It was a cool fall morning, the breeze blowing slightly against Finley's face as she walked to another new class, Herbology. She assumed it had something to do with plants from the name but she couldn't be sure. Everything was so new to her. All of the classes, spells, teachers, lifestyle. Just thinking about it gave her the jitters. Then there was part the part of her that desperately still wanted to go back home. She stopped that thought process as she made her way through the courtyard to the greenhouses looming in the distance. She had to give this an honest try. Who knows, maybe she'd like this school more than her last.
She reached the greenhouses and stopped outside. Finley peeked her head inside and looked around not seeing anyone. Deciding it was probably better to wait outside she leaned against one of the walls to wait for other students or the teacher to show up. As she waited, she took a few moments to really admire the beauty of the castle she now lived in. It was truly beautiful. Maybe living here wouldn't be so bad if everything around her was so pretty. Finley looked around, happy to see some other students starting to join her.

Abby ran down the corridor desperately wishing she had a broom on her, let alone wishing she knew how to fly it. It had only been day one and she was already about to be late to yet another class. Just her luck I guess. I suppose it didn't help her case that she stood outside for 20 minutes analyzing the wall scones, but I mean what is NOT to love about intricate design like come on!@Finley Grey
"Don't be late, don't be late" she mumbled to herself zooming around the corner into the courtyard. She stopped for a minute needing to rest her weary traveler legs. She hadn't ran this much since she had chased that butterfly through the entire west field of her family's potato farm. Breathing in and out she looked up and saw the other students already lined up outside the greenhouse.
"I MADE IT!" she shouted ecstatically before frantically looking over at the trees next to the "classroom". There was a red squirrel climbing up the side, nothing exciting but any type of skittering creature made Abby go, Ga Ga. She ran over hiding in the bushes to look at it from a quiet distance. Lets just say she looked a little strange.

Finley was leaning against the wall of the greenhouse simply enjoying the scenery when she spotted a squirrel darting around. She watched it for a few minutes, a small smile on her face. She could remember all of the times her parents took her to the park and instead of playing with other children she would just observe the wildlife. Unless, of course, if Charlie was there. A sad smile crossed her face as she remembered her best friend and she wiped a single tear from her face. As she made a mental note to write a letter to her best friend later, she noticed a girl in the bushes.
Pushing off the wall, she took a few careful steps towards the girl, watching her intently. It was odd, wasn't it? Seeing someone hiding in the bushes, even if she wasn't raised in the wizarding world, she assumed this wasn't normal behavior for them either. Finley simply stood there, watching the girl. She looked back over at the squirrel and realized that the girl was probably looking at the animal. Sure animals were cool, but were they really cool enough to be hiding in the scratchy bushes for? Taking a few more steps, she got closer to the bushes. "Whatcha doing?" She asked the girl.
