Welcome to the Rehearsal Room
Entering with @Antoinette Asteria

He led her up to the Fourth Floor of the castle where they would reach their intended destination and his favorite place within the entire school - The Rehearsal Room. Simon pushed open the large heavy oak door to reveal the wonder that the room had to offer. There were large arched windows, polished floorboards, and dark stone walls. There was a high ceiling with an impressive decorative chandelier with silver birds upon it and candles that always remained lit.
The paintings that hung there were uplifting souls that loved the arts and they were nothing but encouraging. Here, located within these walls, was a brilliant piano and he recently had discovered that an old gramophone had been stored there as well. This was his musical retreat.
"Welcome to the Rehearsal Room" he said as he held the door for her. If some was at all musically inclined, even if as a dancer, he was sure she'd find amazement in that room. It seemed to captivate all who entered it.
"I probably spend most of my free time here," he admitted. It was somewhat shared between that and the Library because the boy liked to research and sometimes just read. Other times he might be in the Hufflepuff Common Room, but this is where he really felt at peace - amongst the music. He didn't feel the need to explain the room to her. It said it all for him.

Welcome to the Rehearsal Room
2nd November | The Rehearsal Room, 20:30 | @ Simon Kincaid
Annie was so very glad she’d gotten lost.
Not only was she now getting a tour of Hogwarts, but she was also making a new friend in the process. She’d strolled along with Simon, her eyes bright and sparkling as he pointed of the triptych of Helena Ravenclaw, and then pulled back a tapestry to reveal a narrow staircase. Antoinette let out a gasp.
”That is so cool!” She’d breathed. Never again would she have to run to make it to class with that handy shortcut! She wondered vaguely how many people were aware of this staircase, or if people had spent their entire seven years here without ever knowing. Annie wanted to learn as many secrets as possible!
She followed Simon up to the Fourth Floor, where they soon arrived at his favourite place: The Rehearsal Room. She listened intently and found herself in awe of him; he was so young but knew so much already. She giggled as a few portraits waved at them, and she waved back, even doing a funny face at a couple.
Annie held her breath as Simon pushed out the large, heavy oak doors and let out another happy gasp as he revealed The Rehearsal Room. She immediately headed to the middle of the room to stare up at the beautiful chandelier, covered with lit candles and cut little silver birds. It gave the entire room a warm, cosy feel. Along the walls were various artists and musicians, and Annie walked to stand in front of a few, her mouth hanging open.
”I can see why you like it here,” she admitted, looking over and throwing him a grin. ”I love it!” Her eyes continued to scan the room, until they fell upon the grand piano. ”Wow, look at that!” She said, tugging Simon on the arm and hurrying over. She perched herself upon the stool and played a couple of keys.

Welcome to the Rehearsal Room
To the piano with @Antoinette Asteria
Simon could remember his first time walking through the doors of the Rehearsal Room the year before and he was pretty sure that even if someone wasn't musically inclined, they would still be full of awe and be inspired. There was just something about that room that gave comfort and made one feel so welcomed. Probably a lot had to do with the portraits that set just the right sort of tone.
She then expressed excitement over the piano and grabbed him, tugging him over that way. He went with her and watched as she sat herself right down and brought her hands over the keys, pushing down on a couple. "Well don't stop there," he said to her encouragingly. "Play something." The piano was perfectly in tune and it would cause any melody to flow through the open space of the large room. It was concert-like quality practically.
Simon went ahead and sat down next to her. "Or we could play a duet. Know any famous duets?" If she was hesitant to play alone in front of him, he was ready to play a duet with her if she should want. There was always the classic, Heart and Soul. Everyone knew that one, didn't they? Well, he knew it was one of the first he had ever learned and he could teach it to her if she wished.
