Locked Her Very First Dance Pv Simon Kincaid Oct-25th

Emily had enjoyed herself greatly, she was having fun. Which she adored. She felt like her dancing was improved drastically already. And she was happy. Her dancing was the worse and she was so glad Simon had reached her. She stepped away, stopping the dance, and Smiled ad Simon. "Thankyou, Thankyou for teaching me!" she said and smiled.

They had already been dancing for so long, that she had never noticed that it was already pretty dark outside, the candles were lit and the room had never looked so good before. "It's already getting late, may I have this last dance before we head out, we don't want to get in trouble with anyone"She said and smiled. "Or is there anything else you still want to do, it's already pretty late so I don't think we get to do something any time soon, but maybe you have something in mind?" She said, and headed over to choose a song to dance on. To be honest she had no idea which song she wanted to play, a slow? Or a more energic song? Or something jazzier? She turned around and looked at Simon. "To be honest i have no idea what we could dance haha, you can choose a song, i am the worse at choosing. " She said and laughed.

Another dance with @Emily R. Brewer

Slow dances were the easy dances. At least, once you got past the nervousness and you allowed yourself to be close with another, they were the easy ones. They were the ones you just swayed close to the other. It was the faster dances where you might miss a step, you might trip up, you might nearly fall down. It was the faster dances where you had to try and get in tune with the other person and really get to know them.

Still, he didn't want anything TOO extreme. He wasn't going to put on some Big Band Jazz sort of music and expect her to learn swing dancing at the same time as her introduction to the skill...yet...if she was wanting that later on, well that was a different story! He'd love to have a frequent dancing partner there at Hogwarts. Someone to meet with just to dance now and then.

"Alright then, my indecisive Emmy, I shall choose,"
and he picked up one he was eager to hear because music was just not something readily available to most there at Hogwarts. This was probably a rarity because it was a muggle group from the Motown era. He set the record on the phonograph and cranked the handle. It was "I Can't Help Myself" by the Four Tops and Simon smiled as it began to play. He turned to Emily and began to snap his fingers with the rhythm of the tambourine as it began and he walked to Emily, and as the two began to dance, he sang along to the lyrics. The boy couldn't help himself. He loved his music.

Be kind to one another. (*iNPC is Miles Thatcher)

Time has gone by, many dances had been performed and Emily had never enjoyed herself so much in ages. She was happy to be here with Simon, he had learned so much and was glad she got to enjoy herself at the dance which wouldn't be so far away anymore. She stepped back and turned around to look through the window. " I would love to continue dancing, but if we don't head to our common rooms any time soon, we will be so so busted haha. But i loved to dance with you, you learned me so much, thank you! " She said and turned around, she waved before heading out of the room.

She felt like walking away without saying a proper goodbye wouldn't close the situation, and that is exactly what she wanted to. She loved being around Simon, he was a great friend. Someone she could talk to, someone she felt safe with. She hadn't felt this way in a while. Ever since joining Hogwarts really. Her parents always used to be her safe place, and now that they are hours away, she just missed talking to people and feeling that safety. But she was lucky that she could find it with Simon.
