A eight year old blonde hair boy bounded down the stairs, dressed in kaki pants and a plaid shirt. Charles waited by the door for his mother, smoothing out his shirt as he stood there obediently.
Stepmber 1st came and with it, Charles's older brother; Andrew left for Dumstrang. There was never much fun to do at the manor but Charles was taught never let fun come between one and their goals. The child is kept busy with lessons and tutors but that October day would be differnt.
His father and grandfather both left for the ministry early that morning. His aunt and grandmother left to do some shopping with his two younger cousins. Leaving only his mother and him at the manor, where a few hours before Charles was told by his mother that they will be visiting a friend of hers who had a child around his age.
Charles rarely left the manor so when he did it's always a treat as he bounced lightly on the balls of his heels, waiting for his mother to arrive.
Jessica, dressed in a lomg brown dress coat. Her blond hair tied in a neat bun, turned thr corner and started down the stairs with her blue eyes on her young son.
Charles smiled at his mother when she joined him by the door, the boy didn't speak up or yell obeying the manners he was taught as he asked"mother"? Jessica nodded toward her son letting Charles know he can ask his question as he spoke"how will we get there?" Charles question what type of magical transportation they will take that day but Jessica merely smiled as she spoke"we're going to walk, Charles."
It came to a surpise to the young boy but he didn't complaim or say anything as the two exicted the manor. Charles taking his mother's hand as they set off on their walk to the pureblood family home.
It took the whole morning but they arrived at Barking, England from Durham by walking and one muggle train... Charles looked up at the house, not sure if he should be comparing the size and look of it to the Alluring manor as he approached the door with hus mother.
Charles still held onto his mother's hand as she knocked on the door, the two waited.
