The weird truth
Clair was weird, ok weird was an understatement! Clair had stood out, she had been the
'Class clown' in Muggle school, she had be the dumb person in Muggle sports, she had been the clumsy child in Karate and Defense classes, yeah that's right, Clair had been a failed attempt, she had at one time been 'normal' if that was a thing. At one point in her life she had been the normal everyday child, at one point she had had tons of friends like Marcelle, and Janet, and Fern, and Lavender oh lavender... Clair had been an every day child with no magic at all she had not even heard of magic, when her oldest sister, Belle, proved to be magical, her mother had shunned Belle, poor Belle had gone to Hogwarts school of witchcraft and Wizardry alone, and worst of all, she had done it without any friends, Misty had hoped her other two daughters would be normal, she bad hoped her other two off-spring would not have an ounce of Magic in their blood, she had not told Izzy anything, and Clair had been to young to understand. When Izzy was 8 she had her first instance of magic, it had been at Christmas with the whole family was back together, Belle being home from school for Christmas break, Clair had started to tell Belle about the donut she had eaten, Izzy had wanted a donut but had been told no and was now mad, As Clair told Belle about her chocolate glazed donut, Izzy was getting madder, and madder.
All of the sudden the Christmas tree light on fire, nothing around the tree or u der the tree was harmed, but the tree was ashes.
Misty had punished Belle, thinking that the poor young witch had done it, but Belle had known it was Izzy, three years later Izzy had been accepted into Hogwarts, and 8 year old Clair still did not know where her older sisters had gone, this same year Paul, her father had died, this crushed Clair, but Misty had been even more crushed, needing a reason, Misty blamed her husband's death on Belle, who had just finished School at Hogwarts, by now Clair had shown no Magic, this made the still grieving Misty happy, she hoped that her last child would stay Uncorrupted, she had hoped in vain though, because when Clair was at school the on day in Grade four Clair had moved a desk, without touching it.
As soon as Misty learned about this she had been heartbroken, but Clair had had it easier then her sisters, her friends had all ditched her sure, but now Clair had her older sister who was in third year to support her, she now had people to help her, unlike Izzy and Belle, Clair had a chance, she could do it, and she did have a chance, that was until she got sorted into Ravenclaw and Izzy had held a grudge against her little sister for not being in the same house.....
Clair rushed down the hall, she had to use the bathroom before her next class, which was History of magic, one of the most boring classes on the face of the earth, 'Let the Muggle kids cry over having to do Math! It's fun when you've done History of Magic!' she thought with contempt and she rushed into a stall in the girls' washroom. It was not to want to miss the next class, it was really easy. As she did her business Clair started to play with her wand, it was a odd habit she had, at muggle school Clair had done the same thing with pens, she had moved them forward and back, forward and back.
She got up and left the stall, as she washed her hands the door opened, she did not pay any attention though, She was too lost in thought about her sister to care....

WHAT IF I FALL? OH, MY DARLING
WHAT IF YOU FLY?
WHAT IF YOU FLY?

The weird truth
The loud footsteps of a tall girl sounded throughout the bathroom, reflecting off the walls. Edme had been rushing all over the castle in search of this place, she would not be leaving because of how loud her boots were. She hurried to the sink, hands soaking in the warm water and washing off the excess of dirt from her time outside. This is what she got for being careless. Her hazel eyes were written in worry as she scrubbed until her hands were as clean as could be.
She was just about to start searching in her satchel for a mint when it went flying over her shoulder and hit the other girl.
"Oh, I am so sorry!" She reached into her bag for a bandage or gum at the very least, as an apology of course.
She never seemed to be able to do things right. It was always her tall frame walking into someone who was just trying to eat lunch or her loud boots stepping on someones foot while they attempt to navigate the seemingly endless winding halls of Hogwarts.
Edme grabbed out a piece of licorice and threw it to the trash can by the sinks, just barely missing it and watching as it bumped off the rim and rolled to the ground. She ducked low to try and grab it, hitting her head on a hard sink from above.
"Agh!"

The weird truth
It had taken her forever to find the bathrooms. Honestly, she thought, why does this school have to be so big? Already she had gotten lost at least four times trying to find her classroom, and now the bathroom too? Autumn wasn’t even bad with directions, unlike Spring. They stopped for a moment, having to smile at the thought of their sibling running around the school, unable to even find another student to help them. Shaking her head to clear the image from her mind, they pushed open the door, checking one more time to make sure they had the right place.
Autumn took a single step into the bathroom before stopping again. The sight in front of them could best be described as ‘chaotic’. A tall, brown-haired, presumably female person tried to throw a piece of licorice into a trashcan, only to narrowly miss it, having the candy bounce off the edge instead. Another girl, this one with brownish-black hair stood by the sink, from the look of it washing her hands.
As Autumn watched the tall girl moved to pick up the piece of licorice, but bumped her head on the sink. Autumn winced, finally moving forward to grab the candy, handing it to the girl. “That looked like it hurt,” she smiled sympathetically, or at least she tried to. Turning slightly so she could also see the other girl, she gave a small wave.
“I’m Autumn.”

