Worst. Idea. Ever.

Lizzy had raced all the way from the Gryffindor Common Room, specifically Wampus Wing, to the abandoned toilets. She didn't want to be seen by a single soul. Her face was a mess, with tear tracks brightly shining in vast contrast to her pale skin. The cause of her tears was her hair. It was completely different to what she had come to Hogwarts with. Lizzy had just wanted to see what her hair would look like a bit shorter, and if she didn't like it, it would grow back quickly. However, the whole thing hadn't gone exactly as planned.Open to Interactions

Lizzy had picked up a pair of scissors lying on one of her dormmates nightstand. She had begun to cut her hair carefully, but what she didn't realize was the scissors were enchanted! Within moments her hair that once flew past her shoulders, was now barely at her chin. Lizzy had gone over to the mirror to see what had happened, and the reflection revealed incredibly short hair.
She had fled from the dorms, desperate to get someplace where no one would burst in on her. Lizzy had to find some way to make her hair grow back before anyone saw, particularly anyone who would tease her about it. Yet, after being in the abandoned toilets for a few minutes, slowly letting her head clear, she realized she didn't know many spells, and certainly not ones that would make her hair grow back. She wasn't willing to take any more risks with her hair. If she didn't know any spells that would help her, she would not just experiment until one worked. What if she ended up dying her hair permanently pink or something?
Looking around, taking in her surroundings for the first time, Lizzy saw just how disgusting the bathroom was. The sinks were rusted, the stalls seemed ready to fall apart at a mere touch, and the windows were cracked, letting in a cold draft. The mirror that Lizzy wandered over to was dusty and cracked as well. The mirrors were dusty and cracked as well, but Lizzy try as she might to avoid peering in them, they thrust her reflection back at her, as if taunting her. She put her head in her hands. Why had she done this?

Worst. Idea. Ever.

Clair walked into the abandoned bathrooms, she had one reason for this; her hair was a mess.
She had been late for class and bad bad no time to brush it, she walked into the dirty place, she started to brush her long black hair, then she noticed a girl with short short hair, the poor student's hair looked like it had been cut off with scissors, by a person who was blind.
The girl did not look to ... Happy about it either.
Clair decided she would see if she could help. Walking up to the girl Clair smiled,
"hello! My name is Clair! What's yours?" She asked smiling at the girl, sometimes a smile could really help things.
"What happened to your hair? Did you cut it yourself?" She was not sure whether to say that she loved it (which would a a somewhat lie) lr to say the truth, that it was a bit messy,
"If you want I can try to fix it with a Repario." She took a breath, putting her own hair brush into her bag, it might not be too nice to hold her brush, so Instead she pulled her hair up into a quick pony, which looked pretty good much to Clair's embarrassment.

Lizzy heard the door open behind her and froze. She had literally come into the abandoned bathroom because she didn't want to have anyone see her, but of course someone would come in right when she needed to be alone. Lizzy supposed she would have to face whoever it was eventually, so she turned with a resigned sigh.Interacting With: @Clair Fernandez
It was a girl, Ravenclaw by the symbol her robes bore, and Lizzy vaguely recalled seeing her around the halls, maybe in a class or two. She introduced herself as Clair with a bright smile. Lizzy decided it would be rude to ignore the girl and leave. "I'm Lizzy," she replied. Lizzy may have responded to Clair, but that did not mean she had the same cheery smile that Clair had. In fact, Lizzy could still feel the fresh tear tracks on her face. Hopefully, Clair wouldn't point them out. She hated to cry in front of people, or let people know that she had been crying.
That's when Clair asked what had happened to her hair. Lizzy would've preferred her to bring up the crying. Anything but the hair. "I'm not even sure how to answer that," Lizzy confessed. "I was planning on cutting it just a bit shorter, it used to be longer than my shoulders, and I have cut my hair before! The thing is, I used a pair of scissors on my dorm mate's nightstand. They happened to be magical, and in seconds my hair looked like.... this," she finished.
Clair was trying to be kind, she knew, when Clair asked if Lizzy wanted her to use Reparo on her hair. She was reluctant to try anything else magical on her hair, it was bad enough. Still, she glanced in the cracked mirror again and saw her hair. "I don't know about using any more magic on my hair..." Lizzy began.

@Lizzy Solace @Clair FernandezWhy was the boy being pulled towards the Abandoned Toilets? It was... gravitational. A powerful lure. Upon his arrival, he looked through the entrance. His head peaking in. What did he see? A girl, the same one he got into a duel with, got detention with, and threw spiders at.
But... something was different. Something off. Something odd. It was her hair! "HAHAHAHA!" The boy laughed, rather rudely, not meaning it of course, but was intentionally trying to sound as rude as possible. "What did you do to your hair!"
Of course Cody wasn't going to wait for an answer. He was rather impatient. Might as well tell him to avoid being around people. He already had a bad reputation, but of course, that didn't matter to Cody. He saw it as a powerful form of attention, despite it's treacherous purposes.
"Soo... I could use incendio and help burn away some longer strands?" He cackled. Wow. He really was mean. Maybe he was extra mean to Lizzy out of fear. Fear of what she could do to Cody. Fear that she was taller and apparently stronger and tougher, despite the fact that she was crying at that moment.
"So. Why rely on a magical scissor?"

