Goblin Armoury - (Any years, must have a positive relationship with Serena)
Since I finally made her forge, going to put this in again ---

As a 5th year Goblin, Serena can finally make armour as part of her skillset. She is also just good at metalsmithing in general, so can make other things out of metal (like a metal door sign or a handle or something). She has been practicing her jewellery making too - beginner stuff with wires + beads etc (that anyone can do, not just goblins) over the years. So she can make a few different things. It won't be super elaborate (making intricate things would be 7th year) but she's up for practicing.

Serena's forge is finally up - where she can make stuff during the school term. If anyone wants to do a thread, I think that would be super fun. I know a few people wanted to IC request stuff to be made or have offered to help her out with making it, so if anyone wants to actually thread that, holla at me. If you want something too, I can do it as a solo.

I imagine most of these will be solos but I am totally happy to do some PVs too, as I think that would be fun.

The only requirement I have is that it has to make IC sense for her to do this. I'll be saying no to proposals that don't make sense - or we'd have to shelf the idea until it does make sense. The reason for this is a few things:

1. She's not super open about being a goblin (in fact, she hasn't told anyone IC). She wouldn't openly shout out about having a metalsmith. People might pick up on it when she's giving a bunch of metal gifts or whatever but they'd have to know her to pick up on that. Or she'd have to tell them (aka friends).

2. She has to kinda like you or have a reason to make something for you. The reason could be anything - she might want to apologise and make something as an apology gift or it could be your birthday etc. But she has to IC have a reason to give you something OR like you enough to make something on request/ randomly.

If you're a friend, you pretty much get anything you want. If you're not, you might need to OOC put some effort into the IC reason for it but it should be doable for the most part. I am happy to work on relationships if they know each other and don't like each other but she might not specifically make stuff for your character if she hates them, for obvious reasons =P

If they don't know each other at all, we can definitely get them to know each other.

However, please note that I am super swamped in real life so it might take a little bit of time to fulfil the request. I'm more than happy for you to put it in so I know to work on it when I can but it could take a while, especially if they don't even know each other.[/reducio]

Plot: Calynn has finally met her match in petulance in your character. They are classmates but because of an issue, she can't stand them and they don't like her very well either. Maybe it's her pride that gets on their nerves or her conflict-seeking attitude. Whatever it is, the dislike is mutual.

Plot: Cal finds your character's notebook/diary/notes abandoned somewhere in the castle and decides to leave (what she thinks is) a mysterious note on the last page. Does your character respond? Do they try to find the writer or crumple it up and throw it away?

Plot: This isn't an idea centered around a specific plot but I would like to establish a friend group for Calynn. Perhaps they met on the train to Hogwarts or in a certain class? It is open to whatever you would like.

Guy best friend

Idea: Haley needs more male friends and especially a best friend from the magical world / at Hogwarts. Haley has always been easy-going and has had a lot of guy friends in the past, which I would like to keep for her. Haley is actually up for any nonsense and doesn't shy away from rules, she would also fight with you (on a friendly basis) She's a girl, but she's not afraid of water, dirt, harsh language and the like. She has always been a good buddy type. She has no brothers, but grew up with a whole bunch of cousins, so I don't think we need to explain any more.

Show me the dark side

Idea: Haley was always the warm, laughing, hearty girl but things happened that brought out a different, new side in her. A dark side. I don't want to let that just get stifled again and give Haley the chance to get to know that side of herself and more than that, have someone who can introduce her to it better. So if you are the exact opposite of Haley, maybe even already attracted to the "dark side", I have Haley as a perfect candidate to convince her of that too.

Idea: Haley only has good relationships at Hogwarts and it's time to find someone who brings a little bit of excitement into her life. A kind of love-hate relationship, someone she obviously doesn't get along with, regularly gets into each other's hair (but secretly has to smile about it sometimes) Let's mess with each other and maybe in the distant future it will turn into a friendship.

The thread will start in the Ravenclaw common room as stated, but will eventually rise to other regions of the castle (thus first-years of any house can certainly join). If you do wish to be a part of the hunt for Hunter's origami animals, then I highly suggest we discuss[OWL] if you would like your character to join the hunt right after Hunter and his other Ravenclaw(s) leave the room and enter another area, or later on in the story; also, we should have a discussion on how your character may become a part of the game (such as you accidentally find one of the origami's, or you notice Hunter and a few other students searching around the place suspiciously). Thirdly, rolling will be involved to see how well your and other characters are capable of finding these hidden pieces of art (which is wisdom-based). Fourthly, the origamis are spread out through the castle and thus it will involve multiple threads. Finally, this adventure includes multiple students and thus I request that if you wish to be a part of it that you be rather active and won't leave too many of the other students hanging (If you ever feel that your character IC wishes to leave the game, they most certainly can; I and no other student will godmod your character nor force them to stay, but it is possible some may attempt to persuade your character IC)

The Wrong House
Zykeal has never really felt at home in the house he was chosen for, this has made life difficult, people have always had this perception when meeting a Gryffindor that they were supposed to be some kind of "knight in shining armor", this is far from the truth for himself. There are some traits that he has that seem only to show the bad side of his house though, his arrogance, cockiness, and exceptional looks. See what I mean? I'm not sure what I'm looking for in a thread partner, someone who can take his snarky comments at times and be able to deal with his quiet brooding at others? A tall order, I know, but Zyk has a lot of enemies and very few friends in this school. All are welcome though.

A Broken Wand
With the new wandmaker ability, I'm looking to amplify my character's storyline by creating his first wand. This would only be necessary if he no longer had use of his own wand, one which he loves dearly. Throughout his own story here in Hogwarts and outside in the Muggle world, he's been honing his craft as a wandmaker in his young years already and I've devoted a lot of threads to this specific topic.

I'm not looking necessarily for an altercation, even though Zykeal is prone to altercations... maybe some sort of magical accident or even a fluke physical accident where some bookshelf falls and breaks it in half. This will essentially crush my character for a while as his attachment to his wand is heavy and it ties him to the magical world as he is (From what he knows) a muggle-born wizard.

If your character is Year 5+ or a teacher/adult in the world, an altercation would be welcome. If your character year 5, I'd prefer some type of accidental incident.
