Henry listened to Adlai speak, the teen grew up surrounded by owls and different birds in the wizarding world that he thought it was normal and a aspect that majority would be used to however he tended to forget that those who didn't grow up in the wizarding world weren't surrounded by owls as much as he was and won't find the experience normal....
Henry loved all animals and creatures through, always looking for ways to learn more about them and care for them. The lad throught that he shared a special bond or connection to them, that they were misunderstood and he was to or occasionally he was because of his fury secret... Henry nodded as he replied " it couldn't talk with English and was trying to communicate in other words," Henry softly smiled toward the the conversation continued.
Henry nodded toward the hufflepuff's remark on the term 'family owl' and at first was confused. He thought that it was a normal aspect of one's childhood, feeding the owl and watching it send or deliver mail. The lad had to remember that it wasn't normal for some at Hogwarts as he spoke " a family owl is a owl that sends and delivers letters for the family," he didn't find explaining since majority of his friends were muggleborns and he loved each them but did have to explain a few things to them.
" You not intruding but maybe we can work on the assignments together?" Henry spoke with a smile as he brushed a few strands fr his eyes and continued " I am getting a O in transfiguration and could help you," the lad smiled toward the girl as Loki sat between the two watching over their conversation with amber eyes.

@Henry Knight"An O? That's amazing, so far I've never met anyone with marks quite as remarkable as that." She said, almost tripping over her own words out of disbelief. She didn't know anyone could have an O in transfiguration. If anything she thought that was only possible for teachers pets, which she tried every now and then to be since she had read an article on how some professors are more lenient on students who they can form some sort of friendlier bond with.
"As much as I'd love to take you up on that offer I wouldn't want to take any of your time away from other subjects or events you'd rather be spending your time participating in, it was very kind of you though so thank you. If I ever desperately need help, I'll make sure to remember that you'll be in my corner."
Adlai loved to help people but she never quite found comfort in people helping her. In retrospect she preferred for people to depend on her rather than for her to depend on other people which explained by she took on tasks and rejected peoples help with them. The only way someone would probably be able to get her to accept their help was if they were was politely stubborn as she is.

The teen offered the girl a soft smile, he usually took his grades for granted. The lad is ise to having straight O's, not allowing himself even a inich to drop on point below so the girl's reaction was different and not necessarily in his mind.
Listening to the girl, Henry still wanted to help her as he spoke"you won't be taking up my time, I promise. I'll love to help you," the teen smiled at the girl as he looked at the sky. It was getting darker, dinner wpild be approaching soon and Henry should be heading to the library for a few books.
Pulling his bag over his shoilder and getting to his feet, Henry looked over at the girl as he spoke"I should go, it's gettinf darker but if you want to join me or find me later then I'll be in the library," taking a moment pause as his orange feline scampered up his leg and to his onwer's right shoulder where he sat. Henry smiled at Loki then looked over at the girl as he spoke"I enjoy talking with you and hope to do it again."
Turning on his heel, the lad started off back toward the castle and toward the library filled with books with his orange feline. Loki who sat on his shoulder and examined what lays ahead of the pair with amber eyes.

@Henry KnightListening to the boys statement Adlai turned her face to the sky as well. "It is getting darker isn't it. I don't blame you for going in. I'll probably do the same myself in a bit." She said. If he hadn't had pointed it out she probably wouldn't have noticed the time.
"Thank you again for the tutoring offer." She mentioned one last time before he began to make his short journey back into the school. He had said she could come and find him later on if she wished to do so. When she'd seek him out? She wasn't sure. He wasn't someone she crossed paths normally so she took the invitation as an opening for a possible friendship.
After watching his walk away for a few moments she diverted her eyes back up the sky as she sat down for a few moments just to watch it. There were a few clouds that would faintly be seen amongst the horizon line that blended and curled into the skies changing hue. I wasn't until the entirety of the normally ever expanding blue mass turned stark orange did she return to her feet and begin to make her own way back inside.Adlai has left the thread