The weird truth
[quote]Another girl had entered, and by the look of it was a little shocked by the sight. She stepped forward and picked up the licorice, handing it to Edme and introducing herself. Edme stood up quickly, brushing off the non-existent dust on their sweater and straightening herself.
"I'm Edme." she stated, her thick Scottish accent clear as day, "And thank you. That was very polite. I apologize if I... caused a sight."
They rubbed the back of her neck nervously, a sheet of pink hot blush covering her flustered face. Of course this would happen. And their head was still throbbing from the hard bump from the sink.
"If you need to uh... relieve yourself... I mean to be in no way of that." Edme tried to step out of the way, but nearly tripped from the slippery floor. They coughed, standing up, and motioning towards a stall.
It was awkward enough that they were most likely going to be searching for hours just to find their next destination, but navigating conversation? That was another struggle in itself. They waited for the other to continue forward, walking to the paper towels and ripping off a bit so as to wash the remnants of water still on their newly clean hands.

The weird truth
Edme, as Autumn had learned her name was, said, while rubbing the back of her neck. Autumn had found herself reaching to mimic the gesture, crossing her arms behind her back instead to stop herself.“I apologize if I… caused a sight,”
Edme continued."If you need to uh... relieve yourself... I mean to be in no way of that."
Autumn felt her face color, watching Edme move to step out of the way, and almost falling from the slippery floor. Autumn cringed as they caught themselves, and made a mental note to take extra care crossing to the stall. The last thing she wanted was to fall. What would happen if Autumn was to fall, she thought wryly.“Oh, don’t worry about it.”
Closing the stall door behind them, they sat down on the lid of the toilet, letting their head rest on their knees, taking a deep breath, wincing as their chest panged. They had shrunk their binder again, and had forgotten to grab a better one, not realizing the mistake until they were in class.
Unfolding themselves, they readjusted the fabric, taking another breath before reamerging, crossing the bathroom once again to the sink, letting their hands rest in the hot water, staring at their reflection in the mirror. What if I cut my hair? Autumn thought, not realizing that they had spoken out loud.

The weird truth
@Autumn Agapov
Edme watches as the other person walked off and into a stall. She heard a small breath and soon saw the other leave, their hair swishing as they went. As soon as they landed on the mirror, they spoke aloud about considering cutting their hair.
"What?" Edme looked over, confusion covering their original expression.
She understood the feeling, of course. Just step up to a mirror and chop it all off. Heck, they even considered it before one of their foster parents had talked with them about getting a haircut and let them get it cut professionally. They could see where this person was coming from, and wouldn't protest to the act. The look of confusion turned to a blank look of neutral understanding as they turned back to the water, their hands beginning to prune as they continued to wash them for the billionth time.
"I suppose that would be fine. Unless you mess it up and end it with split ends." Edme considered genuinely, looking in the mirror, and flattening the loose strands that flew from the side of their head. Rather look presentable and late then a mess and late.
They straightened their sweater as they stepped back to look closer into the mirror.

The weird truth
Interaction: @Edme Achillian
Autumn didn’t realize they had spoken out loud until Edme replied, rightly sounding confused.
“What?”
Autumn blushed in embarrassment as Edme looked at her, looking away again quickly, turning back to the mirror. In all honestly, they weren’t sure where the thought had come from. Sure, they had thought of cutting their hair before and even had before, but quickly realized they preferred it long. After all, it was easier to tie back long hair than trying to make short hair long.
With that thought in their mind, they reached for the hair tie they usually kept on their wrist, only to find nothing there. Groaning, they turned towards Edme to ask if she had a spare, only to remember that the girl had short hair, and therefore wouldn’t need to carry one around.
It took Autumn a moment to realize Edme was talking about cutting hair, the latter looking at her own reflection in the mirror."I suppose that would be fine. Unless you mess it up and end it with split ends."
Autumn smiled. Moving to dry their hands, they glanced at the small watch they wore, a recent addition to their usual outfit. The number displayed made her eyes widen slightly. They were late to class.“That’s true...honestly, I wouldn’t trust myself cutting my own hair. It’s almost guaranteed I’d mess up.”
She swore softly. Turning back to Edme they continued.“Bloody hell,”
Pushing open the bathroom door, Autumn left, their footsteps echoing through the halls as they ran.“It was nice meeting you!”

The weird truth
@Autumn Agapov @Clair Fernandez
Apologies for the super late response!
Autumn seemed flustered by Edme's realization of the words, and Edme realized she may not have been in the right to say that.
Thankfully, they just made a joking comment about how they would most likely just mess it up if they tried. Edme let herself laugh a bit, their hand moving to their mouth almost instinctively.
They both smiled, but it was short lived, as Autumn looked at the clock and nearly jumped from the time. Edme noticed as well, and her eyes seemed to grow at least four inches wide. Classes would be starting any minute!
Autumn waved a goodbye, drying their hands of quickly and rushing out the door.
"Oh, goodbye!" Edme waved as well, though she doubted the other could hear or see them. She sighed, flapping her hands to dry them, and looking over at the other girl in the bathroom, "Pardon me if that was impolite."
She began to step out the door, fully dry and clean now, dirt gone from their hands. The hallway was cold on their bare hands, and they realized she had forgotten her gloves in the bathroom. They slugged back in, slumping over to the sink.
