The New Study Group Closed

Willowest turned to the Ravenclaw. As the girl blundered about, Wests corners of her mouth quirked into a small smile. Eventually, the other girl got it right, and West giggled.

"Hah yeah, it's Willowest as in one word. Although I used to be called just 'West' back in Muggle school if that's easier to say."

The blonde girl turned back to watch what Crystal was saying to the other girl West had spotted earlier. Willowest leaned over to Bluebell, nodding eagerly.

"I'm sure she can't be in Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff! Do you think she's a Slytherin?"

Her hand-pulled and pinched at the skin around her wrist. She had only heard rumors and stories about Slytherins. She hadn't truly met one yet and had not proven the rumors to be false or correct. West was wearing the average uniform for a Hufflepuff. On the wrist of the shirt, a single thread hung loose, most likely picked apart by the girls incessant nipping at the fabric. She restlessly pondered what the other girl with darker hair would say in reply to Crystal. Her gaze flitted to each of the students standing around and about her. People she had just met but had a feeling she could become good friends with if time allowed. An easy smile lifted her features pleasantly. Maybe this school year wouldn't be as lonely as she had originally thought.

Crystal thought it was the correct time for everyone to get to know more great and interesting information about each other . Crystal did not know who should start first so she thought she would start first to get the introductions about themselves started so she began " Well Well Well everyone , Shall we start saying a introduction about ourselves to each other so we can all get to know each other a bit more I personally think it is a great idea as then we can also find out more information about what kind of subjects each other likes and what subjects we are not so good at so we know which subjects we need to study a bit more than the other subjects on so we can all help each other achieve the best we can achieve. " Crystal paused for a little and then she began her introduction " Right I am Crys ,Well my full name is Crystal Amy Snow but many people call me Crys for short . I am in the first year at this school which I am enjoying going to so far , So I shall look forward to the next 7 years being at this school. I am in the house team Hufflepuff, Many many people say that I am in the hufflepuff house team as I am quite a hard worker. I love the subjects Muggle Studies and Music but I would love the subject music as I love singing and playing the guitar. However I'm not so good at Herbology or charms so I would love to study Herbology and charms a bit more than I study the other subjects . Well that is my introduction over and done with "Crystal giggles for a moment then paused " Who would like to tell us their introduction about themselves next? " Crystal asked rest of the study group.

Bluebell’s hand shot in the air, but she quickly pulled it down again, when she realized that she could probably just say “me” She mumbled a quick and awkward: “Yeah, well, I’d like to be next.” She lifted her eyes of her shoes and looked into Crystal and West’s eyes. They are clearly suppressing chuckles, but at least they don’t make any outright mean comments. Nobody objects either, so Blue supposed they were okay with her turn. She out on a fake smile to mask her embarrassment and said: “Well, my name is Bluebell, but my friends call me Blue” ‘What friends?’, her brain automatically commented ‘Only Adrian calls you that, seeing he’s your only friend’ Unfortunately, Adrian wasn’t here, seeing he was a muggle. Bluebell brushed away her thoughts and continued: “So, yeah, I’m a Ravenclaw, but you already know that. I like all Subjects, I guess, but I like Potions and Transfiguration best, it doesn’t mean I’m good at it though. Like, maybe I am, maybe I’m not, but my statement has the simple reason, that I haven’t had those subjects for so long, so yeah… Also, Herbology sounds okay, Muggle studies too, I guess. And Astronomy, of course! Charms though, I don’t know. I suppose I like the result, but I don’t enjoy Charms so much, because, oh, I don’t know, I suppose it’s just learning incantations and swishing wands. And before you say something, I know that isn’t all there is to Charms, but yanno…” Blue trailed off, not sure how to explain her distaste for Charms. “Well, that isn’t really my thing”, she concluded. “Oh, OH! And Crys, I think we should spell Crys C-H-R-I-S. So, Chris. I just think it looks better on paper. No offense though, if you think it’s better as Crys, but personally, I’d prefer… yeah, you get it. Well, that’s my introduction. I don’t think I should describe my character, right? I mean, a). I suck at describing my OWN character and b) I feel like that’s something to learn by spending time with one. That is, if you want to of course! I’m not forcing you to, of course there’s no way I could force you, but… yeah, I’m just going to stop.”
