Mentioning:
Loki bat at Hercule's nose once followed by a warning meow, the orange feline acted like a alpha cat at Hogwarts as he walked over to Lizzy and gave the girl a single meow asking her to pet him.
Henry laughed a little as he spoke " he likes you, which is a big deal since he has trust issues and doesn't like everyone," smiling at his feline before the girl found another to talk to so the teen spoke " Loki come," the orange feline walked back toward his own and sat in front of him. Amber eyes looking around as the tail flickered from side to side.
Henry picked up three treats that were out and kneeled on the ground, holding them at toward his feline as he spoke " down." Loki blinked at him and gave a short meow, the third year smiled softly as he spoke again, "down," this time watching a unhappy feline lay down. The teen gave his feline all three treats which he ate before rubbing behind his ears when he heard Cody's comments.
The teen looked at the younger boy, taken back since he thought him and Juniper were best friends. Henry didn't say anything to the hufflepuff as he stood and walked over to Juniper with a soft smile speaking " don't listen to him, I bet Ribbit is a genius and you'll have him better train than his owl in no time. Plus Ribbit is bloody more adorable than his owl," smiling toward Juniper as Loki walked over and rubbed aginest the girls legs sitting between the two.
"Do you want to train Ribbit to sit on your shoulder?" Henry asked when a commotion hit his ears, moving his blue eyes from the ravenclaw to Lizzy being pecked by a owl and bullied by another girl and Cody?
Henry rolled his eyes to Juniper a little before running toward the scene, putting himself between Lizzy and the other two as he spoke "enough, today is suppose to be fun and not meant for fighting or bullying," the teen would look toward the unknown girl and Cody when he said the word 'bullying', placing himself in front of Lizzy as he spoke " the grounds are large enough, so you two go to one side and Lizzy stays here with us."
Watching the two for a moment, Loki stayed by Juniper as Henry turned toward the girl; Lizzy watching her fir a moment as he spoke " do you know how to duel or any spells? I don't think a duel will solve anything, Lizzy and it might make things worse."
Loki is a intelligent feline that is quite stubborn and does things when he wants to, the feline has trust issues so its a challenge for him to trust others but he does like to be around other animals including small ones such as toads, rodents, and so on....

Outfit: x Did the boy really need to shout? She was right there and could hear him perfectly well, he did not need to scream at the top of his lungs. Nevertheless, she shrugged, "I honestly don't care about your list of enemies but no one deserves to get bullied, do they? But I guess you and Lizzy can do whatever you want. You do know dueling outside of dueling club is against the rules though, right?" Truthfully, she didn't care too much if Lizzy and Cody got into trouble by dueling. Considering Lizzy had pointed her wand at Adelaide before, it'd give Adelaide something to laugh at if Lizzy got detention.
Adelaide stepped back slightly when Cody threw a bunch of dead spiders at Lizzy. This boy was starting to weird Adelaide out more by the minute. She stifled a laugh when Cody's owl started pecking at the spiders on Lizzy. There was definitely some drama going on between these two, you don't normally throw spiders at someone you'd call a friend. Although, she wouldn't be entirely surprised if that was Cody's normal way of greeting his friends. This boy was weird.
Before things could escalate between Cody and Lizzy, an older boy stepped in. Adelaide frowned as he spoke, why was he acting like this was her fault? She wasn't the one who threw spiders at Lizzy. Or challenge someone to a duel. She was just a witness of whatever this was. "Hey, why are you acting like I had something to do with this? I didn't do anything!" Why was she getting accused of being the villain here? She wasn't entirely sure what was going on between Lizzy and Cody, but she definitely wasn't bullying anyone as this boy had insinuated. Of course she had went over to Lizzy in the first place but she was only following Misty, she just couldn't help herself from saying something to Lizzy. Plus, the feeling of dislike between the two was mutual. So, she definitely didn't think she was doing anything wrong here and she didn't really appreciate this boy telling her off.Word count: (670 + 351) 1021/1000

As soon as I saw you,
I knew an adventure
was about to happen.------Gryffindor, First Year
Oh dear. Things were starting to get crowded, and Annie’s introverted nature was making her want to retreat. How had the atmosphere changed so quickly? This was not what she had in mind for today. She’d been so looking forward to this, as well!
