Grace was not prepared for the attack from Ashton. She did not plan to start a macaroon war, just mess with him a bit. Payback for the temperature check earlier in the day. A hand was on Grace’s waist pinning her down as macaroon was smeared on her cheeks and nose. After the attack, Ashton gave her nowhere to escape with both hands on the blanket beside her. Grace tried to reach the basket with snacks in it, but to no success.
Grace looked around the courtyard, people were staring at the two. Glances being taken from almost every group in the area. Grace decided to ignore this and go on with the conversation.
How are the schools different? Isn’t it just school? I’m not sure why we call muggles, muggles. It was normal to me growing up.
Grace giggled and tried to wiggle out of the capture. But again, there was no success. Grace saw Ashton look into the basket of treats and mentally prepared for another macaroon being smeared on her face. But it didn’t happen just then and Grace was relieved. Instead, Grace was asked a question.
