Bluebell Daffodil was raised by a pair of loving parents, who were both pure-bloods. They weren't exactly what you would call blood supremacists, but they enjoyed the privileges that came with that status, such as being invited to balls hosted by rich, noble families. She was also home schooled by her uncle, who is a renown tutor for wizarding children to teach them basics, such as how to read and write. However, despite the Daffodil's status and reputation for bringing forth famous wizards, as her uncle, Bluebell was still often mocked by the other children attending these balls. In first line because of her name. Bluebell Daffodil. Or 'Flower McFlower'. It hurted a lot and it eventually led to Bluebell hating her parents for that name. In those times, she'd write down names that she liked and put it in an empty tissue box. She never looked at the names, but she liked the comfort of having those names close by. For her favorite names she invented their bearer, imagining them as friends. Her Best friend, Elizabeth Harper, was a girly girl that would always go on about the balls 'helping' Blue to prepare for them. Kelsie Brown was the complete opposite and would run around in the woods with Bluebell. Jake Copper helped her when she felt neglected after her siblings' birth, Hawthorne and Jasmine.
Her first
real friend though, was a boy she met at the playground nearby, Adrien. He came from London, but had moved to Paisley, much to his dismay. However, they became close friends, despite Adrien being a muggle. It was hard to talk to him at first, since she didn't know anything about his world, but soon they discovered that Adrien's brother was, in fact, a wizard. It made things a lot easier and they could actually enjoy their friendship now. That is, until the
summer after Bluebell turned eleven.