Worst. Idea. Ever.

The door to the Abandoned Toilets swung open yet again. Why? Why, when Lizzy wished to be left alone, does everyone seem to be magnetically attracted to her? Lizzy turned her head to the open door to see who had come in this time. To her surprise, she saw Cody Stevenson, all four-ish feet of him. He had landed her in her first detention. She would say whatever she liked about him.@Clair Fernandez and @Cody Stevenson
Cody burst out laughing, and promptly asked what she had done to her hair. Lizzy's mouth went into a thin line, scowling at him. Technically, she hadn't done a single thing to her hair, it was the scissors fault that it was in its current state. Lizzy was feeling bad enough without Cody making her feel worse about it. Did it really look that bad, or was he just being his usual haywire self?
Her eyes narrowed further aas he continued on. Despite her short, short hair, Lizzy still found it in herself to snap back. "I didn't do anything!" she exclaimed. "And no. You just keep your wand in your pocket!" She could not believe that though Cody must clearly see that she had been crying, he would still pick on her like this.
"Do you really think I just picked up magical scissors and said 'This seems like a good idea?' No. I thought they were regular scissors." It wasn't like Lizzy even had known magical scissors were a thing until the scissors in her hand started to cut by themselves. On her part though, it was poor judgement. She was in a magical world and didn't think there was such a thing as magical scissors?

Clair looked at Cody, "Really Cody? That seems kind of rude I mean poor Lizzy did not even mean to cut her hair that short, sure she still did it, but scissors that are bewitched should not have been sitting out for everyone to see and touch" she thought for a moment "Do you have them with you still? We might be able to find someone who knows a counter curse for it." She sighed "That is if we knew what curse was placed on it in the start." She thought for a moment, "What about your roommate? Could you ask her? She might know, at least she should know where they came from to give us another clue"
Clair looked at Cody "And maybe you could help? Maybe find someone who knows tons of spells or counter curses." She turned back to Lizzy, "One last question "If you don't want magic to be used, then are you willing to just... Let your hair grow back on it's own? We might be able to get you to a barber who could cut it all even, so it grows out even. If that is what you wanted"
She smiled, "But we don't have to help if you don't want"

"Well... EXCUSE ME! I'm sorry I didn't make fun of you too Clair. You truly do terrify others, with your smar- wait- guys- I'll assist y'all in discovering the cure or well- a way to save what remains of Lizzy's dreaded hair. Even if it would look better singed. Ok, well- I can do the research to discover what spell was cast on it, but there is a price. Don't go after me. Don't tell anyone I was helping you out. Word does not need to go around the school about my kindness. I have a reputation to uphold."
Cody said, as determined and snarky as he could be. But, when it came to his reputation, he knew it was faltering, and he was trying so hard to make it appear that he really was such a bad boy. Maybe Felix was right. Cody was nothing more than a toddler. But- this had to be utter crap.
"Ok, uh- Lizzy. I will- I will-" The boy struggled to speak. He didn't- then he popped out the line he dreaded to say. "Lizzy- I'm scared... of you."
Whether there were no reactions or not, Cody ignored. He would run down to the library for maybe thirty, fourty minutes and look for spells, charms, curses, jinxes, or hexes, even unnamed ones! Upon his return, Cody glared at Clair, afraid to look Lizzy in the eye.

Worst. Idea. Ever.

"Thank you Clair," Lizzy said gratefully. The tears that had stained her face had long since disappeared when Cody had entered. Out of every single person in the whole school, he was the person she least wanted to see her cry. It was partly that in their duel he had made her look stupid, casting dirty. Though she wasn't entirely sure of the duelling rules, she knew that was probably not allowed.@Clair Fernandez and @Cody Stevenson
"I don't still have the scissors, and I don't even know whose they were. I share a dormitory with like five other girls." Lizzy didn't even remember which nightstand she had picked them up off of. The whole situation was a mess, and now that she was thinking clearly, it didn't seem to be getting better.
She turned her attention back to Clair. "No, I really appreciate your help, but I'm not sure if magic is the best solution as it is what got me in this situation in the first place." When Cody spoke up, Lizzy wasn't sure she had heard him right. He said he would help them? Even if he had called her hair dreaded, he had offered his help? This was the same Cody she had argued with, right?
"Oh um, thanks Cody? That's nice of you. I don't spread rumors either, so your secret is safe with me." Lizzy never thought there would be a day when she thanked him for anything. "Lizzy- I'm scared... of you," he stuttered. There was a silence for a moment, and then he turned and ran out of the bathroom. She stared after him, astounded. "Did he just....?" she asked Clair, barely able to get the words out.
How could he be scared of her? That did not make a bit of sense. They had met on the train to Hogwarts, but they had barely talked. Then, the next time they had met, he had challenged her to a duel, seemingly out of nowhere. What could have possibly happened between the two times for him to fear her? This was indeed a mystery. When he came back in a half-hour later, he couldn't even look her in the eye.