One minute, Lizzy had been coming over to greet her and things had been going well, the next; Annie found herself watching a fight about to unfold. In all the commotion, Mittens’ owner had hurried over; she obviously did not want her cat caught up in the crossfire of what could be a potentially messy duel. Antoinette could hardly blame them, and picked Mittens’ up, quickly gave her a cuddle goodbye and passed her back to her owner.
Turning back, Annie let out a shriek and jumped back, hitting her back on a nearby tree trunk as spiders cascaded down upon Lizzy. She was not a fan of spiders. Antoinette did a funny little dance and quickly brushed herself down. ”Are you okay?” She asked Lizzy, but she wasn’t sure she’d heard. Annie really did not understand Cody at all; he seemed determined to cause as much havoc as possible. ”She’s right,” Annie interjected at last, as Adelaide mentioned duelling was against the rules. ”Don’t do it, Lizzy. It’s not worth it.”
She looked between the two girls and then Cody, who were all in some weird, three-way altercation, when a boy called Henry suddenly came to intervene. He was a little older than them, and Annie found herself staring at him. She was half intimated, and half… Something else. The feeling had taken her by surprise. It was a feeling Annie hadn’t really experienced before, and one she didn’t completely understand. All she knew was that she liked looking at him, and then, quickly realising what she was doing, averted her gaze and turned scarlet.
Luckily, she didn’t think anyone had noticed her staring. Had they? Adelaide hadn’t; she’d been far too annoyed with Henry to notice anyone else’s reaction to him. Annie had never seen Adelaide before, and she figured right now wasn’t the time to introduce herself. In truth, she was confused by the entire interaction between Lizzy, Adelaide and Cody; a lot was obviously being unsaid and there seemed to be two separate arguments going on. All this back and forth was beginning to get on Annie’s nerves, and instead of feeling anxious, her temper was starting to flare.
”Here’s an idea,” she cut across suddenly. ”How about we all go our separate ways and just leave each other alone?”

Pretty much everyone, I've bolded names.
Willow was truly surprised with how many people started showing up, starting with the enthusiastic girl, Juniper, from the Quidditch game. Willow's smile brightened when she saw her, "Yeah I remember you! Thanks for coming, I really appreciate it. Ribbit is so cute!" Maybe it was time to actually stand up and join the crowd in training. But, it seemed like she was quickly swarmed with arrivals and explaining the setup. One of her friends, Cade, was next to arrive. "No problem Cade, I tried to make Buttons jump earlier but he did not want to." She sighed and looked on her lazy sunbathing cat. "I'm sure I'll manage to get him to do one trick before the end of this."OOC Note
Hello my friends! I'm gonna cut straight to it. Right now I see two separate fights / disagreements occurring. Threats being thrown. Y'all are in the presence of a Prefect and a Duelling Captain. There can be IC and OOC consequences for this, especially in an errand. If you do not fulfill the errand, ie: training a pet, you will not receive the rewards at my own and other staff's discretion. I will always run my decision by other staff.
What do I mean by training?
Command examples: sit, lay down, jump, hop, stay, leave it, grab it, etc. If you're looking for ideas look up your animal + tricks in google and I'm sure it'll have examples specific to it. Saying "jump" and your pet failing and using the other 900 words to pick fights is not fulfilling the errand. I have also counted discussions of training techniques and how to motivate your pet as training.
I understand that your characters don't always get along, that they may have issues with other students. I implore you to explore that in other threads. An errand run by a staff member is not the place to do that.
If you have any further questions or concerns, my owls are always always open. If you're worried you haven't fulfilled the errand please ask me! I will happily relieve your worries or give you clear guidance.
