Physical Description: Therese is a petite brunette with fair skin and clear blue eyes.

Mental Description: Therese thinks of herself as normal. She used to get insecure about not having certain things that other pureblood witches are used to, but she's moved on from that. At least she doesn't have to worry about people trying to get close to her for something other than her own personality.

History: Therese grew up surrounded by magic. She was the youngest of three, and the only daughter. However, her birth was also unexpected as the youngest of her two older brothers was just 2 years shy of being able to attend Hogwarts by the time that her parents knew about her. Her family wasn't exactly wealthy, but they had enough to live comfortably and still be able to let the children have their own things.

Unfortunately, due to the great difference in age, Therese never really got close to either of her brothers. This was something that always bothered her. They treat her like she's made of glass but don't even know what her favorite color or candy was. It wasn't for lack of trying on her part - or rather, her mother's part. After all, there was nearly 10 years difference between her and the younger Williamson brother...but she came to terms with the fact that she probably would never get to know either of them until she grew older.

It doesn't stop the resentment from brewing, though. She grew up seeing them practice and desperately wanted to try too...but nothing ever came from her attempts to use either brother's and nor those of her parents - something that didn't surprise any of them besides her.

That was her life, really...until she got the letter. Of course, she knew that she would get one simply because of the bouts of accidental magic that she had heard about whilst growing up - but knowing you'd receive one, and actually receiving the letter were two completely different things.

As the family was used to this by now, the shopping trip was quite uneventful - aside from getting her wand, at least. She had, of course, wanted a pet...but her parents insisted that she wait to purchase one until at least her third year. It wasn't something that she liked, but it was something that she could deal with.

Fast-forward to September 1, she gets sorted into Gryffindor.

First Instance of Magic: She doesn't really remember this herself, of course...but mother did like to talk about it. Therese was barely three years old when it had occurred. Her mother had just been about to feed her when the younger of her brothers decided to pull a prank on the eldest, distracting mother from feeding her. She was sitting there in her high chair, and the milk was on the counter. She was thirsty...and then the cup just floated her way.
