A healer could be an occupational choice in the future given that her spell gone perfectly. The purpling bruises on her teammate dispersed within a few seconds. However, to her dismay, the other fifth year was not going to let that happen. Within a moment, she had thrown a spell right Katherine's way once more. A sigh, which Aurelia spent no effort concealing left her lips. "Care to pick someone your own size?" she'd yell at the fifth year. They weren't taking it easy on the poor second year.

When can Katherine rest, I mean sure Katherine loved to be in the spotlight. But not this way, luckily she was healed by her teammate. It seems her teammate wasn't so bad after all. Katherine watched as the idiot from the other team cast a spell that hit their teammate. Katherine snickered, How stupid could one be, if they had any brain left in them they should have seen that every attempt they had cast in Katherine's way had only ended up in great failure.

They had been a pretty quiet group so far, but now Aurelia was calling out a challenge to Ravenclaw's tactics. Their intention to pick off Katherine first was obvious, though not unprecedented. If they could take her out, they'd have a two on one and Aurelia would be easier to deal with. But not on Aurelia's watch. Again, she incanted a powerful Episkey, and while the spell almost seemed to snag on her wand coming out, it still provided her partner with another wave of relief. Katherine practically looked good as new.
Perhaps that gave her the energy to send a solid Flipendo at Callie. It found purchase, adding another bruise to the self-inflicted one of a few minutes ago. Callie hadn't had anything go her way and was already starting to not look so great. It got worse. The third year would gather her magic for a cast of the stronger variant of the fire spell, only for it to backfire, her second one so soon into the match. The flames would catch, horrible and bright. Bridget was an impartial moderator, but she couldn't help but feel bad for her, to hope she could turn this around before she went out.
There was hope for her yet in the form of her partner, prepared to pull her back from the edge. Maybe it was the sheer absurdity of her partner's string of failures, maybe irritation as Katherine snickered--something Bridget hardly appreciated, though she supposed her own Captain would likely be mocking Callie in this situation--as Delilah would not manage the feat she'd aimed for. Much like her teammate's the spell would invert. It was only a stinging sensation rather than a face-full of flames, and yet things were looking more dire for their position by the second. Likely more than anything, the failed spell had sucked away morale.

Well at least this meant that she finally felt warm in the draughty old halls of Hogwarts. The girl was kind of harbouring a cold a friend had so kindly gifted to her last week.
Jokes aside, THIS SUCKED and only further served to confirm Callie’s suspicions that the curse was worse than she thought. Those damn spiders had ruined everything and were well on the way to ruining her confidence too.
Yet she remained as quiet as someone on fire could be since she was barely containing her growing panic.

Katherine was looking much better following the healing spell. The purpling bruises on her skin faded shortly. Currently, Aurelia was serving as more of a supporting player than offence or defence. Then again, it was not too bad, she was aiding her teammate as she should. However, shortly, she would hear the all detrimental powerful version of the fire conjuring charm initiated, the Ravenclaw's wand pointed towards her teammate. "Watch o-" Her words were cut off when the girl's spell backfired instead. "Fire? What has she ever done to you?" Although Aurelia was usually calm and collected, with her emotions always wrapped around her finger, she knew well that fire was not something to play with. But little did she know that this was an unfortunate norm in duelling.

Katherine was amused, the opposing team has made fool of themselves yet again. Fire spell came in she heard her teammate. Her teammate was way too sensitive, Katherine just ignored her due to the fact that she's actually helping Kath. All this was amusing, watching her opposing team look like idiots. Katherine had her devilish smirk on, she gave out a mocking scoff when she watched the spell backfire on the opposing team, How hilarious.

The Ravenclaws remained quiet after their catastrophic last casts. What was there to say? They needed all their focus to regain a fighting chance, to not repeat their failure, and Callie might have been too drained to waste the breath if she'd wanted to. Meanwhile, Aurelia continued to take issue with the targeting of her younger teammate; presumably, Katherine had never done anything to Callie and this was just your typical impersonal execution of the sport. As for Katherine, she continued with the mocking amusement, clearly not intending to establish herself as the paragon of sportsmanship, though that tended to be incredibly hit or miss amongst teenage duellists anyway.
Quiet and pulling back, Ravenclaw dedicated all efforts to not letting things get any worse. Callie doused the flames eating at her robes before they could cause her any more pain, a small victory as her first cast to not go haywire. Delilah released herself from the standard of spell-splitting and instead focused solely on restoring Callie's draining energy, the attempt working this time and easing her bruises and burns.
Aurelia, deeming Katherine in satisfactory health, returned to her original objective of swelling Delilah's eyes shut. Much like before, Delilah was quick on her feet, avoiding that complication. Another Flipendo would be sent at Callie from Katherine, but this time she avoided it with little difficulty, maybe able to move a little faster after the Reparifors. The Ravenclaws had avoided losing further ground, but would it be enough to reverse the tides?
