There was a nip in the air, the kind of cold that sent shivers down your spine and rendered one's bones to feel like they were about to crack at any given time. Though Enrico enjoyed the change of weather up until the Christmas festivities. Oh, how he dearly missed the warm rays of the sun in Spring. How he dreamed of running across fields of flowers and seas of grass, tall trees reaching up like a hand in the air, almost touching the skies and its clouds. Though he could not complain about his stay at Hogwarts, Enrico had to admit that he missed home and the lush of living in the country. The earth was one with him, he took care of it and in return, it rewarded him with pretty little flowers.

Wanting to build that connection again, Enrico sought out to spend some time in one of his favourite spots right on Hogwarts grounds. The Greenhouses provided both a haven and a heaven for those who enjoyed the prosperity of nature, and coming from muggle descent, the boy was left mesmerized by the countless of magical greenery he had encountered - and to say that he had six years more worth of learning about them was simply unbelievable. He might have not been one for academics, but Herbology had his absolute interest the second he discovered what it was. The best part was that he wasn't absolutely terrible in it, so he could actually flaunt and boast about how good he was at it without having to make anything up. Lying was tough work. Especially if it was for the good of the world.

A cheeky little grin made an appearance on his face when he thought of that - his dimples taking shape, ready to be poked. Usually, it was his older siblings who had such honour, or his mother whenever she felt like nagging him. But now it was just the breezy wind that hushed against his skin in a cold manoeuvre, turning his nose, cheeks and ears into a pinky shade of red. His Hufflepuff scarf was tight around his neck clinging to warmth rather than providing him with it.

The reasons why he was outside during such circumstances were mostly a secret, but obvious to anyone who knew what he was - especially when one realized that he aimed to enter the greenhouses without permission. Sure the Professor of Herbology could be skulking around the area, but Enrico was certain that the man would probably appreciate his enthusiasm. That was until he'd learn about the student's ulterior motive to... collect- no! Borrow, more likely, a few plants. A couple or three perhaps. It was just for his collection - there had been plants and flowers to collect that could easily be fetched from the grounds, but the things inside the greenhouses were far more rare, unique and exotic to the eyes of a muggle-born wizard.

Enrico tried his best to sneak around the blocks trying to find an open window to sneak in from, but there were barely any, and the ones that were somewhat open had plants in the way, blocking entry. He peeked, making certain that there was no one inside, and luckily he couldn't see anyone. Behind him stood no one either, this was the perfect time to try and climb over. Using his short legs to his disadvantage, Enrico found it difficult to even get somewhere close to the other side, and as soon as he turned his back, he could swear that he felt a pair of eyes eyeing every movement he was making - sending him silent.

He was going to be in lots of trouble, wasn't he?
