexuality with his students.

True- but he also didn't talk about Grinderwald and the fact that they were close but his brother did.

That makes sense, it would be odd if a headmaster was telling students his sexuality with his students, even if he was straight or gay

Yes, I mean, I know people that do that, to kids, but maybe to show a sense of superiority, but nevertheless, I like the Harry Potter story despite it's backstory. Tho I do want to read a fanfic with Al Potter and Scoripus Malfoy. (I think that ship was already there anyways)
