Lizzy strolled into the Great Hall, trying to look confident, but internally flipping out. She had never duelled before, and contrary to how she had acted in front of Cody, she was worried she would lose. Lizzy knew that Cody was incredibly chaotic, which meant he was probably also a chaotic spellcaster. If one of his spells went wrong and she was hurt, there would be no one to aid the two, as they were duelling in a forbidden area.

Lizzy rolled her eyes as she listened to Cody's weak attempts to insult her. Liz was a nickname that got on her nerves though. She had only ever allowed one person to call her that, and he was one of her close friends. Cody on the other hand was someone who she very much despised already. She hadn't done a thing to him yesterday. She had simply asked if he was alright (the evil smile may have been a bit much) and he had called for a duel. If it was a duel he wanted, it was a duel he would get.

"Morning Cody," she replied simply. That's when she remembered how afraid of her he had seemed yesterday. Perhaps she could use his fear to her advantage. "Ready to lose?" It was accompanied by a sinister smile like the day before. Fear, she knew, could do much harm to a person's nerves, and Lizzy hoped that Cody's fear for her would cause him to slip up in their duel.

Lizzy bowed back as he announced it was time to duel. She would be nothing if not polite, and of course, victorious. Cody's voice rang out before she had straightened up completely. "STELUS!" Lizzy sprang back up into a standing position, her eyes wide at his deceptive way of casting the first spell. So, that's how he wanted to play was it? She dove out of the way of his spell. Whether it was too late or not, only time, a very short amount of time, could tell.

The Part Goblin sneered. He meant it. The girl was going to sneeze. "So sad I didn't bring any tissues Liz."

Cody Stevenson. A man of his word. He was disgracefully called out. One of his best friend came over to try and stop them. How dare he? HE MEANT WHAT HE SAID. HE WAS GOING TO WIN. Even if it meant detention. He was going to get his way. Cody was someone who makes a lot of threats, and usually doesn't stick to them, but now, he desperately wants to prove that he is as bad as he tries to portray himself as.

He looked at Henry, "I don't care what anyone says. I make my own decisions. I am my own boss. I'm sorry Henry, but I'm continuing."

He would try to think of a spell, something incredibly good, to hit the girl with. He wanted to win. HE WOULD BE THE CHAMPION. No matter who knows.

Cody was going to cast the Knockback Jinx on that horrid Gryffindor. How dare she. She dare threaten Cody? Cody was the sweetest soul alive, at least, according to his mother. Now, Cody never really thought of himself as all powerful, but he thought of himself as being better than what people thought of him.

"fli-PEN-doh!" The boy called out, making a quick downwards curve, then aiming towards the ceiling of the Great Hall. If it hit, Cody would shoot a fist up in the air, if it didn't, Cody would stomp his feet angrily.

Lizzy dodged a second too slow, Cody's spell hit her full on. Lizzy didn't remember what exactly that spell did unfortunately, but she was about to find out. She braced herself for whatever the intent of Cody's spell was. Nothing happened. Lizzy smiled, Cody's spell had gone wrong. All of his arrogance was for nothing, he didn't cast the spell right! Suddenly, it hit her, an extremely powerful urge to sneeze. "Achoo!"

Lizzy glared at Cody through sneezes. "A sneezing spell--achoo! Really Cody?" Lizzy sneezed again, several times. Cody was really starting to get on Lizzy's nerves, well more than usual anyways. That's when Henry came over and told Cody and Lizzy to stop, that they could get hurt. She knew that they could get hurt, it was one of her biggest hesitancies when she agreed to this duel in the first place. Lizzy wasn't about to back out now though, not when they were this far in. "Sorry Henry, I'm not going to stop." As much as Lizzy didn't want to be seen as a cowardly Gryffindor, she wasn't going to be bossed around by anyone, even if that anyone was older than she was.

She turned back to Cody with her wand raised. "Muc--" "FLIPENDO," Cody interrupted suddenly. Lizzy couldn't believe he had done it again. Cody Stevenson was fighting very dirty, even for a wizard duel when they couldn't touch each other. Lizzy ducked aside, hopefully in time this time. She would have to get on the offensive side of this duel soon, or she was sure to lose. Cody was an incredibly treacherous person for being a Hufflepuff.

Willow just wanted to get some food. That was all she wanted. Some time in the Great Hall with her friends chatting about their days, how her errand went, about current events. She had nearly forgotten about the altercation that occurred at her errand the day before, because surely if any the students would change the date and location so they wouldn't get caught. But no. The two first years were catching Willow as she was borderline hangry. But really, that was their own fault.

She had just entered the Great Hall and was making a beeline for the place where she normally sat until she was intercepted by Henry Knight. A Slytherin in her year. When the two came into her sight line and were duelling, she couldn't help but groan and mutter under her breath. "Idiots." Her wand was drawn in a second, anger, hunger, and frustration that they didn't listen to her warning yesterday surged through her as she casted.

With a couple flicks of her wand a couple things happened. "Immobulus." Using her spell spread ability both Cody and Lizzy would find themselves unmoving. Unable to cast anymore spells, but still the girl sneezed. Willow rolled her eyes at the childish choice of spell Cody used and helped her out. "Finite Incantatem." She stood in front of the two with her hands curled up in fists at her sides. "The two of you want to duel so bad? Join a team. I don't know what got through your thick skulls that this was the place to do it, but you obviously wanted to get caught."

Her face was practically red, she was a firecracker when she was angry and she was trying not to blow up on the two first years. Quickly she cycled the duelling practice schedule in her brain before doling out punishment. "After dinner you're to promptly arrive to the duelling practice room for detention. Don't get any ideas that you think I'll be teaching you any tips and tricks." She turned to Henry with a small smile on her face. "Thanks for helping me out here. I hope they didn't cause you too much trouble." With a final glare at the other two, she did another general counter-spell to let them move and stormed off to her table to eat some food.