She gave a small wave to Antoinette before she joined the crowd of people with a borrowed cat. She was thankful that some people volunteered their pets to be trained. She'd have to make some baked goods for them. Henry gave Willow some praise that made some red rise to her cheeks. Accepting compliments on her work was not something she was good at. "Thank you! If it goes well I'll be sure to do this again." Willow shuffled away from the group to make sure she could keep an eye on new arrivals as well as making sure everyone was doing ok. She knew there was a risk of animals not getting along especially with so many species in one area. What she didn't expect... was for people to start fighting.
Cody was a young first year in Hufflepuff that Willow vaguely remembered from the sorting ceremony. It was hard to keep track of all the newbies. Her nose crinkled at the idea of her errand being a setup for detention. This was a fun, wholesome event. Juniper retaliated but it didn't seem to go anywhere. Willow couldn't help but giggle as she saw other people struggle with their pets, especially the cats, and doing tricks. Looks like Buttons wasn't the only one who had selective hearing. She shouted out to the girl she heard introduce herself as Annie when she successfully got a trick done. "Nice job Annie! I'll have to get your advice for how to get Buttons off his butt later."
It wasn't long before another girl showed up that seemed insult another girl. Willow didn't know Adelaide and Lizzy but the two were now under her watchful prefect eye. Again though, it seemed to quickly fizzle out before any real conflict occurred. Willow's body was tense, why did everybody dislike each other so much? It was when Cody mentioned starting a duel tomorrow with Lizzy in the Great Hall when the girl groaned. Did she have to be a mean prefect right now? This was supposed to be fun, a time for bonding with pets. Not for enemy declarations and the beginnings of war. When Cody threw spiders at Lizzy, Willow gently threw Buttons around her shoulders and marched over.
"Annie has a fantastic idea. This was supposed to be a fun event, and you all are taking it as an opportunity to be mean!" Willow was a Hufflepuff, and had seen too much cruelty in her years at Hogwarts. Especially after her duel with Santario that she was still reeling from. "If you can't get along with the people here, I invite you to leave. You two." She glared daggers directly at Cody and Lizzy. "Don't make me post staff at the Great Hall all. Day. Because I will. If I get wind of a duel between you two tomorrow I'll hunt you down and take over your detention myself. I recommend you two separate before I have the mind to preemptively give it to you."
She looked at the rest of the group that had gathered. "This is a time to bond with your pet, to meet others who might be able to help you train. Please, please, be kind to each other. There is too much darkness at Hogwarts to spread it out like this." A chill went down her spine thinking about the literal darkness that lurked underneath the school. She held out her hands and shrugged. "The choice is yours, you can leave the event now if you can't get along, or stay and be kind to each other." There was a fierce determination in the prefect's eyes. She would not be pushed around.

open to interactions"It's good to meet you too," Cade would reply to Annie amiably. He hadn't truly gotten around to making introductions with the new students this year being far too busy with classes and dueling club. So Cade decided this little event Willow organized was killing two birds with one stone... though that expression was quite gruesome especially with what the task at hand involved. At any rate, the Ravenclaw would get to make new acquaintances and attempt to train Bartles all in one day!
As he introduced himself to Mittens, Annie asked about what Bartles was learning. "Er... Well it's a bit of a complicated process, really. You see, I'm trying to get Bartles to eventually tap dance. But I reckon it will be a challenging task for him. So first I've got to get him to hold a position on his hind legs." Cade would stroke his chin with a thoughtful air, considering the small toad in front of him. But then Annie and Mittens displayed a perfect trick and Cade would applaud in spite of himself. "Annie that was fantastic! Good job, Mittens. And you gave me an idea. I think I might use your technique to teach Bartles."
And kneeling beside his companion Cade would fish out one of his nightcrawler treats and hold it up just out of Bartles' reach. "Here, Bartles. Look here-- that's it! Nice juicy worm for you. All you have to do is reach for it. Get up on you legs, c'mon!" Cade would lift the arm holding the wriggling worm up and down, trying to tempt Bartles into obeying him. And surprisingly, Bartles obliged putting weight on his hind legs and forcing his plump frame skyward. Cade's eyes widened in amazement. "Nicely done, Bartles! I never doubted you," Cade chortled, fully aware that five minutes ago he doubted everything that had to do with the poor toad.
