Mom, I love you and all, and I love the hair I was born with, blonde, but can you and dad discuss and let me know if I can dye my hair to a utmost color, at least, I feel it's very intriguing. I would like to dye my hair black. Can I please? I don't think I came across a black haired part goblin here at Hogwarts... if I do, I'll owl you back immediately! But can you please discuss with dad? Or have him send me an owl?

PS: Tell Freddy that I'm very lucky to be at Hogwarts, and if he'd like to, he can send me a separate owl.

Hey son. Your mother just talked to me and wanted me to ask why exactly you want to dye your hair? I think you look just fine the way you do. If you are dealing with bullies at Hogwarts, making you want to change your idenity so you can fit in, just let us know! But a little tip, that won't stop them. Please think about this carefully. We will continue deliberating and you will get an owl from us in the next few days when we decide on whether you dye your hair. Or not. I just don't want you breaking rules, especially if you already dyed your hair.

Listen here. You can dye your hair, just don't go crazy and ruin it. Don't be bleaching it. DO NOT even consider cutting it. If you do, I will personally ensure that I contact your Headmaster and get you detention for disobeying your parents. Although, from what I was told, you ALREADY got detention. I AM SO DISAPPOINTED IN YOU. Why can't you show off m- the Stevenson family's genes, the ones that don't go with stupid.

I hate entrusting myself and the family's herilooms to you, but if you can take care of your- my mother's necklace, then I will make sure your dad gives the approval to you dyeing your hair black. I really hope you enjoy it Cody! Let me know when you get this owl! Also, Freddy said in response to what you told me to tell him, that you are, and this is his words, a trout sniffer. I'm sorry for him, but he did ask that you owl him when you aren't such a jerk. Maybe around Christmas honey?

I wish I could send home the necklace, but I don't have it on me, and please don't kill me, I kinda bet it to try to win a duel that incited that detention. Whatever you say, I'm ignoring.
