Solo A Letter To No one. Closed

Anna climbed the stairs alone to the owlery, debating in her mind if she should continue forward or retreat into her dorm room to hide away her letters under her mattress, pretending they didn't exist.
Anna sat down and read one of the letters for the fifth time that evening.
Dear Liam Blair,

I know this might be strange receiving a letter from an Owl from the school of Hogwarts, but you must read this letter.
I am Anna Blair, your daughter. Ever since you left I have become stronger! I am now in Hogwarts and I have many friends now. I even flew on a broomstick like you when you played Quidditch. When I left, Mother told me to never come back to her house and I believed she had moved houses since I left for Hogwarts, which is okay.
I don't know where you are or where you went all those years ago, but I was wondering if you would be able to house me in the summer? It is fine if you can't, I'll find a way but it would be nice to see you again. I miss you.
Write back soon!

Anna Blair
Anna stared at the words on the paper for a long time and decided to read another letter before making her decision.

Dear Liam Blair,
I am addressing you as Liam Blair so if anyone found this letter and they somehow knew you, they could deliver it to you.
Mother thinks you are dead, and so does everyone else. I know you are still alive, I can sense it.
But why would you leave? I mean, I understand wanting to escape that hag of a woman but why would you leave me with her?
Write back soon.

Anna Blair.
Anna's eye sight got blurry from the tears welling up behind her eyes. She crumbled that letter and threw it as far away from her as she could. She wiped her eyes and opened another letter.

Dear Liam Blair,
I got an A in Herbology!
Anna skimmed through the letter.

Wish I could find you so I could send these letters.
Write back soon!

Anna Blair.
Another letter thrown to the ground.

Dear Liam,
Are you looking for me?
Write back soon,

Anna Blair.
Dear Liam,
It's really hard to make friends here
write back soon,

Anna Blair.
Anna opened the last letter

Dear father,

You are the only one who has loved me. I don't even know where you are. You can't be dead, that's impossible. I asked professors about you, I went to the library to research anything related to you, I looked at the past Quidditch teams and still no trace of you.

I miss you, dad.

Anna Blair.
Anna was crying now and decorating her papers with tears. She missed her father dearly, and wanted to see him again even if it was a glance. She had to know if her father was really alive.

After a few minutes of heart wrenching thoughts, Anna picked her crumbled letters off the ground and smoothed them out as much as she could. She put them back into her bag and walked back down the stairs of the Owlery without sending a single letter. Perhaps another day for poor Anna.