Sufficiently satisfied with the work put in with Bartles, Cade would take a break from training to see that another boy had approached the group. He looked somewhat familiar to Cade but he couldn't place the face. The boy would smile and Cade would raise a hand to wave. "Henry? Hang on-- Aren't you the bloke from Slytherin's dueling team?" And at once the Ravenclaw put the face and the name together, finally understanding. "It's good to finally meet you, I'm Cade. It's funny seeing everyone out of the dueling club." Cade would lower his gaze to regard the lanky feline trawling at Henry's feet. Listening to Henry list off the number of tricks he knew was quite impressive. Cade decided that Henry must be an expert trainer!
It was then that Cade noticed a sort of tension fall around the first years. And Cade would furrow his brows a sudden intense expression dawned on his features. Honeyed eyes flitted around at the sullen faces and heated words. Finally locking on one kid who was quite small. What was going on? Why were they all being so cruel to each other? It had only been two months since the start of school, how was it that people were already making enemies? But then Cade had remembered his first year and Katherine pinning him to the grimy tiled wall of the abandoned toilets. As a first-year, he too made questionable relationships. But never so publicly. Never within a widespread event in front of a prefect. And suddenly Cade felt bad for poor Willow having to deal with whatever this squabble was on her very first event of the year.
Cade was only glad that Willow seemed to put an end to the threats and general tension, but a feeling of awkwardness settled in the air for a moment afterward. And Cade would take it upon himself to strike up a conversation, an attempt to continue the event. "Did you say you could get Loki to sit on your shoulder, Henry? Would you mind terribly to show me how to teach Bartles the same?"

To Annie's utmost relief, Willow, the Prefect/Co-Captain of the Dueling Club, and the Organiser for this event, had decided to step in and put a stop to all this fighting. Along with Cade and a few others, she'd been hugely encouraging to Annie as she'd trained with Mittens, and like a true Hufflepluff; it was clear she had a clear sense of hard work, justice and right and wrong,
This was the closest Annie had gotten to getting into trouble since she's began at Hogwarts, and Annie felt a little shaken by the whole thing. In fact, she felt rather upset and was glad when Willow agreed that they should all just separate. She desperately hoped that this would be the end of it, and there'd be no more trouble. Her initial surge of anger was quickly subsiding. "Thanks, Willow," Annie said in a small voice.
She turned to look at Cade, who'd managed to stay out of the latest drama. He was looking a little awkward, and all together surprised by these eleven year old's boldness. "Bartles has done really well," she told him, trying to break the tension in her own way. "It's obvious you two share a bond!"
Annie felt rather uncomfortable herself, and could feel herself getting a little emotional. This wasn't how things had been supposed to go. She'd got caught in the middle of a fight, she'd lost her training buddy, and almost lost house points for Gryffindor. The whole thing had made Annie want to run to her dormitory and hide. In fact, she might just do that.
"I'm sorry, I have to go," she told them all, her little lip beginning to wobble. "I'm sorry if I caused any trouble." Without that, she waved a hand in goodbye and turned on her heel before any of them could see her cry.

Care looked as if he had some experience with this training as he pulled out a jar of forms. "Yeah that's true... But Ribbit has always liked crickets. I've never tried worms with him as treats, really." Juniper peered at his jar wondering how he got hit. Had he simply bought it or filled it himself? On the subject of their frogs, the boy introduced his pet. " Bartles? How cute!!! He kinda seems like a male, anyway. " She shrugged with a smile as she fawned all over his pet.
Juniper soon was smiling at Annie, the girl who walked over. "I'm Juniper, but you can just call me Juni, or June like the month." She introduced herself to both Cade and Annie. Noting that Annie giggled at Ribbit's name, Juniper decided she liked Annie. "Its a looonnnnng story." She laughed. Henry was talking and Juniper directed her attention to him. "Wow he knows some stuff already, then." She said with a hint of jealousy. But the feeling soon faded away as Henry said that her frog wasn't lazy. June appreciated it either way. " OH, no, he really is.But it won't hurt to try!
Not long after, when June asked to hold Henry's pet, she was sitting with an orange fellow. " Wow, he's super duper soft! I could just cuddle him allllllll day haha!" She giggled, feeling that Loki wouldn't like that.
June nodded enthusiastically at Henry's offer. "Oohhh, yes! That will be fun!" Then her savior arrived. The girl who surely was an angel that no fire could be near her. "Samantha! Guys, this is the girl who helped me when I was on fire. Don't ask." Juniper flipped her hair. "yes, I know, look at me, not being on fire." She raise d her eyebrows up and down.
June couldn't help but watch with interest as Cody called a Wings of Fire name, and then an owl came flying. Where on Earth? But he chose to snap back at Juniper first. Not at Juni... no, he insulted her frog. "I can always train him to steal from annoying gremlins." She said sweetly. "but it's best you stay away from the both of us, since I don't want your idiot brain waves hurting Ribbit. Buh bye." She felt proud for not lashing out. She had maintained control. She smiled at Henry. "Thanks." She shook her head. "You're right, I shouldn't listen to him. He's a poop head anyway."
But she couldn't help but snap back at his threat to another girl. "I wouldn't challenge someone to a duel since last time it cost you big time." She then attempted to smile at him, but it looked more like a grimace. An evil one. So she stopped trying.
Juniper turned away just to hear a shreik. She spun around quickly and saw a girl getting pecked at by an owl- no, Cody's owl. Juniper thrust her frog into Henry's hands.
"You're in frog choir, you can hold him, can't you? I'll be back. Like, so quickly." She bounded up and ripped off her shoe then ran to the girl with one shoe on. She swung her shoe angrily at the owl. "BACK! BAD OWL! No!" She was doing her best NOT to hurt the owl but to just scare it away. She turned to Cody, "Now I didn't hit your owl but I WILL hit you with this if I have to!" She warned.
Juniper nodded at Annie. "Yes, yes! Agreed!" Then Willow walked over and scolded them which Juni looked away from the face of the girl. She felt just a little ashamed, but also proud. She gave a hint of a smile to Annie, Lizzy, and even that Adelaide girl.
"Sorry" She mumbled. She didn't want to get on the badside of Willow, she really liked her. She walked back over to the group, and took her frog. "So, what were you saying about getting them on our shoulders? Ribbitsits but he jumps off my shoulders when I try. Hey, maybe if I try it and he jumps, I can say 'jump' as he jumps, and then I give him a treat? That's how it works with dogs, like, connect the word with the action."

Did the boy feel bad about what he did? More than likely, he didn't. But he really needed to train his owl, and the threat that Willow, the Hufflepuff Prefect that he thought he could trust, seemed to have snapped at him. How awful was that? A duel was announced, but he didn't realize that his tiny stature led to him talking loudly in a booming voice.
A mutter of dissatifaction was murmered as Cody looked down to the floor. He was yelled at, kinda, by a prefect, OF HIS OWN HOUSE! Cody had immense pride in Hufflepuff, but why did his own house have to backstab him?
He put so much trust in Hufflepuff, it seems that he should avoid trusting people, but he knew that was never going to happen. A sigh.
"Alright Da-" He saw Juniper running after Darksea with her shoe, what a monster! And then she had the audacity to approach Cody and call him an ANNOYING GREMLIN? That was all he was called since he came to Hogwarts. How dare she? Did someone want to tell her how much of an annoying gremlin she was to Cody?
Something inside Cody snapped. "DARKSEA. GET YOUR FEATHERY BUTT OVER HERE." Cody was a little angry, and of course, the owl would not come to him. As a matter of fact, it would avoid him unless Cody was calming down.
"DARKSEA. I GOT YOUR SPIDERSSSSS" Cody attempted, still yelling, but angry enough to cause paper to ignite itself (a saying I've heard XD). It probably would be a cold day in hell if Cody were to ever be considered the nicest human to ever exist.
The threat of him having to be kicked out, even if it was Willow "inviting" him to leave, with Lizzy, was atrocious. He decided to walk in front of everyone, give his apologies, and attempt to get Darksea back under his trust. Well, he was going to apologize ONE time.
"Listen, everyone. I'm sorry that I caused disruption here. I'm sorry that I threw spiders and sicced my owl at you Lizzy. Now, we can still duel tomorrow, even if there are to be staff there, I think I deserve detention. My actions comes with consequences, and I will admit to it all if we had a trial. Of course, It'd have to be done the American way, following the Sixth Amendment and a jury of twelve. I'm truly sorry, but I'm not leaving. I'll just train my owl then be on my way."
"Darksea, do you trust me now?" He hoped that the spirit owl of the Māori tradition, would trust him, or love him. That was the whole point of today. The whole point of this training session. A yelp sound would come from the owl, and Cody knew, by reading about Morepork owls, that sound meant that he either didn't trust the Part Goblin, or that he was forewarning something ominous. At the moment, Cody was going with distrust.
"Darksea. Pleasseeee." Cody pleaded, his voice wavering. He was devastated right now. His own owl seemed to not like him, to not trust him! That was awful!
A minute would pass before the owl made a different sound, it's own sound. He knew now, that Darksea didn't completely trust Cody but would trust Cody to an extent. After all, Darksea was hunted down by a shoe. Eh, but so was Cody.
"Darksea Wolfspider Nevermore Oak Stevenson. I love you. Do you want some steak bites?" The yelp was sounded. No. He wished the owl could talk, but apparently, no. It was the wizarding world, everything was magical, but why were the animals incapable of talking in the magical world?
Cody dug around in his pockets, feeling a whole bunch of legs and tiny bodies, dead of course. It was as of spiders. Dead spiders. Cody desperately wanted to throw them by Lizzy, but he refrained from doing so. In hopes to get back onto a good page with most of the group... well, he had enemies in that room, but he wanted to impress the prefect, show that he could change.
"Darksea, here. Have some yummy spiders!" Cody said, holding out his hand. His long fingers allowed more spiders to be in his hand, instead of a human child's handful. He was planning on, and was about to, train Darksea under the Gobbledegook language.
"Dequjrie, geks." Darksea, halt. Upon this command, he stopped eating the spiders. He hooted at Cody, and Cody knew that somehow, this owl understood what he was saying. How? Well, surely he didn't know an entire statement in Gobbledegook. He knew that Juniper would know what he was saying, but he didn't care.
"Dusltau, xjz usa zio ti satetvupv uhueptv na? it ev dabuota vja ivjas hsanmep ep vjet siin nufa zio dameawa vjuv e xut vja upvuhipetv? wjz? sja bjutaf ugvas zio xevj o tjia. Darksea, why are you so resistant against me? is it because the other gremlin in this room made you believe that o was the antagonist? Why? She chased after you with a shoe. That was her fault, you should get mad at her, not me. Therefore, I do give you permission to hunt her down if you want to. Of course, not on Hogwarts grounds. But I ask that you be nice, please. Cody asked, his eyes slightly wide.
If Juniper was even listening, she'd tell that Cody was telling Darksea that she was at fault for Darksea getting mad.
Well, Darksea didn't seem to comprehend that, so why did he understand the Halt command in Gobbledegook?
"Dequjrie, vems ruli duub? o'kk foti xua ruli od xua'kk ros, hars... um lx rguakbiqu." Darksea, do you want food? Just sit... on my shoulder. Cody told Darksea that if he'd sit, he'd give him food. Only if Darksea sat on his shoulder.
A confused hoot would be sounded out of Darksea's beak.
Of course, but the halt command was throwing him off. Cody thought for a minute, then looked around, everyone else was training their pets. It came to him. He had to train Darksea!
With every command he'd say in Goobledegook, he'd gesture it, or maybe act it out.
"geks" A halt command, or another word for rsun, which is stop. Cody pretended to run, while flapping his imaginary wings. Then he stopped. Standing still. Hopefully the owl understood.
"dkx" A fly command. Cody did the exact opposite as the standing still result, he started to pretend to fly, flapping his fake wings, made of air, and ran around a little.
"ies" Telling an owl to eat was weird. Especially since the word was in Gobbledegook. Every owl should know the word EAT in every language. Cody despised spiders, but to show what the word meant, he slowly, and reluctantly, grabbed a spider out of his pocket and ate it. In front of everyone, and if he were to spit it out, he'd be humiliated.
"kuuj es li" A slightly longer command, roughly translating to Look at me. Well, this would be slightly difficult. He just stood a few centimetres from the owl's beak, and stared at it's eyes.

Samantha giggled after Juniper flipped her hair and moved her eyebrows. "Your hair does look fiery, but luckily it isn't really on fire." She smiled towards the other girl. Samantha liked the red hair of the girl, as it was way less common then brown hair like she had.
Samantha was quite surprised when people started to bicker, because she had excepted it would be fun and everybody would be nice and happy. First it had been two girls and later a small boy also joined the conflict. Samantha decided to stay out of it, even though it was really hard for her, especially when one of the girl said something about the boy's size. Samantha didn't like it when people had to point out how small the other was. It annoyed her terrible, because she was also smaller then most children of her age.
But when the boy said something about dueling Samantha had to interfere. "You can't dueling in the great hall! That's against the rules, if you would like to duel you should join the dueling club." She hated it when people wanted to break rules. Rules existed for a reason, most of the time for their own safety, so there was no reason to break any rules.
Samantha watched curiously as Cody threw something in the air. She had no idea what it was or what the boy was doing. Her eyes followed what the boy had thrown in the air as she tried to see what it was. Once she realized what it was, she froze and her eyes widened. SPIDERS, why in the world would that stupid boy throw SPIDERS in the air.
She was horrified, she had a great fear for spiders. Once Sam was able to move again she quickly took a few steps back, away from the spiders and the boy who threw them. If she hadn't been surrounded by people she might have screamed, but now all she did was quietly run away from the horrifying spiders and the group of students. Samantha had left the group around the same time that the prefect joined the students, but Sam hadn't noticed it, because she was to focused on the spiders.
Once the group was a couple meters behind her, she looked back checking the ground to see if a spider was following her. When she saw that there was no spider following her she started breathing again, which she hadn't done since she noticed the spiders. Her legs were really shaky and her heart was racing.
She felt terribly alone, even though there was a group of students within 10 meters of her, but she wasn't going to tell them about her extreem fear of spiders. She quickly scanned the air for her pet. Once she found him she held her hand stretched in front of her face, so Amenadiel could land on it, and called out his name.
Amenadiel had been flying around the grounds, as he didn't want to come close to the cats of the students. He didn't trust cats and it wouldn't be the first time one of them would mistake him for a toy that they had to catch out of the air. When his owner called he quickly flew to her and landed on her extended hand.
Why had Samantha called him? Was she going to give him food? He would love to have food, after all she had promised him food. Amenadiel waited on his human to get hid food out of his little bag, but she didn't move. He let out an indignant squawks and turned around on the hand of his owner, so she would see his back, which was a way to disrespect his owner.
When Samantha felt the weight of her little owl on her hand, she calmed down a bit. She felt safer now her owl was with her, she wasn't alone anymore. Even though she was less panicked she still didn't want to return to the group of students. When Amenadiel turned his back to her, she quickly reacted. She placed her hand underneath the tailfeathers and gently pushed his tail, so that he had no other choose but to turn around and face her. "Don't do that," she told the little owl, "don't disrespect me like that."
Samantha did feel slightly guilty she had come her to train Amenadiel, not to freak out over spiders or socialize and make new friends. She took a couple of deep breaths and after she had calmed down she turned her focus to her pet.
She placed her hair, which was tied in a ponytail, on her right shoulder, so Amenadiel would have enough space to sit on her left shoulder. She brought her right hand, on which the little owl was sitting, to her left shoulder. She turned her hand so that Amenadiel his back was facing her shoulder. With her left hand she gently pushed against Amenadiel his stomach, so that there was no other thing for him to do then step bak on her shoulder.
When Amenadiel was standing on her shoulder she was really happy, she thought she had succeeded into training him to stand on her shoulder, but her happiness didn't last long. After standing on her shoulder for one second the little owl had decided it didn't want to stay there and stepped back on her hand. The young girl let out a sight, this was going to take a long time.
Being as patient as Samantha is she tried again, following the same steps as before. After Amenadiel sat on her shoulder of 3 seconds he stepped back on the hand and let out a screech. He had no idea what his owner was trying to do, he just wanted to get food.
Samantha knew what her owl wanted, so she searched in her bag for food. Once she had found it she gave a little bit of it to Amenadiel. She showed him that there was more. "You will have to work hard if you want more, okay?"
After the brown owl was finished eating, the girl tried it again. She moved her hand to her shoulder and gently pushed Amenadiel on it. This time he stayed on her shoulder and she moved away her hand. She had a big grin on her face, this was amazing! She moved her hand to her shoulder, so her perfect little owl could step off her shoulder.
"Good job, little one!" She told her owl as she gave him a treat.

Henry smiled toward Willow, glad that the prefect resolved the conflict since that day is suppose to be fun and about training one's pet.
Henry turned his attention back to Loki, offering his feline a small smile as he spoke " Sit." Loki gave a short meow, squinting his amber eyes as he flicked his tail from side to side as he sat down on the grassy area.
The third year smiled at his feline, kneeling on the ground besides Loki as he looked at him and spoke " paw." The third year held his left hand out to Loki who stared at it, tilting his head and giving a meow as he clawed at Henry's hand with a hiss. The teen jumped up to his feet, pulling his hand away as he eyed his feline who sat up looking at him with amber eyes.
Looking up to meet Juniper's voice, smiling softly at the girl named Samantha as he spoke " I'm Henry, it's a pleasure to meet you Samantha, " then looking over at Juniper as he playfully jabbed " did one of you pranks go wrong, June?" Smiling at the girl before looking over at Loki as he cleared his throat then spoke " paw." Loko stared at his onwer, the feline annoying waved it's right paw with a short meow before placing it on the ground once more.
Henry smiled at his feline, giving him a small fish flavored treat that Loki snatched up then ate. Henry softly smiled at his feline, clearing his throat as he held a hand up toward the feline and spoke "down." Loki stared at his owner, the orange feline gave a long meow and stretched his back out before takimg a seat on the ground. Henry stared at his stubborn feline who seem determined to get his way without doing another trick.
Henry smiled at his feline before looking up at the ravenclaw boy, recognizing him as Cade from the dueling club. The third year had to get use to others knowing him from dueling as he replied " yeah, that's me and your Cade right? It's brilliant to meet you, mate," Henry smiled toward Cade before turning back toward his feline as he kneeled on the ground and look at his amber eyes.
"Paw," Henry spoke toward the feline, Loki however had another plans and jumped up stretching his paws in a attempt to claw at his onwer. Henry quickly scamlbed toward his feet to avoid his feline's claws, carefully watching his feline who he knew was intelligent but also had a mind of his own.
The third year was about to train his feline again when a frog was placed in his arms and Henry replied " I am and alright," holding the Juniper's frog, the teen watched his amber eyes feline wondering what he should try to train him to do next.
Handing the frog back to Juniper, the teen heard Juniper's words and Cade's words as he waited a moment before speaking " sure, I could help you both teach your frogs how to jump then sit on your shoulder," Henry gave a whistle and Loli climbed up onto his leg and sat on his right shoulder.
Loki is a intelligent feline that is quite stubborn and does things when he wants to, the feline has trust issues so its a challenge for him to trust others but he does like to be around other animals including small ones such as toads, rodents, and so on....
